《Disciples of the Demon king》Chapter 16.2

The Demon King-
The Demon King watched as the crystal elemental crumbled to fragments before him, his voidspear spell having pierced right through its middle,
‘and the wall behind it, ...and the stone behind that… and’ the voice murmured from his sword and into his mind.
Okay, okay! He got it.
Even the Demon King could admit that using a sixth tier spell was probably, maybe a little, just a tiny bit overkill, but he had been pissed and there were few ways to express his anger without accidentally destroying the planet early in the process.
‘You need a hobby. Why not take up blacksmithing again? I always enjoyed the extra maintenance.’
“Quite you. Didn’t I polish you yesterday”
‘Can’t a blade have needs? Plus, you rushed last night, and you know it!’
“Then do it yourself next time.”
‘Wow. that's all you have to say? Noted.’
The demon began to sweat a bit, luckily it was then that the elemental finished dying.
Streamers of experia filled the room the largest of which poured into him and weapon
The demon king averted his eyes as his students shuddered, It didn't do anything due to how his vision worked but it was the thought that counted.
He sighed as the purified mana finished pouring into him.
Not even a tingle.
‘That was disappointing…’ the glutton’s arsenal complained
“That entire fight was disappointing. That boss just fell to bits. I didn't even get a chance to look cool!”
‘I think you looked plenty cool’ GA said as the demon king felt them plant a kiss on his mental cheek ‘you were holding me after all’
“And my clothes were ruined!”
‘What can I say, I prefer you without ‘em. I think that those kids back there would agree.’

The demon king moved his attention back to his students finding they were done shuddering like piles of teenage jello, each carefully averting red-faced gazes, the boys leaning forward in a very conspicuous way. He sighed, even if he had looked cool during the fight, the effect was gone now.
He snapped his fingers replacing his tattered rags with a new suit, through a simple spatial magic spell. Hopefully, he could convince GA to resew it into something halfway decent later.
‘You can not.’
Hopefully, he would have a chance to throw it away later.
Then he turned back to his students, laughing internally at their discomfort and covered eyes.
“It’s okay. I’m decent now.” he rolled his eyes.
“What the hell was that!” Ali yelled her voice quavering slightly.
“In short, the dungeon thought it could kill me and by proxy you. It upgraded the boss in an attempt to overpower me, but i think it underestimated. The strongest mages I've seen in this backwater town are fourth-trial so i think it was prepared for that and not me.” his voice softened s a frown creased his expression “I have to apologize. I had no idea the dungeon would target me or go for you with that final attack, this was supposed to be a safe training ground that you could beat on your own. I apologize for that not being the case. I don't want to put you in any real danger, not until you’re ready a least. I understand if you want to leave but I would be honored if you allowed me to assist you in finishing this quest and turning it in before you take the night to make your decision.”
The kids jumped as if they had forgotten this was a trial run, and then huddled together having a private conference that the demon could easily hear but tried to ignore for the sake of politeness.

The decision was made, ultimately by Hailey as usual, and Kenn turned back to speak for the group.
“Okay… This wasn’t your fault…”
Ali looked like she wanted to say something but a look from the others stilled her tongue, Kenn continued.
“As long as you’re sure there are no more monsters or anything else unexpected we’d like to finish the quest”
The demon king nodded a smile exposing his serrated teeth “I can promise that. And if there are I’ll take them seriously this time. Deal?”
“Deal.”

His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy
Little snippet of the story below... Hope you enjoy!××Willowed_Wisp××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××My breath hitches in my throat, as deep crimson eyes bore into mine through the inky, yet comforting, darkness, and a hand, pale and large compared to my own tiny little paw, begins to reach out for me. A tiny chirp of fear leaves my lips, as I scoot further back until my back hits the cold wall, and flatten my ears against my head." Come on Angel... We won't hurt you." The man soothes, his already thick voice, due to his sexy British accent, sounding thicker due to his long, ivory fangs that gleam silver in the Moonlight, as he tries to coax me out from under the bed.I shake my head violently, my nose twitching wildly, as my fluffy red tail curls around my dark brown paws, and I lower my head until my chin bangs lightly against the wooden floor. I realize, with a jolt of fear, that the Vampire is gone! Leaving Robyn and myself alone. My glowing amber eyes widen, as his hand suddenly whips out from my left, and closes around the back of my neck.I look to Robyn for help, my claws scraping across the floor, creating scratches in the polished wood, only to see the spot where he once was empty. I give a series of terrified yelps, as the man gently pulls me out by the scruff of the neck, and holds me up in front of him.My tiny, dark brown paws churn wildly in the air, my ears flat, and my tail waving around wildly, as he looks me up and down, and then pulls me into his muscular chest... Wrapping a small blanket around my wriggling body to calm me down.I begin to chirp and yelp softly, calling out to Robyn, as the man throws the corner of the blanket over my face, and everything goes black. One question rings in my head as I am carried from our home...××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××What is going to happen to us?

Neophyte: Common Route
A story about self-discovery, interpersonal relationships, magic and magical creatures-- and a silent war. Marsha is about seven years past adulthood and still feels like a scared child in her parents' home. This is exacerbated when she discovers her father has apparently keyed up his destructive, sadistic habits-- leading to a mad dash out of the house with precious cargo in tow and only one idea where to go. This begins her journey, leading to a discovery that will change her life forever. And she never wants to go back. (Warnings: Lots of descriptions of abusive, sadistic and otherwise traumatizing and triggering behavior that a parent perpetuated toward a child or multiple children. Descriptions of violence, a main character with emotional issues that will be dealt with, and a whole lot of the 'aftermath' of battles in a war. Even a few descriptions of some of those battles. Things of that nature. If you can't handle one of those, please do not read.) {I had this idea to write a 'common route' and then 'romance routes' like they do in otomes? Book 1 is the common route, and then at book 2, you choose your love interest. Each of which is encased in their own book.}
