Chapter 16
I introduced everyone to each other while spanking Fairy Xia.
We then found a good spot to establish our base. This jungle is pretty dangerous if memory serves me correct.
I was flattening the ground in the vicinity when I suddenly stumbled upon a mysterious cave.
I brought everyone in and we explored the cave. Fairy Xia was running gleefully at the front like an excited little kid as Oliver observed the surroundings seriously. I was holding on to Osama like a shield.
We then found a wall with some runic symbols. I illuminated the surroundings with my energy and the powerful looking text was revealed.
We couldn't understand it but Osama seemed like he could. Something about Buddhist scriptures or something. I'm glad I brought him into the team. A wise advisor is truly needed for a wise king.
We went out to resume the building of the base as Osama was left meditating inside the cave.
...
Osama has finally deciphered the ancient texts. He went out of the cave after about 3 hours.
"What does it say?" I asked excitedly.
"If you're reading this, you're gay."
"What?" I asked again, confused.
"If you're reading this, you're gay." Osama repeated with a blank expression as he emphasized each word.
"Huh? The ancient texts actually say that?! And you're not gay right?"
"It's too late, I'm gay now." Osama said with a solemn face as his gaze caught Oliver to the sides.
Oliver is shirtless as he cut the giant jungle trees to make our temporary base.
...
Osama might just be playing with me as he doesn't probably want to share the powerful secrets of the ancient texts but it's okay because he is still on my team. His power is my power...all mine.

We finished constructing a lovely wooden mansion surrounded by a huge wall made of the resilient jungle trees. Exactly as the sun was falling, we could now finally relax as we talked about what to do in this unfamiliar world.
The first official meeting of the Water God faction was held. I talked about the basics of this world and how different it is from ours and things to do from now on and who's boss.
Oliver was solemnly nodding his head. Osama just sat there beside Oliver. Fairy Xia wasn't listening as she was happily carving some designs on the table with an energy knife.
"We should conquer the world." I suggested in a commanding tone.

Seclusion
I look at the mountain of paperwork before me. I'm overworked. Slowly, my eyes fall shut. I'm so tired of this... A loud 'bang' caused by dropping off another pile of paperwork made me bolt upright. My maid stands before, scorn in her eyes. Annoyed, I wave her away—this is not the first time that that has happened. And she is not the only one who does that. 'Hated by my own people,' I sigh internally and rub my temples. This is not what my 'freedom' was supposed to look like. My eyes hover over the ring on my finger. I tried, you know? Right now, I only want everything to stop. Maybe read some books, eat something delicious, and nap as often as I want to. Wait...I am the matriarch! Hell, I can do whatever I want! Books? I can pocket whole libraries in my domain. Food? Also, in my domain. Naps? Well, there are many cuddly nooks in there. Sooo...my domain has everything I need—dunno why I never thought of this before. All that's left is to relocate its entrance to another totally secret place. How about that hidden forest temple? Yes, let's go with this! Goodbye obligations, goodbye people who always want to take over, goodbye enemies, and at last, good riddance to the council that tries to marry me off to one of these fat ugly narcissistic nobles. Uhh, I just hope nothing will go wrong during my long-term absence. Nahhh, nothing will happen at all; I am totally sure of it...probably. ______ This is the rewrite of the old story: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/273362/seclusion-old-version--dropped/ Alternate Titel: I lived so long in seclusion that everybody forgot about me
