《Void shifter》Chapter 21 spontaneously creating life

A week has passed since I awoke and entered the forest. I have eaten so many animals and absorbed many abilities. I have a long barbed tongue with poison on it I took from frogs I also took the gills from allowing me to breathe underwater. I found a snake with Hemotoxic venom that goes for the bloodstream. Hemotoxic venom destroys red blood cells causing red blood cells to rupture, blood clotting, and also attacks other types of cells and tissues – causing profound tissue damage and often, organ failure, I put this poison in the empty chamber in my tail.
I find a monkey and copy its feet allowing me to climb better. After absorbing a spider I learn to make silk webbing, while adding another pair of eyes, one of each side of my head, giving me an enhanced peripheral vision which took me a while to get used to. As of now, I look like a scaled monkey with a scorpion tail and four eyes due to this I no longer wear clothes save for the thick shorts made from hair with a hole at the back for the tail.
I train my senses diligently by adding eyes in random places while training, causing my brain to have a small evolution. Due to finding a pit viper, I can now see infrared light by coping a sensor-lined membrane stretched above a pit between their eyes and nose. This allows me to see heat signatures.
I also improve my nervous system allowing for signals to travel faster and for improved reaction time as well as a better sense of touch and balance.
I have not gone deep into the forest yet only finding and fighting animals to gain their abilities so I can become stronger. In the future, I plan to find and hunt beasts, magically evolved animals, and monsters, born from magic and are typically stronger than beasts. I have found several entities, humanoid creatures resembling monsters such as the nasty green tasting creatures from before. Speaking of which I found several other hunting parties of the weak creatures and followed them to their camp deeper into the forest.

Turns out that the little green things are enslaved to a larger ‘tribe’. No surprise the green creatures with two arms are at the bottom of the hierarchy while the four arms are just above them. There are two other types of creatures in the main camp. Next in the hierarchy is a 6 foot tall muscled green creature with leathery looking skin. At the top of the hierarchy is a similar creature but they seem to have a type of bone amour. I have been trying to keep count of the entities so far I have seen 50 small greens, 30 four arms, 15 big greens and 5 bone greens with a bigger bone green in charge of the whole ‘tribe’.
The camp itself is not too impressive, the small greens sleep wherever they can find a place on the floor. The four arms sleep in little tent-like structures made from sticks and leaves while the big greens and bone greens sleep in mud huts with the bone greens having the bigger ones. The only real thing to take note of is the cages filled with a group of 14 sentients, intelligent humanoids such as humans elves dwarves gnomes etc. In the cage, there are 10 human 3 males, 7 female, and 4 elf females.
The past me who had his morals and remorse temporarily removed did not care. In fact, the only reason I was still in the weaker part of the forest with the animals was to look for a creature called a bat from Pauls world so I could hopefully gain echolocation. While It is from Paul's world, both our worlds have similar habitats minus the magic, so it stands to reason that a similar creature evolved the same way such as we both have snakes, spiders, frogs etc. But now my morals and remorse are back I plan to let the people out and have some fun with the entities while I am at it.

[Not sure what to do with the people. I will only save them because they are being used for breeding. If I free them I doubt they will make it far and I won't walk them back to civilization. They don’t have any meat on them so eating them is relatively pointless. Testing poison and venom on weakened targets would give false results. Testing hmm. My current purpose is to get stronger but overall I need to bring about chaos. An intelligent monster race could help with that.]
With a plan beginning to form in my mind, I wait until nightfall and kill everything in the camp with little noise as possible along with a pack of 24 wolves that got too close. To do this I poison the entities food stores with neurotoxic venom and then kill the ones still alive as they sleep.
I then make a pile of 139 corpses. First I Merge and condense all the body’s into 50 human-wolf hybrids with snake tails complete with venom. I then copy the rat's hair controlling ability to the body’s and give them long hair. I enhance all their senses and give them the snakes eye lenses to better see at both day and night. Growing another smaller pair of arms lower down on their body’s to help hold smaller weapons I also make half of the body’s female. Finally I copy the sentient brain structure to each an every creature while destroying and re-growing random parts of the hippocampus (a structure in the brain that has been associated with various memory functions. It is part of the limbic system, and lies next to the medial temporal lobe.) to erase memories but to try and keep them relatively intelligent. I also make sure the wolfs and green creatures instincts are heightened.
Bring them to life only took sending a signal through the nerves, inflating and deflating their lungs and beating their hearts forcefully until their bodies became self-sufficient. I leave before they fully wake up not wanting to have to kill the race I just created (They will turn up in the future).
After putting the sentient out of their misery and creating a new race it is time to focus on the real issue. Where the fuck are the bats? Having echolocation would be so useful. As I walk away from the camp the eyes of the new creature shot open showing a mixture of bloodlust and intelligence as they rise from the ground and take in their surroundings.
One, in particular, noticed a figure walking away, about to give in to the bloodlust the creature crouched down and prepared to give chase. Before it could act an eye grew on the back of the figures head and made eye contact. The creature froze as an intense wave of fear assaulted it followed by kinship. Faster than the creature could comprehend a tentacle shot out from the figure, touching it in between the eyes. The last thing the creature felt was a surge of power and pain before it passed out again.

8 1315The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
