Chapter 169 – Journal Entry 19: Colossal Match
Two giant creatures rose up in front of me. The Rock Giant Ymir, versus the giant red beast. Ymir took the first shot, a straight right hook followed by an elbow. The red beast stumbled, it swiped its tail but Ymir blocked it, counter punched only for the beast to counter it with its claw. Graze, the rock hand of Ymir got scratched, pebble fell!
The water made shock waves, the boat shake, I held on to rails while my ears hear Elena’s cheers for Ymir. The Giant Rock Golem Ymir uses both of its hand to pound the water. The Giant red Gigantes got stunned, it tried to regain its balance but it was too late as Ymir punches the giant’s throat, and followed it with a haymaker.
Down, the beast was, but unexpectedly the beast’s eyes widen, it jumped up and breathes out a bit of fire. Ymir blocked the fire breathe, it stomped its right giant leg, pulled back its left rock arm, and pushed its right rock arm to the stomach of the beast. A great body blow! But it was not enough for the beast, it manages to use its long fangs to bite on the neck of Ymir.
But Ymir was made of Rock, it didn’t matter as it grappled the red beast, bent its back into an arch and slammed the beast on the sea floor. The beast was tough, it still somehow manages to stand up, retreat out of Ymir’s grasp and bellowed out more fire breathes.
The heat was that of a forge, I could almost feel my forehead sweating as the battle between the two giant beast goes on. Blows to blows, fangs to fangs, arms to arms, and the sea replying back by raging on harder, making the boat I am riding shake made it clear how fierce the battle is.

The rock Golem Ymir fought, he was basically throwing straight hooks, curve punches, and uppercuts to bring down the giant beast. The beast’s red scale was harder than steel, its belly, however, was soft, exposed so the rock golem of humongous size would distract the beast with throw away punches then use a quick series of straight punches that would weaken the beast.
The battle was quite stormy, the winds produced by each movement, and each swing of the beasts was enough to cost giant waves to go over the rather small boat that I am riding at the moment Seeing beast like this go over it makes me feel minuscule. Yet, somehow, a feeling watching two giant beasts fight it out makes me curl a smile on my mouth. Before I know, I was raising cheers for the Giant Rock Golem Ymir, in hope that he would land a killing blow at the beast.
And I wasn’t disappointed. Ymir grabbed the throat of the red beast, produced a blade of rock that sprouted from its back, and used it to stab the beast repeatedly in the stomach, gutting it until Ymir could drag the wound up to the throat of the red beast.
I thought blood would flow but Ymir’s rock hands glowed, and the blood never fell.
It was all over.
...
With the beast dead, the ship stopped for a while to observe. Elena who was rather proud of the Ymir golems explained how it was merely a natural event to happen in the Fernery Sea. Of course, these giants could not be used in other places other than the rich Leylines covered environment. So in order to run a giant Ymir outside of Fernery, then Elena would have to build forty golem cores just for the head. They already tried sending one Ymir Giant once in the frontlines and were successful at least in holding off seven hundred thousand lesser beings.

Of course there about hundreds of Ymir giants guarding Fernery sea, but if it comes to it if somehow the Fernery Territory got threatened, the Mistress according to Elena promises that the golems would be mass produced with a method.
For what method that is, Elena doesn’t know. And even if she knows, she won’t say it. After that little bragging by Elena, she showed up how a Ymir Giant Rock Golem dismantles the red giant beast. The red giant beast is a monstrosity but it has hard scales that could be recycled while its meat is similar to crab meat. So because of this, it has been quite a tradition to the islands of Fernery to strip the meat out of these giants and used them as food. Of course, the whole of Fernery Islands could just drown on the beasts crab like meat, but with how things are people want variety. In fact, most of Fernery Island’s exports are the beasts crab like meat, it is also sold in a not that high price that allows other nations to buy them with a soft prize.
There are other things that the Ymir Giants could do. The Fernery Sea is quite rich in resources, and with the Leylines restoring them twice in one month, it could be said that the islands around Fernery Island are partly blessed.
After the whole butchering of the red giant beast, the boat that we were riding slowly moved again. Along the way we enjoyed the crab like meat, grilling them on the boat’s deck. There was a small griller, and Elena was quite good in cooking, I can praise her skills a bit.
The time passed, and I went back to my room. The next day, when the sun was high up I heard a knock at my cabin’s door. Waking up, adjusting my coat, and opening the door I was greeted by Elena with her usual baggy outfit unlike the revealing outfit of hers.
“We are finally here. Prepare yourself. We are going to dock soon.”
Saying that, Elena left immediately while taking her backpack with her, I also took my belongings too, my sack bag. my sword, and my firearms up to the deck. Upon arriving on top, I saw the harbors of Fernery Island, and looking at the mountain like Island; I could not help but wonder what my life will be here.

But what Aiel doesn't know is when one day a cute, but clutzy adventurer accidentally stumbles into his village, his life will never be the same._____________________________________ I've always liked the idea of stories about people who travel to other worlds that are different, yet familiar to what they know. Stories about "what if" world's where things operate like what a modern person would see in a video game. But another more so would be what it is the people we call NPC's actually think. This story explores such a situation on such a world. My story is called: "I'm JUST a Farmer, NOT an Adventurer!!!" A lighthearted comedy Isekai light novel currently ongoing. I really appreciate feedback and take it all under consideration. Everything helps me improve my story. Let me know your thoughts, what you would have preferred to see, or even things you'd hope happen. I always enjoy hearing people's thoughts. I hope you enjoy reading!
