******* Carolus' POV *******

It is past noon and we are still traveling at full speed.

Rose is taking the lead and we are galloping beside the vast water on the side. The giant river is now turned into an ocean. I really need a map of the world right now since I don't know where I'm exactly am I. I don't really fancy on just relying on Rose for navigation.

'Dammit, Rose. Take it easy with the horses.' I said to my mind while watching Rose forcing her horse to run very fast.

There is also about the matter of Rose shining for a second and having her curse gone. I'll probably need to ask Queen Thea or Sisilla about this since both of them have my ender chests.

"Let's stop for now," I said to Rose while stopping my horse from running.

Rose also stopped and steered her horse around. She started traveling towards me while I'm dismounting my horse.

"What are you doing? We are about a torch away from the border." Rose quickly said to me while staring on top of her horse.

Rose said that we are only a torch away which means we are only about two hours away from her kingdom. It is good and all but I need to send a message first.

The sun in the sky is now starting to bother me so I just built a temporary waiting shed, for now, to tie in the horses and have shade from the sun.

Rose is still complaining and I just ignored her while placing an ender chest on the ground.

"What is that?" Rose finally stopped protesting and asked me a question.

"An ender chest. It has multiple uses and I can explain them to you but not right now." I said to her while opening the cover of the ender chest.

A window appeared in front of me and I was actually shocked that they are something inside of it.

There are two letters.

I quickly picked both letters and opened the first one.

The first message is from Queen Thea. It is really long and there are a lot of pages.

'King Carolus.

I hope that you can read this message as early as possible since you said that we can communicate with this magical chest.

There is a matter of urgency about Arthur and the sudden change in his status. He said that he is granted gifts from the Goddess and I believe him but my people do not. I was hoping you can give us an insight about was just happened

The details about what just happened will be written in the next pages.

I was about to read the rest of Queen Thea's message when I noticed the last writing after Queen Thea's name.

Dammit, Sisilla. Leave my personal message alone. I should probably teach Queen Thea how to encrypt a message and also teach Sisilla how to not read other people's letters.

I didn't think of this when I gave both of them my ender chests. Of course, everyone that has one will be able to access everything inside this chest. I should be careful from now on.

I managed to read the rest of Queen Thea's message and it seems that the same thing happened with Arthur. He probably has the same curse as Rose and Sisilla.

Damn. I thought Arthur was just some ex-soldier of some kind and didn't notice that he is something more.

Queen Thea is also asking for my advice about how to handle the situation which, to be frank, I also don't have any idea what is going on.

I just started writing a reply for Queen Thea and stored it on the ender chest. I also wrote a book on how to write an encrypted message and ask Queen Thea to read it and destroy it after.

The matter of Queen Thea is probably handled so it is now time to open the second letter.

Hello there!

You are probably mad about me reading the first letter. Don't worry, I promise it won't happen again. I wrote you a letter to tell you that it is now finally time to face our destiny but you already knew that don't you?

It seems that we will be seeing each other again in the near future along with Rose and the other two people. It is very fun to finally get back into action. I will take care of the monsters in this forest in the meantime while you talk with this "Prophet".

It is finally time to end the tyranny of monsters and stop the ender dragon once and for all. Hope you will lead us this time.

I don't know how to react with Sisilla's letter.

Sisilla is saying some things I don't understand but I didn't ignore it this time and just keep it on my mind.

I really don't have a solid plan right now aside from talking to this 'Prophet'. I just have to go there for now and find out for myself.

Sisilla is also saying that I'll have to lead them. Lead them to what? Battling all the monsters in the world and the ender dragon? Well, good luck with that. I can't even leave a permanent scratch on a single legendary monster. I know she is a little bit crazy but this is insane.

I didn't write a reply and just put away Sisilla's letter in the chest for now and tear down the temporary waiting shed.

I ordered to start traveling again so I can finally find my answers to all to my questions.

Rose and I traveled in silence for a while.

We finally saw something in the distance like a wall or something.

"Wait. That wall was not there before." I can hear Rose saying something while keeping her eyes forward.

We are starting to get closer until we are in front of a really tall stone wall and an iron gate. The wall is about the same height as my castle wall.

