《I'm a hero? Nope, familiar》Chapter 7. To the nurses office

...And so she continued carrying me despite my struggling.
'I heard her say clinic, so am I going to be bandaged or something? Hmm... then again this place has magic, so healing magic? This cut is pretty deep....
Geez, I know she scared me, but why did I react that way?
This body's reflexes... Sheesh.
Guess I should get a lay of the land... I mean building.' I thought to myself.
So I started to looked around while being carried, having long given up struggling. The hall we seem to be going down is a what looks like a military bunker, but has marble floors with fancy furs woven into a long rug going the full length of the hallway. Throughout this hall, there are many silver doors on each side similar to the girl who is carrying me's, having a square shaped device on them, which I presume is a lock. The only difference between these doors and her's is that they had some sort of emblem on them.
While I am wondering this, the girl just heads to the old cage elevator at the end of the hallway... THIS PLACE HAS AN ELEVATOR?! But... How? It opens up and inside I see cylinders on each side of the elevator. Oh... More of those devices? Here I was under the impression this would be like the Victorian age on Earth.
Then again Earth doesn't have magic... I think? Maybe... I'm not sure, there always was some myths or such in every culture.... Hmm.
I wish this girl would just put me down. No wonder most animals hate being picked up, this is irritating.
Despite my mental grievances, the girl gets out of the elevator, still carrying me, and walks past people who are dressed weirdly. Why robes...?
....Anyways, she continues past them and walks through some doors to go outside. Oh, how convenient, automatically opening doors.
I try to take note of what's outside but she quickly continues across the courtyard we came outside to and enters another building.
*sigh* really? I continue to keep track of which way we are going, even though this building is quite a bit different from the last one.
This building seems to be built… Like a modern school? Well other than all of what I assume are magic devices and the fact that it is way better decorated than a normal school. A few moments of walking down the hall she makes a sharp turn, and enters a room with 7 beds on each side of it and a mirror in the back. I look around the room and see a cabinet similar to what someone would put medical supplies in on Earth, and see a small portly woman next it.

“Hello?” the purple haired girl said when she came in, apparently not noticing the woman in the corner.
“Over here hun,” the woman said not even looking over here. Looks like she's organizing.
“Oh Ms. Petunia, you're here. I surprised my familiar when it woke up and it hurt itself, can you help?” She said. Wait a second…. FAMILIAR?! Isn't that a master/servant kind of thing?! What the fuck! No no no no no no no. I didn't sign up for this, no!
…. Then again I didn't sign up to be summoned at all…
But that's beside the point. I'm going to be a slave?!
“Can you make it calm down? This is why I didn't become a farm hand, animals are so annoying,” said the medic(?) woman. “Now I have to deal with one anyways because it mimicked a human…” She muttered under her breath.
...I already don't like her.
“Can you please stop? I'm only trying to help you.” She said, with a bit of strain in her voice. I didn't realize it, but I started struggling incredibly when I heard the word familiar. I knew she brought me here to get healed, but I didn't want to spend another second in that spot. So, I thrashed even harder trying to get away.
“I shall apologize for this later, but we can't help you like this.” I hear her say and then everything goes black.

Why in the world did he start struggling so? It made his attempts to get out earlier look half-hearted. I could barely hold onto him, so I decided to knock him out. I know it wasn't particularly polite of me to do so, but he needs that wound healed.
The old nurse proceeds to complain about beasts and such but I ignore her and focus on my familiar’s state. Noticing my stare, the nurse stops complaining and says in a petulant tone with a sigh’
“Fine hun, I'll take a look at the stupid thing.”
I attempt to ignore her barb towards my familiar for now and silently watch her treat him. She dares call my familiar unintelligent?! She insulted both me and my familiar! He is a being I summoned for his intelligence! I should rip out her… No. I need to stop this train of thought. That is not the way a proper knight should react. ‘You need to calm down’ I tell myself.

