[Energy has reached a sufficient amount]
[Games System will now function properly]
[Initiating process]
A transparent screen appeared in front of his vision. The screen displayed a bar that was gradually getting filled up.
Few seconds passed, the bar was finally filled up to the end.
Ding*
[Do you want to enable Player status?]
[Yes/No]
[Warning: Agreeing will reset everything]
[Warning: Disagreeing will dissipate everything]
Ignoring the screens that have appeared, he was dumbfounded.
He never expected that he could overcome his bottleneck.
Currently, his mind was all over the place. He pinched himself, trying to confirm that he was not dreaming at all.
'This is my Martial Spirit?' He was confused as he has never heard or seen someone with such martial spirit before.
Judging from how it could communicate with him, it is clearly an Intelligent-type.
'I've heard a pet-type that has its own mind. I've seen a sword-type that has intelligence. But this one, it has no body or head. It's just a transparent screen.'
Right now, he has calmed down. He carefully examined the weird transparent screen.
Touching it with his hand, he could feel the screen.
If he added some force at the screen, his hand would go through it.
The transparent screen was following his vision which is a bit annoying. He can't unsee it even when he closed his eyes. It will always follow him no matter how fast he turns his head.
He then decided to read what the transparent screen has displayed.
'Agreeing will reset everything and disagreeing will dissipate the energy he gathered into nothingness.'
Zhen Lun sat on the floor, pondering the matter with a grave expression.
Since his martial spirit is warning him, what it said should be true.
'By agreeing to it I'll be enabling this so-called "Player" status.'
'On the other hand, I'll have to start from the beginning.'
'There's also another choice which is to disagree. If I choose that everything will be wasted.'
He totally doubts that if he disagrees, he will receive another martial spirit.
Without a martial spirit, he cannot pursue the path of martial artists anymore as the one with a martial spirit was obviously stronger
'Considering this was formed by the energy that I've gathered for the past eight years.'
'This 'Player' status should be very powerful.'
Even though he wanted to be optimistic, he hesitated to agree.
Imagining himself, starting over was traumatic for him.
What if he has to go through eight years achieving nothing again?
After a while, he managed to gather enough courage to say it out loud.
"I Agree!" He yelled out with determination.
He stood with a blank expression as he waits for some responses from his martial spirit.
Nothing is happening at all.
'Um, How do I agree to this?'
He tried to moved his hand toward the screen and tried to tap at it.
The screen closed by itself, revealing more screens.
[Command received]
[Resetting process will begin]
Mysterious blue particles appeared out of nowhere and covered his body like a cocoon.
Afterward, his body was gradually getting weaker as excruciating pain starts to flows through into his mind.
The mysterious particles somehow managed to enter his cultivation veins and destroy everything inside.
His dantian was then crippled, because of that, his muscles started to deteriorate.
Time slowly passed, Inside his body, there wasn't a speck of spiritual energy that can be seen.
After it completed its objective, which is destroying his cultivation, the particles around him converted gathered together to form a giant sphere that was as big as his head. It then went inside his body and disappeared without a trace.

Without him noticing, it actually formed new veins, allowing him to start over.
Without the veins, he couldn't cultivate no matter how much he tried.
[Resetting process completed]
[Please choose a nickname for The Player]
A new menu appeared along with various letters to press on.
Seeing the command, he was heartbroken.
'Till to this point is there any use of it, in writing a nickname?' He felt that his martial spirit was toying with him.
His cultivation was destroyed and his stupid martial spirit was in a mood for asking his nickname?
At his moment, he didn't care about it anymore, without thinking twice he typed in the first thing that came to his mind.
He typed 'The man that will become God' as his nickname.
It's quite a long nickname.
Zhen Lun clicked enter to submit his name.
['The man that will become God', Is that correct?]
[Yes/No]
Tap*
The transparent screen displayed a giant bar again. It was slowly getting filled. Finally, after it was filled, a bunch of screens popped out again.

Reading the screen, Zhen Lun went from confused to speechless and dumbfounded.
'Path to god! You're head!'
'I was joking! Why did you take it seriously.' Zhen Lun cried as he complained in his mind.
'I should have just written my name and everything will be fine.' He was depressed. He got himself into a troublesome predicament.
'How do I get someone to follow me?' Zhen Lun looked at himself in the mirror.
His cultivation was recently removed due to that his body was now thin and weak.
'With my current strength, I doubt that I could get someone to follow me. I need to enter the path of martial artists first and recover my cultivation.'
Normally entering the path of martial artists take a lot of efforts and time but since he has entered it before It should be easy right?
'To enter the Path of Martial Artists, one must first reach enlightenment. But since I already knew the basics I don't need--'
'Wait...'
Zhen Lun tried to recall the knowledge that he has stowed during his childhood.
Particularly, when he was at the age of four-years-old, he read a lot of books.
There was a reason he didn't start cultivating right away. He tried his best to gather enough knowledge first. That way, everything will be much easier.
But somehow, he can't recall the knowledge that he has previously studied before.
'Don't tell me...'
Zhen Lun sat cross-legged on the floor trying to execute the cultivation technique that he has learned during the past eight years.
Every time he cultivates, his cultivation technique deepens. So, it is not exxagerating that he learn cultivation technique for eight years as he was cultivating the entire time.
'Why can't I remember?' Realizing something fishy going on, he quickly stood up

