He heard a spooky sound and started to feel uncomfortable, but he was much more confused that he can't see anything. He was supposed to be able to see in the dark, even without any light sources.

"System, What floor is this?"

"Why did I arrived on the eleventh floor?" He still wanted to kill the goblin king repeatedly and get some items from him.

"System, can I go back to the tenth floor?" He asked. He didn't like this place as it was giving him goosebumps.

"Who is it!" Zhen Lun yelled out anxiously.

'This...' His mind returned to normal again. This time, he was calm enough to think logically.

First, he needs some light. Zhen Lun used his fire mastery and summoned enough fire to lighten up the area, but again, the cave was still pitch-black.

Right now, he finally understood why he sees nothing but darkness. It's not that he can't see in the dark, it's everything black. The wall and the soil itself was black.

'If that's so, where is the creature?'

He can't see the creature, but he could hear the sounds it made.

'Does ghosts really exist?' Zhen Lun started to suspecting it as he kept hearing things.

He was taking damage constantly, though it's only one damage per second, it means that there's something that's attacking him.

'If it's a ghost, it won't get affected by his sword.' He wanted to confirm it by randomly swinging his sword.

'No sign of them killed.' He didn't receive notification from his system that he killed one of them.

'Then how about fire?' He used his fire mastery to summon fire that was enough to burn a person. With the fire on his hand, he launched it.

"Awoo!"

The ghost dodged his attack, but he caught a glimpse of the ghost's appearance. It has a figure of a human, but it has faceless. It has limbs, but it doesn't have legs as it was floating on the air.

The wraith came out from its hiding, but less than a second it went back to invisible again.

He threw his fire in the same direction where the wraith disappeared.

The wraith dodged it again, but this time before it could disappear, he executed Fiery Palm, an evolved version of Fire Palm.

This was the first time he used it in combat, he did use it before to increase its level, but he didn't activate its full potential as he didn't want to burn down his room with the full strength of fiery palm.

Fwoosh~

Looking at the current scene, he now realized his fiery palm was too overpowered. The size of his palm was increased by ten times larger, not allowing the wraith to dodge it at all. The upgraded fire, which was much hotter than a normal fire, swallowed the ghost instantly, turning it to ashes.

His choice for not upgrading it to tier-two skill was right. It was worth it to train it to level ten again.

As he continues to walk deeper, more damage appeared. This time he receives six damage per second, which means six ghosts were currently haunting him right now.

Using his fire mastery to make some of them come out from their hiding. He managed to kill two of them.

Due to the fire of his fiery palm, four wraiths came out from its hiding as they were afraid of the fierce fire that wanted to engulf them.

This was a good opportunity for him.

Using his fire mastery, he controlled the fire of his fiery palm to spread around, but to his expectation, it didn't spread far enough. The fire only spreads enough to kill two more wraiths.

He thought that Fiery Palm's fire would be easy to be controlled by him, but he was wrong.

Not only It consumed a lot of his mana compared to controlling normal fire, but it was also harder to control as though the fire was a living beast.

He discovered new things again. It seems to depend on what kind of fire, the consumption rate of his mana will also change.

He quickly activated his fire mastery. Just as he expected, he didn't summon normal fire anymore. The fire he summoned was fiery fire, which was from his fiery palm.

The only downside to this change was the mana he needed to summon fire if he wanted to summoned a large fire like before it would be impossible.

Right now, more wraiths were attacking him again, but he can't do anything as his fiery palm was on cooldown.

He wanted to attack the wraith with his fire mastery, but they kept dodging it. The strength of the fire did increase, but its speed remains the same. He tried to use other mastery against too. It didn't do anything to them.

'...Can it only be damaged by fire?'

"System, give me the information about Wraith."

Zhen Lun clicked 'yes' unhesitantly. Afterward, a screen appeared, displaying the information about wraith.

They were once a living-person. They are remains of spirts. They wandered around mindlessly feeding on other life forces, emotions, and thoughts.

Ability: Physical Immunity, Poison Immunity, Invisible, Life Drain Aura

Weakness: Fire Element, Lightning Element, Holy Element

Seeing that it has the weakness toward lightning element, he tried to summon lightning by converting his mana, but it was useless.

