Right now... I am in a pinch... In my bed... There is a monster... A cute monster... She is strangling me to death... I can see my life flash before my eyes... Is this the so-called revolving lantern? This is actually pretty nice... Wait... Stop showing me my dark past!!! No!!! Not me wearing a cape pretending to be a dungeon master!!! Stop it!!!
*****
Hours earlier...
After the deaths of the thugs, I gained 5000 DP. Each thug generated 20 DP per day. So it turned into 100 DP per day. And upon death, I gain ten times the value of the daily DP income of said man. Meaning 1000 DP for each thug. Right now, I have 5420 DP. I plan to add one more floor to my dungeon. I opened the Dungeon Management tab and took a look at the price.
Add Floor - 1000 DP
It costs 1000 DP to add one floor. Even if I add one floor, I'll still have 4420 DP left over so I didn't spend another second waiting to add another floor to my dungeon. When I selected the Add Floor option, the dungeon shook for a few seconds and returned to normal. When I opened the Dungeon Statistics tab, the new status of the dungeon appeared.
Dungeon Name: Nameless
Dungeon Master: Yanagi Daichi
Dungeon Level: 1
Dungeon Type: Normal
Dungeon Difficulty: G
Dungeon Age: 0
Floors: 2
Number of Rooms: 4
Intruder Count; Daily: 5
Weekly: 5
Intruders Killed: 5
Monsters Lost: 7
Daily DP Income: 150
My daily DP income increased by 50. Maybe because of the slave. Also, when adding a new floor, it comes with a 500 DP room. And the Dungeon Difficulty changed to G. If I compare this to the novels and manga I read about fantasy and isekai, it's probably the lowest difficulty. But this is just a speculation, not the real difficulty of the dungeon. I mean, take a look at the thugs earlier, if this dungeon has the lowest dungeon speculation, then why were they annihilated? That's the logic I came up with anyway.

Back to the topic, I still have 4420 DP so I added 3 kobold spawners and 2 goblin spawners. The spawners total DP expense equaled 1300 DP, and now, I am left with 3120 DP. I added two new rooms and two passageways connecting the three rooms. The expansion costs 2000 DP. I have 1120 DP left over so I saved it and moved some spawners to the new rooms. Namely the 2 goblin spawners to the first room and 1 slime and 1 kobold spawner to the second room. Why a slime and a kobold you ask? Well, the two has great chemistry. The kobold used their slings to catapult the slime onto the enemy and while the enemy is distracted, the kobolds attack them. And also, I will research the slime because when I appraised one slime, this came out.
Species: Slime
Name: Nameless
Type: Normal
Level: 1
Evolution Points: 0/100
I'm gonna research on how slime gain evolution points and what will happen to the slime when the evolution points max out.
Just when I finished expanding my dungeon, the slave woke up and stared at me.
“Muuu.....”
“Oh, you're awake?”
Maybe because of her slave upbringing, she immediately stood up and bowed.
“Please forgive me, master. Please do as you like to me and my body.”
This little girl just said something outrageous. I slowly walked towards her. She didn't want to show it but she is trembling slightly. When I got in front of her, she undressed.
“Oi oi! Put your clothes back on!! I'm not into little girls!”
Maybe because I shouted, she inched back and trembled in fear. She then hurriedly put back her clothes and did a dogeza. Seriously? How are slaves treated here?
“Please forgive me. Please forgive me. Please forgive me.”
She repeated her apologies three times before she shut up. For now, I accessed the Dungeon Market and took a look at the items. Damn... Still tattered rags. It's the same as what she's wearing.

“You, do you have a name?”
I asked her a question and she replied immediately while still dogezaing. Just how are slaves treated here?
“I have no name because I am just an animal.”
Okay... I have no retort to that. Just how was she treated by her previous master. That's just horrible.
“For now, stop your dogeza and sit here.”
I accessed the Dungeon Management tab and created a chair and table for 35 DP. I then bought some sushi because I thought she would like fish because she's a cat. I then placed it on the table and urged her to come and eat. She silently stood up and slowly walked towards the table. She took a seat and waited for further orders.
“Hm? Aren't you going to eat?”
“Slaves aren't supposed to eat with the same table as master.”
Man slave life is harsh.
“Don't worry. Please eat until you're full. I made this for you.”
“For... Me...?”
She whispered something I didn't hear and slowly took the fork. She didn't use chopsticks because maybe she doesn't know how to use them. She pierced through the fish and guided it to her mouth. She then took a bite and started chewing.
“Nom nom... Delicious...”
Without her noticing it, tears rolled down her cheek. She then vigorously ate the food I gave her as she continued crying.
“Are you still hungry?”
When I asked her that, she nodded vertically and I bought another serving of sushi. After she finished eating, she put down the fork and stared at my direction.
“Thank... You... Sniff...”
She expressed her gratitude for the food to me.
“You know, I am not your master.”
When I said that phrase, she stiffened up and began crying. She then did a dogeza and requested me to make her my slave.
“Pl- please, make me your slave! I don't want another master except you!”
She then expressed her feelings about being my slave. Hmm... What should I do?
“Do you want to stop being a slave?”
When she heard that, the slave twitched before giving me a response.
“No. I want to be master's!”
She really wants to be my slave, huh? Well, I don't have another choice so accepted her request.
“Okay... But how do I become your owner.”
“Put a drop of your blood on the slave collar and the contract will be complete.”
I then bit my finger and pointed hovered it over the collar. My blood dripped down and landed on the collar.
“You, do you want to have a name?”
“!? Yes!!”
“Then... How about Shironeko?”
“Shiro-neko... Yes! I am Shironeko!”
“Then from now on, your name will be Shironeko!”
“Yes!!”
Mann... That was embarrassing!!! Me saying something a chunni would say! But anyway all's well that ends well!!”
*****
When we were about to sleep, Shironeko wanted to sleep together with me. Not in the erotic way mind you!!! I accepted because I wanted to treat her as a hug pillow.
~1 hour later~
“I-- I can't breathe!!!”
Instead of treating her as a hug pillow, I became the hug pillow. And she is literally squeezing the air out of me. Man this girl is strong.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