Interesting, I didn't know that there is someone in this world that have enough resources to be able to build a wall that stretches so far. I can't see the edge in the southwest so I can't really know how long is this wall. It also stretches endlessly in the north.

The people on top of the wall notices us and ready their weapons.

Great. The usual greeting that I always encountered.

I was about to ready my weapon when suddenly one of the people on the top of the wall shouted at us.

"Who dares approach the great wall of Aezeokar?"

Okay.

"Rose," I said Rose's name while staring at the people on top of the wall.

I didn't equip a weapon in my hand but I didn't let my guard down.

"My name is Rose Cromwell. Lady of the Eastern Border and niece of the king. I order you to open this gates immediately." Rose quickly said to the person who is asking us a question.

The person who I believe in charge of the wall didn't reply to what Rose just said and just continued staring at us.

"You are lying. Lady Rose is dead."

Great. Of course, they going to assumed that she is dead since she is missing for a long time.

What to do now?

I can see Rose is equipping an iron bow in her hands and all of the people on top of the wall raises their weapons to prepare to fire.

I was about to wear my armor and hold a weapon to prepare to defend ourselves when suddenly Rose raises the weapon over her head and letting the people on top of the wall sees it.

All of them turn quite while they stare at Rose's iron bow.

"What the... Open... Uhm... Open the gates!" The person in charge is in shock after seeing Rose's bow. He fumbled for a while until he finally ordered to open the gates.

The iron door in front of us, about the same size in my castle, slowly opened.

Rose looked at me for a moment before kicking her horse to move it forward.

I don't know what just happened so I just moved my horse and followed Rose.

I can see lines of soldiers on the sides. They are in perfect line and they are standing straight. They are also ordinary citizens gathering behind the soldiers. It feels like I am at a festival and we are in a procession.

It is really weird but I just keep myself calm and just observe my surroundings.

I noticed something strange here.

All of the soldiers here are wearing an iron armor and wielding an iron weapon. Considering what I just noticed in Queen Thea's army, they only got a little bit amount of iron but it seems that the Kingdom of Aezeokar is rolling in with irons. They probably have a stable supply of iron somewhere or they already have this much in the first place but the way Rose is reacting right now, it seems that it is her first knowing about this.

I just keep my thoughts to myself for now and just follow Rose to wherever she is going.

******* Legendary Creeper's POV *******

I have taken over this castle in the center of the forest.

It took quite a bit of explosion before I managed to have a peace talk between the pigmen and wither skeletons.

I managed to convince them to stop fighting and unite themselves to fight a common enemy. Convincing them was easy since they recently fought with a powerful human and said human managed to kill hundreds on both sides.

I also asked for them to garrison this castle in the overworld for now so we can use this as a temporary gateway to transport resources and my future army.

I am standing on top of the west wall of the castle.

I stared at the vast horizon and after a moment I jumped towards the sky to ride the ghast that I managed to tame in the nether.

I steered my mount forward and we are now flying above the trees.

My destination is a little further on the west just about the edge of the forest.

I managed to reach the place and I started to remember what happened here.

This place is a giant graveyard.

Thousands of people died here defending the world from monsters but they died for nothing.

They bleed and died on a grassy field and was buried on the place they fell upon.

All of the people here were ripped from their families and was forced to fight a losing a battle. It is time for them to wake up and take revenge to the humans who wrong them.

I held my hand in front of me and concentrated.

My hands expanded a little bit and a giant explosion occurred.

A crack appeared in front of me and black smoke is slowly pouring in the hole.

The place below me is now filled with black smoke.

After a moment, multiple explosions occurred everywhere on the ground and I just continued observing.

Most of the trees below are now obliterated from the explosions and they are now a lot of craters on the ground.

I can see that they are something crawling out in the holes.

They looked different than me and they don't have arms and instead of having two long legs, they have four and they are so short. It doesn't matter what they looked like. What matters is that their desire for revenge.

I was disappointed that they are only about two hundred of them here. I was expecting thousands of them to be reborn but it seems that not a lot of them held a grudge against humanity.

It is not enough. I need more.

I ordered all of them to travel towards the castle.

I was about to leave when I suddenly can feel the presence of human beings.

They are close.

I know it is still too early to make myself known to the world but I want them dead.

I steered the ghast further in the west.
