******* Arthur's POV *******

I am pushing my horse to run as fast as it can in the village while having my five guards trying to catch up with me.

I suddenly noticed two horses in front of us galloping towards our direction.

I quickly halted my horse and all of my guards. I waited for the two women to get near us.

It is Eleanor, her daughter, and her grandchildren.

"Arthur!" Eleanor quickly said to me while stopping her horse and her daughter also halted beside her.

"Are you alright? Where's Peyton?" I quickly asked Eleanor since I didn't notice the old man when I was helping the other villagers.

"Quick! You have to save my husband. He is holding a monster off all by himself." Eleanor said to me while crying.

"Where?" I quickly asked Eleanor.

Eleanor pointed at the general direction where they run off to and I quickly ordered my guards the protect them. My guards protested on me going alone to fight a monster so I decided to bring two of them with me.

We are now galloping towards the east and it is really hard to focus because of all the heat and smoke coming from the burning houses.

We managed to reach the place where Eleanor described and I can finally see someone stepping its foot on an old man.

I didn't bother to stop my horse from running and just jumped off while putting my iron armor on.

I rolled on the ground for about four blocks and quickly equipped my diamond spear on my hand.

I threw my spear at the monster about ten blocks from me while I'm still kneeling on the ground and my spear went through the monster's chest.

The monster didn't scream or anything and just tried to pull the spear out of its body.

I invoked the Loyalty III enchantment of my spear and the monster is now flying towards me while still having my weapon on its chest.

I quickly grabbed my spear on my right hand and I'm now facing the monster in front of me.

I can finally see the face of the monster and it looks like the monster is a woman.

Her face is filled with curiosity rather than pain.

She smiled at me after a while.

"Bad move, soldier," The monster said while hugging me with her arms.

The monster is too strong and I am having trouble in shaking her off even with my newfound strength given by the Goddess.

Her arms suddenly expanded a little bit and after a while, an explosion occurred making me close my eyes.

I don't know what just happened but I opened my eyes and saw that I am now standing at the bottom of a giant crater.

I am alright though and didn't even felt a little bit of pain.

It seems that the armor given to me by King Carolus is really well made but still, I can see tiny cracks all over them.

I tried spending my levels on my armor just like what King Carolus said to me if ever my armor's durability is reduced.

My armor suddenly glowed for a while and all of the damaged done to it was suddenly gone.

"Interesting. An iron armor with Blast Protection V and Mending enchantments." I can suddenly hear the voice of the monster in front of me.

She is missing her arms but I noticed that they are now quickly growing back.

'What kind of monster I am facing right now? Can I even defeat it all by myself?'

I just cleared my thoughts and just swing my spear with everything I got. The monster didn't bother to block and was hit hard. She flew out of the crater and I quickly jumped out of the hole to see where she is going.

The monster flew through a burning house and I can no longer see her.

I didn't let my guard down but I need to check on the person who is lying on the ground.

I run towards the person who is trying to stand on his feet.

"Peyton!" I quickly exclaimed after identifying who the person is.

"Arthur, what are you doing here?" Peyton said while losing his balance and is now slowly falling on the ground.

I quickly helped him stand up and ordered my two guards to escort him out of here. My guards protested to my order but I just ask them if they can fight and win against that monster, I'll let them join the battle. They didn't say anything and just picked up the old man and leave.

It is only me, the burning village and that monster left in this place.

I'll kneel on the ground with one knee while holding my spear with both hands in front of me.

'I won't fail you, Goddess.'

I can see the monster slowly walking out the burning building and it seems she is not bothered with the heat.

I quickly rose in my feet and prepare for battle.

It has been a long time since I fought a powerful monster. Last time, it was a three block tall skeleton along with its army but I know this one I'm facing right now is much more powerful. I may not win this one but I'm not letting any monster set foot in my kingdom.

This monster will just have to walk over my cold corpse first before she can do anything in the Kingdom of Astikuviel.

"How peculiar. You are a lot stronger than an average human. Perhaps you are King Carolus the old man was talking about?" The monster said to me while fixing her whatever left of her tattered clothes.

"Sorry to disappoint you but no, I am not him," I said to her while increasing my guard.

I don't know what her abilities are so I have to be careful. I know she can explode her arms so I just have to avoid getting grabbed or caught.

"I see." The monster said after a moment and then she leaped forward.

She is fast!

