Chapter 174 – Journal Entry 24: Two in One
After the visit with the mistress of the island, I went with Elena to check the field that I will be using. It is a big field, it is near a river, and there is a shed that is filled with tools I can use to clean up the land. Weeds, rock, branches and stray stones that are rather large oddly. I can use the scythe in the shed to clean up the weeds. I can somehow cut the branches up or throw them out of the way. As for the ones in the field that are rather large, I think I can use the pickaxe to lessen their size and throw them into the river, but the river is rather shallow so I guess I’ll stack them up near the shed along with the logs that I will somehow have to arrange.
This is good so far, my thoughts are already trying to find a way to clean up the field. Sooner or later I should be able to clean this field up without any problem. I can then till the tall, plant some crops that are in season, and wait for them to be reaped. The land is rather fat so there should be no worry. I wonder if I can talk about tilling the land with some of Elena’s golems, though did tell me that they cannot handle farming due to their natural roughness, I could let them till the land, but even so, I have to make sure they don’t damage it. But even if do somehow have them till the land, I have to pay up for their cores. Golem cores are easily extinguished, and Elena told me that they cost about five thousand gold just for repairs, another five thousand for maintaining them, adding to that you have to pay four thousand gold just to make they don’t have any damage. And not to mention that they are rather rough, meaning to say that you have to make sure they don’t damage themselves.

Maintaining golems are rather tough, and they are expensive to boot. Though mostly, they are suited for construction and pummeling monsters. Elena told me that they haven’t thought about configuring Golems into being able to handle delicate things such as taking care of crops.
Although I somehow question the golems primarily because of how they can do construction but not do farming well. But I suspect that they are just using the golems to carry heavy luggage or act as cranes for them. I might have to think before letting the golems enter my fields.
I smiled.
Somehow the thought of taking care of a field brings happiness to me.
Without memories, I could not know what it is like. But even so, I could see that my heart is pointed at taking care of a farm. It comes naturally to me and seeing the untilled land filled with outgrown weeds coupled with branches and rocks makes me excited.
...
Went back to the Inn to take some food, got myself involve listening to Rosetta singing a great one with her lute. The adventurers like staring at her play, and sing. Sat on the corner, made myself relax sipping on the fizzy juice that I usually drink lately now for some reason, or maybe because it is just great to drink. Reminds me of an old shop I use to visit near a bayou.
A bayou huh, I don’t remember but I swear there are automobiles, specifically I remember a ford one passing by me while I was sipping on that fine soda, then a vision of a signboard that seems to be a studio of some sort. I remember pondering, then take a note of it.
The vision ends there.
I awoke from that dream, vexed about my partial memories. Somehow I feel like I live in a world that was more advanced than this world, but sometimes a fragment of I tilling the land, with a man I call father appears with my memories.

Then a vision of a blonde haired woman, wearing an elegant noble dress, stretching her legs with light steps coming towards me. I greeted that person, but before I can see the face of that woman she disappeared. My vision blurred, it twisted. Rotated and finally return back to normal. Rosetta’s singing echoed in my ears, my eyes pinpointed to her fingers manipulating the strings of her lute.
She has a beautiful voice undoubtedly. But even though I wanted to appreciate such lovely voice the memories that surprisingly appeared on my head didn’t let me do so. My memories have been twisted, joined, and glued together. Describing it would be how two vases broke together, drop on the floor and was hurriedly glued together only for the pieces not to be the right ones.
I believe that the current me is Ramiel. Two pieces of memories stick into one body. I do not know who is the real me or the memories that are rightly associated with the old me, before losing my memories. I tap the glass I am holding, the bubbles on the fizzy juice felt like they are popping along with my thought.
Evening, in the Three Sisters Inn, I found myself drinking. Alcohol is now allowed so I drank it up with a man named Bacchus. He was the guy I saw with the redheaded man in the harbor. Apparently, he is what you call as an adventurer, not a treasure seeker. He offered me some guides on the island, and along our conversation I got to convince him to make me a fishing pole, not just any fishing pole, but one that can tame even those giant fishes I saw while riding the boat here.
Bacchus liked my enthusiasm, told me that I shan’t worry and have me get one of his prized fishing poles. I befriended Bacchus at the expense of alcohol, and throughout the night, accompanied by Rosetta’s lute, I stayed in the Inn until it was midnight.

Dragon Knight Prophecy
A hero, a dragon, and a love that breaks all bounds. A fantasy story of a man trying to save his homeland from a terrible war by completing a prophecy nobody fully understands. To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone. A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union. If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero. Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time. Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice.
