“I have received a message from Libra Genbu.”

“He told us to go directly to the Imperial Kingdom since it is nearer.”

“Our objectives are: First, to ensure that the homing beacon is intact inside of the Imperial Castle.”

“And Second: to engage in combat with the forces of the Dark Lord and Vearn in case they manage to break thru the blockade set up by everyone.”

After Kuro’s short briefing, Pop and Leona invoked their Flying Spells and casted it on everyone. After half a breath’s time, everyone flew into the direction of the Imperial Kingdom, with the aid of the Imperial Compass in Leona’s possession.

When they were around 350km from the Imperial Kingdom, the Yin Yang Corps were blocked by a net of monsters and undead. Leading these monsters was the leader of Vearn’s Sorcerer Regiment, Zaboera, as well as one of the Specters of Hades, Earthly Running Star, Gorgon Ochs.

Zaboera, together with a group of two dozen magicians of his magician regimen, casted numerous spells towards Kuro, Koga, Dai and the others.

“Merazoma!”

“Hyado!”

“Chain Lightning!”

“Water Ball!”

Without hesitation, Dai charged forward towards the spells before anyone could react.

“Let me show you guys my new prowess.”

“Invoke! Fused Dragon Crest!”

“Multiple Sky and Earth Slashes!”

A barrage of Sky Slashes and Earth Slashes were deployed from Dai’s Dragon Dagger. The slashes cut thru all of the spells like a hot knife cutting thru butter. Seeing this, Zaboera did not hesitate to cast a blood essence fuelled barrier (weaker version of Hadlar’s).

“Blood Barrier!”

Visible cracks can be seen on the blood barrier on every slash that it received from Dai. From all of the Magicians of the Magician Regiment, only Zaboera survive Dai’s onslaught. But Dai was not done yet.

“”Invoke! Fused Dragon Crest!”

“Draura Infusion!”

“Draconic Avan Strash!”

This attack is a combination of the power of the Fused Dragon Crest on Dai’s right hand, the Draura technique of his Father Baran (instead of channeling his Draconic Aura into firing like a canon, Dai infuses it in his Dagger) and Avan’s signature killing move, Avan Strash.

The barely holding blood barrier of Zaboera was cut like tofu. Zaboera himself was cut into two, from his head down towards his crotch before disintegrating. Dai’s attack spared no one as it ravaged forward. All of the monsters and undead along the way of the attack were reduced to dust.. About 1/3 of the monsters and undead where wiped out as a deep impression was left on the earth. A mountain which was along the way of the attack was also split in half.

Cold sweat could be seen on Gorgon Ochs’ forehead as he couldn’t believe that Zaboera, a Magician who can cause him trouble, was dead within a couple of breath’s time. Without hesitation, Ochs decided to flee, but Koga was already right in front of him before he was able to make his move.

“Leave this guy to me.”

“Dreaded Specter of Hades! Prepare to meet your maker!”

“Ignite, my cosmos!”

“Raaaaaa!”

“Pegasus! Syu Sei Ken!”

Ochs’ Surplice cracked as he took the Pegasus’ Saint’s Signature Punch. He also spurted out a mouthful of blood as he tumbled backwards like a dead dog. Only the white in his eyes can be seen as he lost consciousness.

“Eden, please do the honors” Kuro muttered, while cupping his fists towards Eden.

With a nod, Kuro started his attack, “Orion’s! Extermination!”

Orion’s Extermination is one of the strongest attacks of the Orion Bronze Cloth, and when clad with the 7th Sense, it hit the cracked spot of Ochs’ Surplice. Eden’s cosmos seeped into the cracked Surplice, causing it to break into thousands of pieces. Even though Eden used his full power, Ochs was a tough one, and he was on a near-death state.

“He is tough” Eden angrily said.

“In dealing with these enemies, we all have to be ruthless” indicated Hyunckel.

“Let me finish this guy off” said Aquila Yuna.

These startled everyone from the Yin Yang Corps. The gentle Yuna, who is known to show mercy, was the first one to mature before the beginning of the war. Without hesitation, she stood in front of Ochs and unleashed her killer move.

“Aquila! Blast Scythe!”

Ochs was cut diagonally, from shoulder to waist. Blood spurted out in all directions as he was killed like a chicken. Her action indicated her mindset that she had to be ruthless in the upcoming war. Tears can be seen dripping from her eyes but she did not bother to wipe them. Instead, Yuna closed her eyes and after a couple of breaths she opened them. Her look of gentleness was replaced with unwavering determination as she silently swore to finish off the enemies that threaten the peace of the Earth.

After half a time it takes for an incense to burn, the Yin Yang Corps was able to eliminate all of the undead and monsters who stood to block their way. They all knew that a larger force of monsters and undead have made their way towards the Imperial City in order to prevent Avan’s mass teleportation spell.

“Let’s hurry.”

“We’ll be there after a hundred breath’s time.”

They all resumed their travel as Pop and Leona casted Flight spells on everyone again, instead of using their magical carpet. The main purpose of this is so that everyone is on their highest alert state as they could be ambushed anytime by the forces of the Dark Lord and Vearn.

“I can see the Imperial Castle now.”

“It appears that a huge battle is taking place.”

“Let us offer our assistance at once!”

Without hesitation, all of the Yin Yang Corps made their way towards the battlefront with haste.
