《Minecraft: A New Beginning》Episode 24: Battle of Monsters (1)

******* Skeleton King's POV *******
I can hear the beautiful sounds of screaming in front of me.
I heard that there is a huge army of humans marching inside the forest so I quickly assemble my army and personally come to greet them.
They are trying to run away from me right now but I have already prepared my army in advance and surrounded them.
They got nowhere to run.
"That it humans! Come to this forest! Come to me! I welcome you with open arms!" I shouted at them and even though they can't see me because of the darkness, at least they can hear my voice.
They trembled in my voice and began to fight my army with everything they got.
They managed to organize their army and form a battle line.
We are now back to the oldest rule of this world.
'The weak succumb to the strong.'
I can see less than a thousand of them in the camp. They probably lost quite a little bit of soldiers during the siege.
This is still not enough soldiers to join my ranks to help me conquer the world but this is still a huge addition to my army.
My soldiers charged and fought the army head-on.
Both sides have heavy casualties but the humans managed to hold out and halted my entire army on all sides.
I decide to fight them myself and started walking to the front.
"Haha! Humans! Fight for your survival! Fight to the death!" I shouted at them and began to swing my giant sword to the enemy lines.
A portion of their shield wall has been broken and about 50 of them died in a single swing.
My soldiers didn't miss this chance and charge in the gap of their defenses.
It didn't take long for them to be overrun.
Now, it is a matter of time before all of them fall.
Good.
I am now much closer to my dream.
My scouts said that there are still 2 armies left in the west and south of this castle but I didn't bring enough soldiers to fight two armies let alone three so I decided to just take on the northern army. I also don't want to stay here any longer since I don't want to anger the human living in that castle and start an unnecessary war.
I also heard that the queen of the giant spiders is also amassing his spiderlings out of their territory. She probably also wants these humans for food instead of turning them into skeletons like me.
I can see the remaining humans fighting my army to death.
The humans are now almost spent and all of them will now die and their bodies collected back to the fortress.
I was about to leave after harvesting my spoils but I suddenly heard an explosion on the east side of the castle.
'Hmm. What is happening there?'
I began to wonder and decided to see what is and started walking in that direction and orders most of my army to walk with me.
******* Queen Arachne's POV *******
Foolish humans.
I can see my children tearing all of them into pieces around me.
Why would they leave the safety of their homes and come in this forest?
"Go ahead, my children! Slaughter them all! Remind them what this forest really is!" I shouted at them and the moment they heard my voice, all of them began to attack more furiously.
The humans just run in all directions and didn't bother to fight back but they are in the middle of the Forest of Monsters. Even if they run with all they had, they can't outrun us and we can see them perfectly in the darkness.
I watch the pieces of humans lie on the ground.
There are so many foods here.
I can feed all of my children and my future children with this.
I have to get them all.
"My children! Don't let any of them get away!" I quickly shouted at them to make sure the humans will not get out of this forest.
Thousands of my children are now in this area of the forest chasing to whoever runs away from them.
The humans riding horses managed to distance away from us but they are days or weeks away before they can get out of this forest and my children can travel all week long without rest. It is just a matter of time before I could get them all.
I was hesitant to approach King Carolus' territory with an army of giant spiders but I can no longer take the actions of the humans. They can't just stroll along this forest like they own this place. I'll just have to give him gifts collected from these humans to quell his wrath.
I can see a group of humans who managed to defend themselves and killed a quite bit of my children.
They form a rectangular shape and managed to defend themselves with all the slaughter.
There are about 200 of them.
I jump high up in the air and landed on top of their battle lines and managed to break their formations.
I killed all the soldiers within my reach and killed who I believed the leader of this army.
Now, these humans are totally hopeless.
They are now leaderless and powerless.
I was about to revel in my victory when I suddenly hear an explosion on the side of the castle.
I don't know what it is so I decided to check on it and began traveling towards the castle bringing along most of my children.
******* Carolus' POV *******
'What is going here?'
'Why there are so many people in my castle?'
'Why are the giant zombie and his entire horde of zombies are attacking this castle?'
I got so many questions in my mind.
I managed to push through the zombie pigmen and wither skeletons in the nether and managed to get home.
I destroyed the portal by taking one obsidian in it and began mining my way out of this room.
After breaking two obsidian blocks, I was greeted by Peyton who is standing outside the portal room.
He explained quite a lot of shocking things but didn't get the chance to tell all of them since some people from their group panting their way here and delivered bad news.
I quickly run outside towards the east wall pass the people I haven't meet.
They were shocked to see and even tried to assault me but I just ignored them.
The woman who delivered the news said that there is also a giant zombie slowly heading towards here.
I can feel the tremor on the ground of every footstep of the giant and prepared the bow to fire an explosive arrow.

I nock the arrow and aim at the general direction of what I believed the location of the giant zombie.
I lose the arrow and waited.
An explosion occurred after a while and I'm confident that I managed to hit something.
The ground suddenly shook after a while.
There is suddenly cheering around me. I ignored them and just start running towards the east wall.
I tried to jump to get on top of the wall and managed to land safely.
I was surprised that I can now jump this high. I am now getting faster and stronger from all the fighting in the nether though I don't know why.
I can see the giant zombie on the ground and immediately jump on top of him.
There are a lot of zombies on the field who are now slowly walking towards me but thankfully the people on top of the ramparts and towers fire arrows at them.
I take out an eye of ender in my inventory to see what will happen if I use it the way the zombie pigman lord did.
I don't know why I feel like trying this out now since I'm in a middle of fighting but I suddenly heard a whisper in my ear and decided to listen to it.
I held it in my hand and pointed at him.
I waited for a moment until suddenly the eye of ender breaks down and turned into dust.
There suddenly a status window appeared in front of me.