This wasn't the first time he tried it, he has tried it long ago, during the time he was experimenting with mana.

He has also tried to use wood element and ice element too, but he can't no matter what.

Next was the holy element. He didn't even know what kind of element was that, how can he summon it.

Sigh*

The only choice he has was to wait for his fiery palm cooldown or he could find a way to increase his throwing speed, but sadly the speed of the fire wasn't depended on how strong he throws.

This was truly a problem for him. For now, there's no need for him to bother with the wraith that attacked him as his health regen will keep up with it.

Later on, when he advanced to a higher floor, where the wraith will deal more damage than this. It will certainly cause a problem for him.

He needs to find at least another damage output to injure the wraiths. He can't keep depending on one skill only.

"System, How can I learn Lightning Element?"

While waitting for his fiery palm, Zhen Lun followed his system instructions and maxed out his other elements.

Reading the screens that were displayed Zhen Lun was excited. He can't wait to try them out. Though he was disappointed with spray and earth spike as he could make them without having a cooldown or needing to spend so much mana.

The first thing he tried was Fireball. He activated it by merely pronouncing its name in his mind.

'Fireball!'

A circle similar to rune array but it's not rune array appeared out of thin air. It shot out a fireball with amazing speed, clearly faster than the fire he throws.

The fireball traveled quite far, hitting a wall and left a burned mark.

With the speed of the fireball, he should be able to hit them now.

Next is Wind Blade.

The circle appeared again, this time a gust of wind came out. It was quite powerful, it could be said enough to cut someone at Body Harmonizing Realm in half.

'Spray!'

Zhen Lun was quite surprised by it. He thought it will just shoot some water. It did shoot water but its pressure is enough to chip the wall. It would injure someone who's at Body Harmonizing Realm too.

'Earth Spike!'

This one has actually shot earth spike not make earth spike out of the ground. 'I guess they're all equally powerful.'

With, Fireball he acquired another damage output to deal with the wraith. He was more reassured to advance to the next floor.

'Now I can't use them to find the stairs for me.' He sighed. He needed to wait for twelve hours before he could use them.

He got back to searching for the stairs, while occasionally kill the wraith that was haunting him whenever his skill was available.

13th floor...

Arriving on the 13th floor, he found a new creature. Unlike wraith, it wasn't invisible. It was similar to walking corpse.

HP: 5000/5000 MP: 1000/1000

They have no skins at all, leaving their rotten flesh being exposed. Which gave out displeasing smell. It was very disturbing for him as he has a sensitive sense of smell.

The ghoul was much more easy to deal than wraith as it wasn't immune to physical attacks. Though it wasn't immune to physical attacks it has some resistance to it.

Being separated from its head, its body was still moving. The only way to kill it with the physical attack was to chop or continue to hit them until their health points drop to zero. Of course, the easiest way was to burn them as their weakness was fire.

15th floor...

On this floor, each wraith now deals two damage per second. As long he didn't get too many around him, he'll be fine.

Other than the damage it deals, it also gave out cold aura like what his mother gave out, but they're still not as cold as what Zhen Xin can do.

The ghouls on this floor didn't give off a displeasing smell anymore. Its body was covered with hardened blood.

The rotten smell was lessened but whenever it moves around it was spilling its blood on the floor.

The blood that it left felt suspicious to him. He decided to try to attract one of them over to see what kind of changes the ghoul received.

Kyaa!!

The ghoul shrieked as it saw him, using four of his limbs it crawled its way to Zhen Lun. When it got close, it swung its claw at him.

Zhen Lun easily blocked it with his bronze sword, he doesn't want to use his mother sword as the blood it has was too filthy and he still doesn't know what happens when you touch the blood.

'Hm... nothing special?' Expecting something to happen but it didn't.

'Did I guessed wrongly? They're just blood?'

Other than dripping blood behind their tracks as they move, there's nothing special about the blood ghoul.

It has a sturdier body and sharper claws but it was still not enough to stop Zhen Lun from killing it.

Since this floor was plenty strong already he decided to just stay here and starts his grinding. There's no need for him to get worried as no time will pass when he returned.