Despite my losing battle against my anger, the medic continued to apply a infection preventative. When I first came to this school to learn magic, I always wondered why the medical staff did that. I did not learn why until one of the student came back from a trip to the field incredibly injured. The only thing I could get out of them was ‘healing magic only speeds up the process.’ So I looked into it more and when I saw the documents on healing magic, I was horrified at the results of what happened when they didn't properly re-set the bones or put on infection preventative.
Thinking about this, I was going to thank her for using it and healing him, but then she started comparing my familiar to a kobold… My blood went cold…
{Niles PoV}
Feeling groggy… Ugh….
Oh right, she knocked me out. Trying to help me, my ass. My neck is all sore…
...I hear a commotion going on…
I open my eyes to see this scene,
“I-I-I’M SORRY!!!!!” screams the lady who I thought was the medic.
The purple haired girl steps towards the medic lady and says such terrifying things to her, that me and the poor woman are left speechless… I'm gonna leave out what she said, *shivers*
Purple hair girl walks towards miss medic, scaring her, and she runs out of the room.
“That little…” I hear her say before walking out after her. I'm left speechless. What just happened?! That's it I'm outta here.
I try to leave through the door but it's locked. Whyyyyyy. Ok, windows. Let's check the windows!
…...there are none?
I see leaves and stuff blowing outside it… So it's windy outside, so why don't I feel it if there are no windows? I go to reach out the window, and get zapped! What the hell?! Then I notice the runes, around the edges, where the window would be.
This time I say it out loud,
“What the fuck…?”
Seeing that there is no other way for me to get out of here, I go over to the mirror.
I might as well see what the heck I look like now *sigh*. What? I'm curious.
I look into the mirror… and feel like someone turned me into an anime character. First of all my face structure didn't change at all, same shape. What made me feel shocked was that certain parts of my body changed. Well… The ears weren't a surprise but what u saw was.
First of all, I now have WHITE hair… Um, fur. My hair used to be blond, does this place not have blond, that goddess that was named Chernyl I believe called them, fox-kin? My eyes didn't change color, they were blue, but the pupils did change into the shape of a foxes.
Next, I went to check my body. My torso stayed the same and so did my… “equipment”. Phew. Anyways… Let's look at my back. Please no fur, please no fur, please no fur. Fuck. There's a small patch of smooth fur on my back that connects to my tails. *sigh* could be worse I guess. I could have ended up a furry *shivers*.
Tails. I. Have. Tails. Not just one, but two? Wonder why that is. I touch my tail, and it feels soft and bushy. Phew, not gonna be a turn-on zone. Some anime include that way too much you know!
After that, I look at my legs, I already know what my arms look like. My legs definitely changed, well at least the bottom halves. From my knees and below they look like the hind legs of a fox but bigger. My feet/paws are tiny! No wonder I had a hard time balancing!
While thinking about all this, I notice the bandage on my foot, and realize I didn't feel any pain! I took off the bandage, even though I probably shouldn't have, and all I see on my foot is a scar.
'I tore it so badly and yet it's fully healed… What is going on here…? Do they have healing magic?'
I thought, and then I hear the door slam open, scaring the crap out of me. Come on! I have better hearing now!
THAT’S LOUD AS FUCK!

Parallel universes exist. Ten years ago, a terrorist organization called Liroli waged an all-out war against the World Order, bent on obtaining the means to travel between these parallel universes. Although the war ended with the government's victory, it was not without consequences. A poisonous element known as Lorine began leaking from the other worlds, bringing a plague that wiped out a third of humanity — the infamous May Death. Those infected gained strange abilities, in exchange for their certain death in a year. To counter the great plague that threatened humanity's survival, the government launched the World Restoration Project: gathering those infected and sending them into Lorine-polluted parallel worlds to seal the leaks between them. But it isn't that easy a task, as many dangers lurk behind these worlds, while those infected must deal with their own looming deaths. This is the story of Jack Waterfelt, the only human in the world immune to the May Death, and the 43rd Sealing Squad.

8 86The Puppy Project
"Give me my puppy!" I demanded, my eyes ablazed with fiery anger."Correction, it's not your puppy. It's our puppy," He smiled, but it was anything but sweet nor happy."You know what? Damn you! You're nothing but a cold, emotionless, and heartless bad boy!" I sneered, glaring at him fiercely. He chuckled at my words, taking a step closer to me. He slammed his hand unto the wall, trapping me, before leaning in close. "You got that right sweetheart but I think you got one thing wrong." He said, his eyes piercing straight into mine."And what is that?" I managed to asked, my throat seeming to get drier the more he looked at me."I'm neither one of those when I'm with you," and with those words, slammed his lips into mine.#1 in Strong-Female Character - 1/29/21#1 in Sarcasm - 2/4/21#2 in BadBoy - 2/13/21#3 in Teen Fiction - 2/13/21#1 in Mysterious - 3/4/21Copyrighted 2017.
