'Hehe that brat has left, Time to raise this little girl into a monster!' Elder Yu grinned.
"Little Snow is it?"
"Yes." Xiao Xue nodded.
"Since we're both in the same boat, I'll teach you how to cultivate but before that, You'll need to reach enlightenment about Martial Arts first before you cultivate. This will help you."
Elder Yewaved his hands a sliver of light came out from his hand. It traveled through the air and went into Xiao Xue's glabella.
Knowledge flows into her mind. She immediately reached enlightenment within a few seconds.
'Well... that was easy, It usually takes a while before.'
'Has my skill increased?' (From Author: Xiao Xue is talented this has nothing to do with your skills.)
"Ahem, looks like you've reached enlightenment." Elder Ye wear a proud expression. "Not bad, I'll impart you the first part of my cultivation technique. but first, you need to understand the basics of cultivating."
This time he cannot send knowledge to her like just now so he can't help but explain them through words. "Listen carefully."
"When you cultivate, you gather spiritual energy around you to your dantian. Spiritual Energy has many colors, each color represents their types. Normal people gather all spiritual energy around them without caring what color they chose. In fact, when the spiritual energy is not suitable for your dantian it will be exerted out forcefully which will consume some spiritual energy."
"Unfortunately, you are quite special. The Spiritual Energy you needed to absorb is one of high-quality energy, Out of hundreds, there are only one that you can consume."
"But do not worry! You have me so do not be depressed by it, following my technique you will actually benefit from having special traits. In fact, my cultivation technique is created for someone like you."

"For now you should try to feel the spiritual energy around you. I will give you a month to try to find them. It is quite hard and time-wasting but it is crucial to learn my cultivation technique."
As Elder Yu was explaining. Xiao Xue was already working on her own.
"Elder, are these flickering lights around us spiritual energy?" Xiao Xue asked.
'So fast? Where did that brat found this monster? It took me five years to sense spiritual energy!' (Author's Note: Now you realize it?)
"Ehem, A month time is what normal people take. It seems you are quite talented, I'll maybe impart some Saint-Grade Cultivation Technique to you."
"I see! Thanks, Elder!" Xiao Xue bowed respectfully to him. She was really grateful toward him.
'Don't, you're hurting me.' Seeing the respect he receives he felt guilty but at the same time, it felt quite good.
"Now, I'll be imparting my cultivation technique. Along the way, you should form your own path, as there's no way two person has the same concept of the way of cultivation."
Elder Yu waved his hand again, this time the light that appears from his hand is ten times larger than before. It went into her glabella and sent some knowledge to her.
He then starts to explain his conception of cultivation the same way he did for Zhen Lun. It is to create a solid foundation. Otherwise, If she just receives everything from the knowledge he imparted she will eventually break.
'That time when he asked me to teach him techniques I forgot that I can impart knowledge through that method. Well, since things have gone this far it is better to pretend that he forgot. I have no need to help him anyway.'

"Cultivating is a simple thing. You condense Qi to make your Qi's pool stronger. That way your Qi's pool can store more Qi inside. However, Like I said before you need certain Qi which is different for each person. My technique is quite simple If you cannot gather the spiritual energy to the one that you want, you convert them to the way you want. To do that, you just need to...."
Ten minutes of explaining. Xiao Xue is sitting on the floor cultivating according to Elder Yu explanation.
Slowly her cultivation realm soars like lightning before he can do something about it.
'What the heck! The Spiritual Energy around the room disappeared! This girl is already at Bone Tempering Realm in mere seconds.'
'No she's too young to advance any further I must stop her.' Elder Yu panicked, he wanted to stop her from cultivating but instead, his Qi was getting absorb instead.
'Oh my god! She's taking my cultivation!'
Elder Yu immediately closed his meridians preventing himself from being crippled but amidst of doing this Xiao Xue already reached transcendental mortal realm.
'Shit! I gotta risk it!'
Elder Yu used his only and strongest technique he has the 'Flick'. He flicks his finger and the space around him distorted. He carefully controls his strength to make sure he didn't accidentally kill her. The flick didn't carry any physical force but it damaged her soul and knocked her out from consciousness.
All of this messed he caused, injured him internally. He probably can't move a single finger in the next few hours.
'This little girl is literally crazy!'
Later on, Elder Yu managed to convince Xiao Xue, stopping her from cultivating further or activate her cultivation technique when he's around her. He also restored the room's Spiritual Energy that has been sucked dry by the little monster.
It is quite troublesome but If he didn't restore them, people will get suspicious as not only she sucked this room dry. The room next door and a few blocks away was sucked dry too.

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx.