**************
Whoa!
What is this?
It is like a status menu of an RPG game.
It is like my status menu but with more information.
Wait. Is this what the pigman lord did to me? Look at my status? What did he see?
I can find out later.
I have to focus here.
This guy here has an age of 689. I assumed this is in years since there is no indicator.
Wow. This zombie has lived for a very long time.
He also has a race of 'Legendary Zombie'. What's the difference with a regular zombie?
His status also says his healthy even though I can see plenty of arrows stuck in his body and I managed to blow up his face.
Well, this is not a surprise since he has 50 hearts of health.
Goodness, gracious.
I should not be surprised since this is probably the boss of all zombies.
He only received only one heart of damage and is now slowly healing. I quickly peek through the status window to see that his face is now beginning to take shape again.
I just ignored him and continue observing his status.
I can see that he has a lot of abilities.
There are also levels on them but I don't know if this is a big number or not since this is my first time knowing about this but his heat, cold and poison resistance is max so I assumed they are a maximum level to his abilities.
What really surprised me is that he has a list of gifts by the ender dragon.
What are these gifts? What is the ender dragon have to do with it and why is her name on it?
I was about to carefully read the rest of the giant zombie's status when suddenly he started moving.
He moved his hand toward me probably trying to grab me since I can't see any fingers on his hands.
I quickly throw an ender pearl at the distance to get out here and plan to slowly lure him away from the castle.
My body suddenly felt like it is being crushed and I'm now at the place where the ender pearl landed.
Thankfully, none of my ender pearl teleportations so far managed to deduct my health but it is still slightly painful. I assured myself that I will get used to this eventually.
I turned around to face the giant zombie and can see that he is slowly starting to rise.
Some of the zombies near me also started to approach me.
I'm in the middle of the zombie horde now and thankfully the hail of arrows stopped coming from the castle wall. Arthur or whoever in charge there probably ordered to stop firing to avoid hitting me.
I tried to focus on the giant zombie who is now on his feet and slowly walking towards me but I'm really distracted with the number of zombies around me that is now trying to kill me.
They are easy to kill but I can't see the end of them and it is really hard to see in the darkness.
I quickly pulled out a splash of night vision VI in my inventory and throw it to the ground.
The bottle breaks and I now have 6 hours of night vision in my status.
I can now see the surroundings like I'm walking in the sunlight.
There are a lot of zombies here and I can't even begin to count them.
There are probably thousands of them here.
God.
I don't know how long before the sun rises in the sky.
How long will I have to hold out?
I can also begin to see a giant skeleton slowly walking in the distance towards here coming from the north.
'What is he doing in here!?' I shouted in my mind.
I can also see a giant spider coming towards here from the south.
Oh no.
Please don't tell me that she is here to attack me too.
I thought my trip to the nether was bad.
This is so much worse here in the overworld.

Post War Rules
Life on Torus Terminal is usually fast paced, but simple. A frontier Terminal has little room for easy living, but the great, circular station does boast shopping and culinary experiences from many Imperial races and cultures. Any star is, by its nature, extremely far from its neighbors. But laser highways, and the great shimmering sails of the light-rider spaceships make the trip into only about ten years. Still, the denizens of Torus Terminal eagerly await the day when the Anti-Euclidean Engine their station is built around finally comes online. Once that is done, they will have unfettered access to the entire Empire. Instantaneous travel and trade across hundreds of stars. Torus Terminal does boast one other oddity: a creature which calls itself Human. As he says, the last of his kind for now. He has made quite the life for himself on Torus Terminal, especially in the darker corners of the station. The elites of Torus Terminal praise his name, for once he took up arms, crime began to fall. What they did not realize was that was because he had claimed the seedy underbelly of Torus Terminal for himself and his own goals. The elites praise him as a paragon of law. The criminals fear him as a ruthlessly clever crime boss. Those closest to him, know him as the General. This story was originally posted on the Humanity Fuck Yeah subreddit, where it evolved from a simple play on a historical figure in a science fiction setting into a full blown space opera. I kind of took it as an opportunity to explore a setting I've had rolling around in my head for years. I also decided that it would be nice to have it in a place where I could more easily come back and edit it later, so I'm reposting it here. Here's a link to the original posting if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/comments/e9cwpl/post_war_rules/ If my genre and tagging is subpar, let me know. I'm still new to Royal Road and I'm open to help. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, or discuss. I love comments, and so long as we keep things civil I also love criticism.

His Trophy | Jerome Valeska
"Oh and Jim, Jim Gordon?" Jerome peered into the camera as if to yell out to an audience: "I have Rory here," he turned the camera towards Jim's daughter and revealed to the audience a girl that had been beaten and tormented, she was gaged and her eyes didn't look at the camera but above the lens; at Jerome who was holding the camera."Say hi to Daddy, doll face," he jeered from behind the camera. She looked down the lens and shook her head as if to tell Jim not to try. The camera went back to Jerome."She's a beauty isn't she, Jimbo," Jerome smirked into the camera, his laughter becoming harsh and wild: "and she's all mine, you try anything, and I mean anything, I kill her. She's my prisoner, my reward, and you're not taking her away from me Jimmy boy, on no, not this time" his words were spoken through waves of laughter.***Rory Gordan is the stepdaughter of Jim Gordon. Her mother moved a lot so Rory was born in Gotham City but raised in England and from the age of 10 she had been bouncing from one country to another with her mother. It was when she was visiting her long term boyfriend when her life got flipped upside down, not only did she meet one of the craziest boys on the planet, but she discovered that she had a gift that would curse her forever. This story is a collection of scenes rather than a flowing plot, so its chronological but it skips scenes and jumps back and forth between different perspectives. The story is under editing, so it'll get more cohesive over time.••• I do not own any characters or plot lines from the tv show.
