Hundreds of Steel Saints released their attacks after compressing their cosmos to the peak of 6th Sense.
“Steel Bolt Canons!”
A barrage of steel bolts can be seen filling up the sky as the Steel Saints continued to release the barrage of steel bolts towards the tens of thousands of monsters en route to the Imperial Kingdom.
“Yin Yang Corps, commence the attack!”
“Use Area of Effect Spells to stop their advance!”
With a shout, the 1st and 2nd Divisions of the Yin Yang Corps released their own spells and Techniques.
“Light Arrows!”
“Lionnet Bomber!”
“Refractor Bullet Barrage!”
“Twin-Phased Merazoma!”
“Gigabreak! Gigabreak Strash!”
“Eight-Phased Bloody Scraid! Yamato No Orochi!”
“Ryozan, Shoryu Ha!”
“Large Scale Behoma!”
Numerous notifications rang on the mind of everyone as the battle broke out.
“Ding!”
“The Battle to Defend the Imperial Kingdom has begun!”
“Ensure that the Homing Beacon is not destroyed in the next 96 hours for your reinforcements to arrive successfully.”
“Successfully eliminated 300 enemies.”
“Enemies Left: 99,700.”
Despite hearing the disparity between the attackers and defenders, Kuro, Hyunckel and the others did not lose hope. The enemies literally outnumbered them 10 to 1, but this fact did not extinguish their sense of duty to protect. Despite going all out, they were able to eliminate only 300 enemies, and this posed as the biggest crisis that the Yin Yang Corps has faced since their inception.
Maam and Leona quickly realized that the enemies were trying to exhaust them with numbers. This prompted them to make suggestions regarding their strategies.
“The enemies are attacking us in waves comprising of 300-500 monsters each.”
“I suggest that we use large scale healing spells for the Undead ones.” [Leona]

“We should also use fire-based spells for the snowmen and ice monsters.” [Maam]
“Let us use the element that they are weak against so that we will not get exhausted.” [Leona and Maam]
Kuro and Hyunckel nodded simultaneously as if they understood the circumstances at the exact same time.
“Let us also take turns in combatting these monsters.” [Hyunckel]
“The 1st Division of the Yin Yang Corps will take the first turn then.” [Kuro]
“Everyone, dismissed!” [Kuro]
Having adjourned the quick huddle, Kuro immediately lead his Yin Yang Corps 1st Division and Half of the Steel Saints to attack, while the 2nd Division and the others rested. After a dozen breaths of time, 2 additional battalions arrived to provide as their reinforcements. 1 battalion is comprised of Vampire Hunters, Priests, Clergymen and people from the Japanese Army. The 2nd battalion comprised Sorcerers, Adventurers, Rangers and other professions.
Hyunckel, upon seeing the arrival of the reinforcements, made the additional arrangements.
“Vampire Hunters and Priests, please go and assist Kuro and the 1st Division of the Yin Yang Corps.”
“Adventurers, please get in formation and wait for additional orders. We’ll go and switch with the Steel Saints after 2 hours.”
The next wave of attacks comprised of numerous Undead Warriors, Undead Archers, Undead Knights, Undead Wyverns and Undead Liches. Leading them was one of the Generals of the Dark Lord, a Giant named Balore. With Balore came 2 Specters, Earthly Hiding Star Worm Raimi, and Earthly Secret Star Dullahan Cube. Also with this line-up came the defeated Flazzard and Zaboera, both of which were itching for revenge against Kuro and the others.
Flazzard and Zaboera were both resurrected by Demon Lord Vearn with his Demon Magic. With the help of Soma and his Powers of the God of the Underworld, retrieving the souls of these two were done easily, even if their souls were scattered in the previous fights. Both of them also received their respective power-ups, as Zaboera was emanating an aura which was no less than Hadlar. The same can be said of Flazzard, who can easily topple a dozen Silver Saints within a dozen breaths of time.

This wave could be said to be the newly resurrected Undead Legion of the Demon Lord combined with the Undead monsters from the Forces of the Dark Lord. This wave alone comprised of more than 20,000 Undead, which can make one’s scalp to tingle upon first sight.
“Priests, please bless the weapons of our brethren!” [Kuro]
“Vampire Hunters, to the front!”
“Steel Saints, please provide cover for the Vampire Hunters!”
“Leona, please ready your Mass Scale Behoma and target both friend and foe alike.”
“Get ready for the initial clash after two dozen breaths!”
“Let’s do the opening fireworks. Pop!”
Having spent the weeks together, Pop has now gotten accustomed to Kuro and they both treat each other as their close friend. Pop gave a solemn nod after receiving Kuro’s instruction.
“One Hundred Meras!” “Fire Rain!”
“Three-Phased Merazoma!” “Merazoma Fusion!” “Gargantuan Merazoma!”
“Merazoma Infusion!” “Tornado Infusion!” “Merazoma Storm!”
Pop quickly chugged two huge mana potions after releasing all of his spells that he stored previously. Since all of the spells that he used were of Yang/Light/Fire nature, his Area of Effect (AOE) attacks were the bane of the Undead, hence causing more damage.
“Souma, your turn!” [Kuro]
“Roger that Kuro!” [Souma]
“Lionnet Bomber!”
“Lionnet Burning Desperado!”
“Lionnet Burning Flare!”
“Lionnet Flare Storm Bomber!”
“Lionnet Explosion!”
Souma, one of the Fire-Based/Yang-Based Bronze Saints that have attained the peak of 7th Sense, unleashed all of his cosmos with 5 of his strongest signature attacks. Kuro wouldn’t miss out on the initial clash as he also released his powered-up techniques.
“Burn! My Cosmos!”
“Cheiron’s! Light Impulse!”
“Light Arrows!”
“Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!”
After eliminating the forefront of the Undead Monsters, the Yin Yang Corps took the pace of the battle easily from the charging Undead.
“Maintain formation!”
“Vampire Hunters, use your Holy Water!”
“Priests, use your healing spells!”
“Steel Saints, get ready to cover any gaps in the formation.”
Kuro was then joined by Maam, Pop and Souma as they stared at the approaching Balore, Raimi, Cube, Zaboera and Flazzard.
“Looks like it’s time for the main course.” [Kuro]
“Hyunckel and the 2nd Division will be able to assist us after two dozen breaths.” [Maam]
“Let me handle the big guy.” [Souma]
“Let me take care of Zaboera and Flazzard.” [Pop]
“Maam you take care of Raimi.” [Kuro]
“I’ll handle Cube.” [Kuro]
“Vampire Hunters and Priests, maintain formation and slowly retreat if you are encircled by the Undead!”
“3/4 of the Steel Saints, continue to provide long range support for them!”
“1/4 of the remaining Steel Saints, get ready to support the Vampire Hunters and Priests. Brawl with the Undead if necessary!”
“Let’s do this! Protect the Imperial Kingdom!” [Kuro]
“Stay Alive and get treated if you are injured!” [Kuro]
“Engage the enemies, Now!” [Kuro]
Kuro’s innate talent of being a leader is now showing after being trained by the YYSC for the past weeks.