He was trying to do a punching routine but to no avail, he cannot remember anything about the punching routine that he has studied before.
He tried to execute other combat techniques that he learned but the only thing he remembered was the name of the technique.
Now, he understands what the system meant by reset everything.
It was not just his cultivation but all of the techniques that he learned too.
'I also have to learn all the techniques from the very beginning?' His time spent on techniques were much longer than cultivating. To him, his knowledge of techniques that he learned was much more precious than his cultivation.
'You're kidding with me right?' Zhen Lun was infuriated to death, he wanted to punch the transparent screen but his fist went through to it as it hits nothing but wind.
Not only he has to cultivate from nothing, but he also needs to learn technique from nothing too.
Even though he finally awakened his martial spirit, He does not feel content at all.
He then starts to rummaging his room trying to find a book, Book of Cultivation Technique. He is not wasting time.
'Found it!'
Just as he touches the book, The transparent screen started to act up again.
[Book of Mastery, Cultivation Technique] (Quality: 1)
[Do you wish to consume the book?] (Yes/No)
Seeing what the screen displayed, he was perplexed for a while.
'Consume the book?'
He then unhesitantly tapped 'yes'. He was curious about what would his martial spirit do with the book.
Immediately after tapping 'yes' the book dissipates into particles. The particles slowly flow into his body leaving a warm feeling inside his mind.
Along with the flow of particles, knowledge of executing cultivation technique was implemented into his mind. Following that, more screens were displayed.
[Mastery Book consumed]
[Due to the low quality of the book, the skill remain incomplete]
[Skill progress 10%]
Below-Average Mortal (Level 1)
HP: 100/100 MP: 100/100
STR: 5 VIT: 5
AGI: 5 LUK: 5
INT: 5 MAG: 5
Skill:
Martial Artists: Cultivation Technique Lvl 0 (10%)
'It feels completed already but why did it say that it was incomplete.'
He begins to reanalyze the knowledge he received. Just to confirm that there is nothing wrong.
Surprisingly he found out that the technique was actually flawless to him.
Even though the knowledge of how to execute the cultivation technique was erased. The sensation and idea of how it works, he still remembered it as clear as day.
Feeling a bit unsure, He activated the cultivation technique on the spot.
'This... it feels refreshing!' Zhen Lun was shocked.
As expected from what he defines as flawless. Even though both of them are the same thing, the one he receives from his martial spirit is an entirely different beast. Just from the concept toward cultivating. It could be seen their difference.
Before this, he used to think that cultivating was a stressing thing to do. It was all because it takes a lot of efforts. It needs the person to fully concentrate, adjusting his focuses all toward cultivating, not sparing his mind in doing anything else.
However, The one he learned from this transparent screen. Instead of stressing his mind, it is revitalizing his mind. The spiritual energy was gathering and circulate in his body by itself as though there was something attracts spiritual energy towards him.
Moreover, this is an incomplete version. If he gathered enough books and received the complete version, what kind of miracles will happen?
The small sphere around his stomach is slowly gathering Qi or spiritual energy. It gathers small energy that was as small as a speck of dust forming a dantian which is necessary for entering path the of martial artists.
Yes, a speck of dust. Even though this cultivation technique is almost perfect it has one flaw that stood out after he used the technique.
The speed is too slow!
'At this speed, I can probably enter Body Strengthening Realm in a year time.'
'I need to gather more books to increase the progression to get a completed version.'
Well, even though Zhen Lun said that he does not have a way to obtain the books.
He is currently penniless, not a single coin is in his possession. He has stayed in the forest for too long that he felt coins was useless to him.
While he was thinking of the solution, he remembered there is one more book that he kept in his chest. He kept it just in case he lost the other one.
Since there was one, he wasn't going to waste any of them.
Zhen Lun quickly opened his hidden chest where he keeps his precious belongings.
[Mastery Book consumed]
[Due to the low quality of the book, the skill remain incomplete]
[Skill progress 20%]
Since each book gives ten percent of progression, he needed eight more.
'What to do?' Zhen Lun rubbed his chin, trying to think a way to obtain money.
The idea of hunting to earn money was out of question impossible too.
Right now he is probably weaker than a normal civilian. Most of the adults have already entered Body Strengthening Realm. With his current body which does not have spiritual energy, it was not exaggerating to say that he is weaker than a normal civilian.
'Should I sell this?'
He grabbed a jade bottle from his chest, looking at the bottle he was feeling dejected. He was contemplating whether to sell or not to sell the precious pill that his teacher gave him long ago.
After he has been expelled from Peerless Sky Sect. He pleaded his teacher to stop sending him precious pills. Since it has been years but he still shows no progress, his teacher can't help but agree to his selfish request.
Instead of providing him pills. his teacher bought him a cottage. That is how he ended up staying in a forest. This cottage cost his teacher a lot of money. With this, his teacher was in debt and currently trying his best to earn money.
The last batch that his teacher gave him. He has kept it in his possession for a long time. He wanted to give it back to his teacher but unfortunately, he didn't have the chance to do it.
His teacher disappeared without traces after he gave him a place to live in. as to this very day, he didn't even know his whereabouts.
Though he never saw his teacher again. he wasn't sad or anything. He didn't feel that his teacher has abandoned him.
'I'm sorry, Teacher. I have to sell it.' He stood up and prepared himself to leave this place.
Fortunately, his memory of the forest's routes wasn't erased by his martial spirit. Since he has been living in this forest for quite long already. He knew which routes to take in order to exit the forest safe and sound, without encountering any beast that may harm him.
After a while by following a specific route, he exited the forest without any trouble.
Currently, he was standing at the outskirts of the forest. In front of him, he could see the majestic city that he used to stay.
'It's been a while that I come here.' The nostalgic feeling struck him. It's been a while that he went back to this place.
