Well one thing can describe what I see: Dead. The sky dark, the ground a dry brown grass and even the trees are dark and twisted. As I looked around, I could see some skeletons walking around and a few rats running around. My curiosity getting the best of me I looked at the closet skeleton and see a small window pops over it head

Well that does fit how he looks: solid bones unlike me, an I think a old iron sword, shield and some scraps of armor hanging on him. As I kept looking him over a noticed his eyes a light blue flame and he was stumbling around slowly.

I slowly looked around but other skeletons in the area are the same lvl as the first one or higher. I sighed deeply to himself>. I then return to my starting point and looked old forgotten mausoleum I exited from. While I looked at it and thought to myself, suddenly I saw:

Well now gained some exp killing a simple rat, but looking at the amount I need to level up. I would need to kill 999 more rats… this going to be grind. Well it not like I never did something like this in a MMOs before. I just hope I can do it safely, since I got no clue how to heal myself yet, since my stats shows no hp regen. “Well I better get started” I shrugged to self as he started to look around the mausoleum, killing a few rats as I found them. After I killed my 50th rat and the area was cleared out a window popped up.

I thought to myself I started to look around but it was becoming harder to find rats. Therefore, I moved to what I think a crypt from how it looks and started to head underground. The deeper I went the darker I got until I could barely see anything. I then kept straining my senses until I felt something: kind of like a warm breeze near my foot just before -1 hp popped in front of me.

I quickly stabbed down where I felt strongest warmth, there was a quick squeak and then felt the warmth fade quickly.

I smile a bit to my as he kneed down and looked at the dead rat. The warmth I felt was gone and the longer I stared the clear the body became till i heard a Ding.

I could suddenly see all around me a lot clearer and not stumbling in the near darkness. The walls of the crypt where made of semi smooth stones and has small alcoves in to where bones where pulled up. Some of the bone showing damage from the chewing of the rats. I did notice that dark vision only shows me objects in black and white scale, no colors, but worked with no light so made sneaking up on rats a bit easier. I wonder if gaining skill this easy or this is an effect of the hero learning talent, well at lest it mostly been helpful so far so I’m not going to complain at all. Although I do wonder if the goddess out to get could mess with it or is it something she cannot effect directly.

I kept walking in deeper till I stood before an old rusted iron gate. I decided to push right on in and look around

Exp will be doubled and best item will drop if Boss defeated in the week in this Dungeon.

I heard the old Iron Gate slam shut. I slowly walked in deeper till I enter the first room and looked around. Inside I saw some larger rats.

Giant Rat lvl 3

I sighed and made sure it was alone and moved quietly to its side. I then lunged out with my old sword and stabbed it which caused a -3 hp to flash. Up close, I could really tell how large it was. This rat was at least 30 pounds, 2 feet long and a foot tall, with mangy brown fur. As I pulled my sword, back the rat’s thick tail snapped and slammed in to me. A loud crack filled the air and my left arm nearly fell off. "Oh fucking hell,” I grunted as a -10 HP flashed before my eyes. I thought and took a step back. I lifted my sword up and moved as I felt warmth coming from the left again; I slashed down the best I could and heard an resounding squeak and a thud. I then noticed a -6 hp pop up and a new message

As I looked at the rat I noticed, it tall was a good bit shorter and it was looking abit dizzy. I moved as fast as I could and stabbed in to it side again it arched it back some and started to turn around. While It turned I kicked off the ground harder and then it fell over with a thud, I saw a Fatal Strike: Heart, flash by. It landed on its side the front right paw twitching before the warmth left it. As it died, I felt some of the warmth drift around for a bit and I without thinking made a grab with my good hand. I felt the warmed wrap around my left arm and it started to feel better. While I was thinking I saw +3 Hp flashed in front of me followed by a Ding.

Giant Rat Died: Gained 20 EXP.

I thought to myself, as I looked at what the rat on chewing on I saw some pieces of leather and a old pack with some holes in it. Well this could work if I patched it up some. I looked at the chopped off piece of the rat's tail.

I took the old pack, used some pieces of leather to patch the holes, and fixed the straps until I had semi usable pack and a small pouch. The fixes where a bit rough but should hold till, I hope. I can find something better later. I should head back to the mausoleum also to pick up those coins I left behind since I have a small coin pouch now to store them in. While I inspected the room I wondered: did they have something like a bag of holding like in D&D or something. I really do not want to carry a lot as I am, I was worried could break my spine if I carried too much. Well maybe i find out later in time, let's go in deeper and see what i find…

L blue light: "Well I hope our 'gift' will help level things out some. I think it was fairly unfair to have his heroic powers hafted like that."
