It was a capsule pod exclusively used for the Freedom Fantasy Virtual Reality MMORPG. The game managed to get a hundred million players on the day of release. Needless to say, the game was very popular. The game was made by Kozaki Productions, a game development company illustrious for their strides in technology and their games that are referred to as masterpieces by the masses. This is their first ever online game, and thus loads of attention was brought onto Freedom Fantasy. Hideo Kozaki's daring statement was one amongst the factors players from around the world bought the game, despite the high price.

"This product of ours has no bugs in it. Notice we used 'product' and not 'game'. We hope that this project of ours would become the second life of all of the players playing it."

Kozaki stated boldy. On that day, there was a lot of headlines that featured this statement.

Axel Alexanders, a man who lost his love of games, was intrigued. And thus he immediately bought the machine, despite emptying his bank account. He hoped that he would realize the thrill in playing games once more.

"Okay, here we go."

He placed on the headpiece, that gave the impression of a futuristic helmet and got into the capsule pod.

"Wait how do I turn this on again?"

He was confused, as he forgot to read the instruction manual.

"Do I have to say something like..."

"Link Start!"

Nothing happened.

"Yeah, like hell that's gonna happen."

As he was about to take of the helmet and open the manual.

Lost grabbed an arrow and loaded it onto his bow. He drew back the arrow with his right hand, his left holding the bow. After confirming the existence of a Night Chicken, he aimed towards it. He then relaxed his grip on the string, allowing his fingers to slip backward.

After receiving damage, the chicken which black feathers sparkle, making the reflection of light look like stars, started to flee.

"Oi get back here you feathered ass!"

Lost then ran as fast as he can, the Night Chicken went inside a dark cave, which he has never seen before despite hunting in the Great Forest of Tchura ever since he was level 70.

"It's so dark here, I didn't bring any torch too.."

Lost stepped on mud, which made him lose balance and fall into a hole in the wall.

Lost looked around, it was a room walled with stone.With no way of getting out.

'Oh wait, no. We're in Freedom Fantasy.'

If he learnt anything from 9 months of playing Freedom Fantasy, it was that nothing there was merely a placeholder.

'There must be a secret mechanism somewhere..'

He then looked up.

It was a Night Chicken. It was staring at Lost, who felt like the chicken was looking down on him.

"That little..."

"I'll have you know that I'm the master of quickscope in KnB!"

KnB was the abbreviation of Knives and Bullets.

He shot an arrow towards the chicken.

But he knew this fact.

'Heh... you thought I was aiming there?'

It was an explosive arrow. The arrow was shot right under the chicken.

"Thank God I saved one for emergencies."

Lost turned around, and saw an egg on a stone pedestal.

"Oh? That's weird."

Why would there be an egg on a place like this? He was curious and examined the egg.

Unknown Egg Rare Consumable

An egg of unknown origin. It three times larger than a chicken egg. Will heal a small amount of health when eaten. However, the other effects of eating this egg is unknown.

"A consumable quest item? That's new."

As he was about to put it in his inventory, he looked at his health bar.

"Ah right I lost a lot of health earlier."

He thought about eating the egg.

"Hmmm there are unknown effects, but if I don't eat it I'll die anyway. It's a quest item too, so it'll respawn after it's gone, right?"

He then consumed the egg.

He saw the walls were not flat, and thus he planned to climb up with his knife. But before he did, a notification popped up in front of his face.

Monster Eater Poor Class (Growth)

A monster eater is a class that relies on ones hunger. By devouring and taking away a monster's qualities, they would become a force to be reckoned with. The main weapon, hungry arm, is a weapon that is bound to the owner's body (You cannot unequip it). It starts off weak, but will grow according to the growth of the class. The potential of this class is endless, however growth depends on the user, it can be trash, and it also can be the best class. This class is unique to a single individual, there cannot be more than one monster eaters.

Main Weapon

Hungry Arm Hungry Arm Poor Weapon (Growth)

A weapon that is embedded to the owner's body. It starts off as a poor quality weapon, but it has the ability to evolve into a better version of itself.

At this stage, the Hungry Arm will generate the skill [Lesser Devour]. When used to attack, Hungry Arm will recover health with the same amount of 1% of the damage dealt.

When this weapon is equipped, all defeated enemies will stay as corpses until user exits the area.

If the owner of this weapon equips another weapon, then it would become dormant. When dormant, it is not physically visible and unusable.

Attack power and speed depends of the stats of the owner. It is powerless by itself.

"Poor? Even the starter classes are Normal rated."

Lesser Devour Active Skill

By using the Hungry Hand or inserting the corpse of a monster into your mouth. There is a chance to obtain the monster's skills and/or characteristics.

Can only devour 'Beginner' skills and skills rated F. Once a characteristic is absorbed, you can choose to equip that characteristic at any time.

Cooldown: 15 Seconds

Cost: 10 Mana
