“Bloody Scraid!” muttered Hyunckel as he performed his signature attack.

“Refractor Fist!” shouted Maam as she unleashed her fist.

As the two attacks hit Abaddon, the boss level monster, Kuro took the opportunity to suddenly appear on its back. He clenched the creature’s waist tightly before executing his favorite Pegasus Technique.

“Pegasus Rolling Crush!”

As Abaddon fell down with its head crushed, a system notification rang on Kuro’s mind.

“Experience +10000!”

“Due to not killing this monster alone, experience will be shared with the others.”

“Work hard, Saint!”

Kuro, Hyunckel and Maam couldn’t help but look around them. One word can accurately define what has happened in the Hakuba Shrine, and that is “Devastation”. On one side, the three Gold Saints can be seen in perfect coordination while taking down one of the boss level monsters.

“Rozan! Shinbu Ken!” roared Libra Genbu.

“Greatest Horn!” muttered Taurus Aldebaran.

“Bloody Waltz” mumbled Pisces Amor.

All three attacks of the Gold Saints struck and killed Malphas. Scratches, claw marks and bumps could be seen on the cloths of the Gold Saints after they have unleashed their peak 7th Sense cosmos in order to defeat the tough Malphas. Blood can be sin dripping on Genbu’s arm, while Aldebaran was injured in his waist and Amor had an injury in his right leg.

The third boss level monster was being handled by Dai, Pop and Leona on another side of the battlefield.

“Compressed Water Ball!”

“Hyado!”

“Now Dai! While it’s soak and frozen!” indicated Leona, who planned to maximize the damage caused by Dai’s technique.

“Die monster!”

“Dual Dragon Crests!”

“Gigadein!”

“Gigabreak!”

Zephyr, the third boss level monster, was cleaved in two. Dai, Pop and Leona can be seen panting as they exhausted most of their mana during their last attacks.

A vague silhouette of Sapphire Athena appeared beside Genbu, and with a sorrowful tone she muttered, “The Holy Sword has been taken away by Soma.”

“This is totally unexpected.”

“He should not be able to wield it since it is the holiest sword in the world.”

“Even the pope cannot wield it properly.”

Genbu and the others looked grim. Soma was able to take away one of the most powerful weapons that can be used against him.

Sapphire stared at Kuro, Dai and the others and muttered “You young ones, please make your way to Sanctuary.”

“I need to talk to you guys personally.”

“Genbu, leave Aldebaran and Amor there and let them handle things.”

Genbu and the other Gold Saints performed a deep bow towards Sapphire’s vanishing silhouette. Genbu relayed Sapphire’s order, before making his way towards Kuro and the others.

“Let us go, young ones.”

“Lady Athena wishes to speak with you.”

“To Sanctuary!”

Genbu escorted Kuro, Dai and the others towards Sanctuary. Pop used levitation and flight spells on everyone, even on Kuro, as they hurried towards Athena. Everyone took their respective potions in order to recover to their peak states as soon as possible.

Upon arriving at Sanctuary, everyone was gathered at the Aries temple. For the first time, Kuro and Dai were able to meet the other young Saints of Athena. The new Pegasus Saint Koga, Lionnet Souma, Wolf Haruto, Aquila Yuna, Dragon Ryuho and Orion Eden stood respectively on one side. The Gold Saints where standing behind Athena Sapphire’s silhouette, while the latter was calmly seated at the Aries Hall.

“Libra Genbu greets Lady Athena!” Genbu greeted, while performing the Saint Bow.

“I have brought the young ones.”

Sapphire Athena looked at everyone solemnly before starting their gathering.

“Young Saints and Heroes!”

“I apologize for the mishap with the Holy Sword.”

“To think that Soma can get the sword from Hakuba Shrine.”

“I should have brought it here in Sanctuary to be protected.”

“I have two things to discuss with you, and that includes you Koga and the other Young Saints.”

Sapphire looked towards Dai’s direction and stated “Young Dragon Warrior, it is time to receive the blessing of the Mother Dragon.”

“Even though we should wait until you are of age, but the circumstances are dire and we need all the help we can get.”

“I want you to journey towards the Mother Dragon’s resting place in order to receive her blessing.”

“Kuro, please accompany Dai and his friends.”

Kuro nodded, as he looked at Dai and said “Looks like we’ll be together for quite some time still, my friend.”

Sapphire then turned towards Koga and said “Koga, I want you and the other Young Saints to journey with them as well.”

“During the course of the journey, I hope you Young Saints will be able to unlock the true power of the Cloth Stones in your possession in order to awaken your hidden potential further.”

“I want you all to work together in order to accomplish this task.”

“With this, I hereby announce the creation of the Yin Yang Corps!”

“This group shall be divided into three.”

“The three leaders are the ones who possess both the powers of Light and Darkness, of Yin and Yang!”

Sapphire looked towards Kuro, then Hyunckel and lastly Koga.

“Kuro shall be the leader of the 1st division.”

“Hyunckel shall be the leader of the 2nd division.”

“Koga will lead the 3rd division.”

“Souma, Maam and Pop, you two will be part of Kuro’s division.”

“Ryuho, Leona and Dai, you two will be part of Hyunckel’s group.”

“Yuna, Haruto and Eden, you three will go with Koga.”

Thus, the Yin Yang Corps, comprised of the Young Saints and Heroes, was born. Kuro’s team was deemed the strongest, so they were only comprised of three while the other two comprised of four members.

Sapphire Athena then issued a reminder to everyone.

“We only have a month for preparation.”

“You all must become stronger as soon as possible.”

“Rest for tonight and head out early tomorrow.”

“Dismissed!”

As the meeting was adjourned, a soft voice entered Kuro’s ears.

“Young Sagittarius Saint, please come and see me.”

Wondering what’s the purpose of Sapphire, Kuro made his way towards the Pope’s chamber while climbing the steps of Sanctuary.
