《My Birthday Wish to be a Dungeon Master was Granted!》Chapter 25: Departing the Dungeon!

“Wha-!?”
Obviously, if one wants to meet the king of a country, they’d have to go through the proper procedures first, but seeing that the golem was able to knock out the hero in just a moment, there is already plenty of reason to have an audience. Well, this is not the main problem, but the problem is why I would like to directly meet the king. Not me of course, but the proxy golem, might as well name the golem Proxy.
“Of course, if you don’t want to do that, I’ll just have to keep on defending my dungeon from the attackers, Even if it were you. Furthermore, this dungeon will become a killing machine if the attackers want to have my head. I doubt the numbers of casualties will stay in the lower digits.”
I know that making a threat right now is disadvantageous, but I have to make myself clear what the outcome will be if they continue diving for my life. With [Create Entity], my dungeon can become an impenetrable fortress. I can also change this dungeon cave into a dungeon castle or tower to make it look daunting.
Looking at the screen, I can see the conflicted face of the soldier commander. If I’m not mistaken, his name should be Kelm Corn right? He looks to be in his mid-thirties. On his waist, a sharpened sword could be seen dangling. He was wearing light armor in contrast to his huge body, maybe about 1.95 m in height?
In other words, he is a giant.
Name: Kelm Corn
Race: Human
Age: 33
Level: 58
Class: Warrior
Skills:
[Swordsmanship] 6
[Shield Techniques] 3
[Body Tempering] 5
[Bow Techniques] 3
[Voice Amplification] 3
[Discerning Eyes] Max (Hidden)
[Hide Status] 9
So this is how a commander in command of a battalion inside a town, stats looks like. No wonder they were afraid of the hero. If they were to fight, Kelm will undoubtably lose. But what is with that [Discerning Eyes] skill?
[Discerning Eyes] – Has a 1 out of 10000000 chance to be obtained during birth, can view information about the target party when eyes are focused on the target.
So it just works like appraisal, I wonder what is the difference between appraisal and [Discerning Eyes]? There is also the skill [Hide Status].

[Hide Status] – The user can hide the desired information on the status board using this skill, cannot hide from information gathering abilities levelled higher than this skill.
Looks like he doesn’t want his [Discerning Eyes] skill be known to the public. I can tell what the hero and the king would do if they heard about this.
Anyway, back to the present, it seems that Kelm was still conflicted on what to do. Luckily for me, another soldier stepped forward and gave his opinion.
“I say we let him meet the king. If that power-hungry king were to see someone being able to defeat a strong hero, he just might reward us for our efforts in scouting said talent.”
You know, even if you were whispering, I can still hear it. Thanks to Proxy of course.
“Fine, dungeon master, we will escort you to the royal capital. Don’t show your true body, you might regret going there, just send a proxy.”
“I understand.”
Looks like Kelm surrendered and nodded in agreement. Not doing anything in this situation just calls for their heads to fly off.
“Everybody get ready to depart!”
With a thundering shout that can shake the area echoed, the soldiers began hurrying to pack up the things they brought. So that’s the use of the [Voice Amplification] skill.
“Listen up, when you meet the king, under no circumstance are you to say that you are just a proxy. If they test out your body whether it is your own or just controlled, just say that this is your true body. I know this is just a golem thanks to my skill, but only I know. Nobody here in this place knows except for me, so don’t do anything that could expose your self.”
“I understand.”
Somehow, I feel like I respect him because of his worries about me.
“I hope they don’t find out that this is just a proxy. If the king learns about this, my head will fly. Damn it… This damn hero…”
… I take that back… It looks like he is just worrying about his own life. Well, I can understand wanting to preserve your own life since I am human. But don’t you know that I could hear you via this golem right? I guess he didn’t know what range the golem can hear clearly using his skill.

“Please excuse me for a moment. Let me bring along some things I need for the travel.”
“Come back in at least an hour!”
I made Proxy wave his hand while entering the cave. First, I’m making sure that the transmission can reach over long distances if ever the capital is out of reach. Next is strengthening Proxy. If trouble arises, I don’t want them gaining the technology on how to create this type of golem, also a self-destruct feature that will only destroy the body. The self-destruct mechanism will only disintegrate the body thus there will be no harm to the surroundings.
Another one is the feature for intake and outtake. I want Proxy to be just like a human in terms of biology to fool the king and the others if they want to analyze the body. Last are the countermeasures against information scanning abilities, I don’t want the race to be exposed and let the king know that I sent a proxy instead of my real self.
Now that upgrading Proxy is done, next is to pack food for the travel for the sake of appearances. Also, a little bit of money to bring souvenirs back home if ever there are any chances. There might be some items there that may pique my interest and also help in gathering information about this world like books and the like.
By the way, I can also use [Create Entity] to create books. The only problem is that the book is blank. I don’t know why, but it also seems like the golems don’t know any information about the outside world. That is one reason why I need to buy books for information.
Finally, the preparations are done, last is to send Proxy out. I also made an AI for whenever I am not controlling him. Accompanying him are two golems that looks like humans. They have the same features, except that they look like two bodybuilder men. When the soldiers saw this, they looked at them in amazement while the others trembled in fear. I feel you, if I see a mass of muscle walking towards you with a giant sword at their back, I just might get the urge to run and hide.
“I-I see that you have brought company.”
Kelm had a twitching smile plastered on his face. By the way, here are the stats of Proxy and the golems.

Those are three statuses. Looking at it now, I think the hero will have a hard time against those three in actual combat.
“Please wait for about 10 more minutes. We are almost finished packing up the camp.”
When he said that, I had the three go around while gathering information. The three’s vision and hearing are directly connected to my computer I made using [Create Entity]. They are automatically recorder just like a 24/7 surveillance camera.
“All right, are you three ready?”
10 minutes later, Kelm came back and asked the three if they were ready to go.
“Of course.”
“Well then, let’s depart.”
Since there was no merit in wasting time, the army left, along with the three golems and the fainted hero. Of course, to prevent any disturbances, the hero was chained up by the proposal of Proxy, or more precisely, mine.
While looking at the monitor, I heard a loud wail coming from the back of the core room.
“UWAAAHHH!!!! MASTER!!!! MASTER!!!!”
Oh shit… I forgot I locked up Shironeko inside a prison cell…

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