I quickly dodged to the side to avoid the monster's assault.

Her punch broke the wall of the house behind me and the house is now collapsing.

It seems she is strong too.

I won't falter. I'll just need to find a weakness or wait for sunlight since it might be this monster is an undead.

******* Legendary Creeper's POV *******

I can see the human is now on the ground trying to stand up.

The battle went on for a while but it seems he is now tired and it is already the middle of the night.

The light of the fires from the burning houses are now gone and it is now pitch black. This is one of the reasons that I managed to land a few hits since the human can't see in the dark.

This human might be useful to me but too bad since the ender dragon wants this human dead.

I charged once again and the human ready his spear. He thrust his spear forward. I tried to parry the attack but it managed to pierce through my left shoulder.

It seems this human still has a little bit of strength in him but it doesn't matter. He is finally within my reach.

I grabbed him with hands and concentrated.

His armor is still in good shape and he keeps on repairing them which means he still has plenty of levels to spend on mending. I'll have to break his armor first before I can kill him.

As my hands were about to explode, I can hear something spitting towards me.

I quickly jumped back and managed to evade a green substance.

The liquid began smoking on the ground and looks like it is a poison.

I scanned the surroundings to see who attacked me.

A woman who is wearing a white robe is standing on top of a burnt house.

Human? No, there is something different about her.

I don't know who this being is but I can feel that she is a lot more experience than me in battle. I don't want to fight her unnecessarily since I still have a lot of things to do.

I stared at the human in front of me who is now using his spear to help him stand.

'It seems this is his lucky day.' I said in my mind.

I decided to fall back for now and hopped on top of my ghast.

I then flew towards the forest to get back to the castle leaving a burnt village and lots of dead humans behind me.

******* Sisilla's POV *******

There are four things a wise man fear in this world.

Traveling in the sea while storming.

A night with no moon.

The wrath of a good man and most importantly;

Attacking an undead fortress in the middle of the night.

My quest to get rid of all the monsters on this side of the world is not doing well so far.

I gracefully lose with the giant slime in the swamp since that thing just keeps on absorbing slimes around him and just won't die. I decided to fall back for now and just choose another monster to attack.

There is no turning back now.

I burnt my house in the swamp to the ground that I have been living for a long time. I really hated that house since it is a reminder that I was once undead and can't walk in daylight without covering myself.

I also killed my skeleton horse since he no longer listens to me and buried him in the ground. It seems he knows that I am no longer undead. I just tamed another horse that I managed to stumbled when I was running in the territory of the skeletons.

I am now on top of a mountain staring at the skeleton fortress in the distance.

I turned around and made sure to hide my horse and cat so the skeletons won't find them.

I then placed a TNT on the ground and ignite the fuse with a flint and steel.

I kicked the TNT so hard and it is now flying towards the fortress.

A great explosion occurred and the whole area is now shaking a little bit from the blast.

Holes in the fortress suddenly appeared and skeletons holding a stone pickaxes walked out. It seems this fortress don't have any doors whatsoever.

Thousands of skeletons then started pouring out of the fortress and I began to smile very brightly.

I can feel my new thin clothing is starting to wave before thousands of monster running towards the top of the mountain.

I drink all of the battle potions I have in my inventory and quickly wore my diamond armor.

It is now time for a beautiful dance.

I charged at the skeletons and began punching them into pieces.

I laughed and dance while tearing through my enemies.

I was having so much fun when suddenly a great explosion occurred in the fortress and lots of stones started flying all over the place.

The stones that are flying managed to hit and kill some of the skeletons and I just punch away the stones that are moving towards me.

I can see a giant skeleton walking out in the huge hole in the fortress. It seems that the monster just decided to punch his way out. He needs to build a door to that fortress.

The giant skeleton is now walking towards me.

All of the skeletons around me started to fall back and I am now face to face with a legendary monster while being surrounded with thousands of undead monsters.

"It has been a long time, Zane. How are you been?" I said to the giant skeleton.

"Your voice. No, it is impossible. All of the heroes of the past died by the hands of the mother." Zane said while lowering his giant iron sword.

He can't see my face with my helmet but it seems that he still managed to identify me.

"Well, I did die perse but it seems that destiny has still had plans for me," I said to him while preparing to charge.

"Fool! You should have stayed dead!" The giant skeleton shouted to me while raising his sword high and then swinging it down.

I laughed once again and it looks like this will be a long night.
