《Void shifter》Chapter 25 Electricity

After a couple of weeks of hunting and healing, Shade was healed and fed but she still decided to stay around the general area of the hut. When she approaches I feed her more and release some dopamine in her brain, not enough for it to become addicted but enough for her to enjoy her time with me. Shade has quickly become a friend of mine and I am slowly modifying her body so it is stronger but I notice that Shade is still growing so I don't change too much as to not get in the way of the development. I just make the muscle and ligaments more flexible and efficient, I remove all the impurities from her body and improve her nerves system. I also change the bone structure as well. Like most birds, Shade’s bones are hollow to reduce weight so I made the bones in a honeycomb structure without increasing the overall weight.
Over the weeks I have also been practicing my throwing knives technique and crossbow skills using the same method as before with the moving target, but now I am also moving while trying to shoot multiple targets, switching between a crossbow and throwing knives. With this training, my technique and accuracy have greatly improved.
At the moment I was practicing my control over my individual cells. Remembering how I dealt with the alpha wolf I have been trying to ‘will’ my blood to move, strengthen and form into weapons as a collective. So far I have made the blood into various solidified liquid weapons and forms, such as a scythe, sword, and an ax. While none are as strong as fluffy, yet they are more flexible and have a higher utility in combat. For example, if I could make a blood sword and turn it to its liquid state during a fight I could pass a guard with ease and attack. Or I could develop the idea and try to use acid but that was a long way off yet.

While my blood was strengthened by ‘willing’ it to not move and to stay in place, it could take a single punch at 75% of my power. Which does not sound like a lot but it could take a few hits from ‘Mr big sword’ with ease.
Once I was done with my experimenting for the day I went to the river to remove all the toxins, waste and impurities from my cells. I went to the river because removing all the shit from my body makes a fucking mess that smells horrible as it leaves my body through my pores.
Submerging myself in the river I go into a meditation like state while I remove toxins, waste, and impurities from my cells. I have been doing this since the day I made the hut so about 2 weeks and I have only done from my feet up to half way up my lower leg. Which may seem slow but I am cleaning and improving each individual cell, so in my opinion, I was doing fine.
All was going well until I was bitten, injected with venom and shocked with what felt like a million volts going through my body.
With my nervous system being overridden by the electricity, I begin to lose control of my body as the cells revert back to their natural state, which means they are spreading out and no longer connecting. [Haha this hasn't happened before, a bit of an inconvenience I must admit. I hope I don't Die there is still shit I want to do. Oh, and did I mention this hurts? Because this REALLY FUCKING HURTS. IT FEELS LIKE I AM BEING FISTED BY ZEUS AND HE FORGOT THE FUCKING LUBE.]
With the biological control gone from my cell, I begin to ‘will’ them into action. I move my vital organs away from the attacker and move my body mass into its mouth and head. Coinciding we are underwater I move the body mass down the head until I feel something resembling gills and clog them up. The body mass inside the mouth begins to expand albeit slowly due to the resistance. While this is happening I make a tube up to the surface of the water to provide myself with oxygen.

Myself and the unknown creature struggle around in the water for what felt like hours although it was most likely only about 30 seconds when the electricity slowly starts to lessen. With the electricity now gone I start to regain control of my body [My turn now bitch]. Not wanting to destroy the whole body so I could try and learn how to use the electricity I made all the body mass inside of its head and gills explode into bone spikes, killing it instantly.
with the creature dead I begin re-forming my body as I pull the creature out of the water and onto the land where I could see it properly. It looked like a giant brown snake 12 ft in length. But instead of scales, it has a rubbery looking brown skin with a black stripe going from head to tail and yellow spots on its body (Because all electricity using creatures need the color yellow. It like the ‘go faster stripe’ on a car.)
Inspecting the dead body I discover that it is a beast and I take its core. I also find a magical glad around an organ I have never seen before. Believing this is the source of the electricity, I replicate the organ and try to use it and sure enough, it creates an electrical charge. (electrolytes which are mainly responsible for producing current. The eel generates electricity by momentarily reversing the polarity of these cells which creates a sudden voltage difference. I don't know how to explain that in this context so there you go.)
Taking note of the cells that generate the electrical current I mass produced them inside my body. I eat the body and then go back inside the hut and activate them all at a lower voltage while willing my body to evolve by circulating the sludge through the areas most affected by the current. The myelin sheath (Insulator for the nerves) becomes thicker allowing less electricity to go into the nervous system. I grow conductors in my body given the voltage a path to flow through while insulating the rest of my body.
When I no longer feel the negative effects of the electricity I increase the voltage. After doing this 10 times I no longer feel any negative effects so I begin improving the generator cells parallel to my resistance.
After 2 days of trial and error with a lot of self-electrocution, I have done the best I can. Raising my hand up to my face I can see arcs of electricity dancing across my arm. [Hahaha so awesome, now I can be the one giving the Zeus fistings haha.] At this moment Shade comes over and looks at me.
Stopping the electricity I pet her on the head while saying “Yeah it's time to get us some food.” Smiling I sand up and head out of the hut [Time to play with my new toy.]

Beyond The Game (Abandoned)
Kaine sighed as his foe advanced once more, never letting up, barely giving him time to breathe. He pressed forward as well, excited and ready, welcoming the bloodshed that was to come. His short blade, meeting the bestial warrior's bone-made longsword. Their weapons clattering sound into each of their ears when they clashed. Kaine pushed, as did his foe, beginning the contest of strength. A dance which Kaine controlled the steps of. As their eyes met, both of them weary, but Kaine's expression was resolved...maddened almost. Whilst his foe's was fear-struck, the creature was terrified down to its core. As were its comrades which surrounded them, watching, waiting for an opening to have at Kaine themselves. Seeing many...but they faltered, as the dead had seen the same openings before. Their battered, broken and still freshly bleeding bodies laying sprawled about their surroundings. It is just one... One of them thought in shaken disbelief. Just...Just one man but he kills so many...smiling even! Glancing from the dead, and back at Kaine as he slew another. No...this is no man... Was its panicked conclusion. This one's a monster! As Kaine turned to face it, weapon ready and grinning widely throughout his approach.

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
