《I Can Respawn In The Apocalypse》Chapter 57: Gods Retaliation

The dungeon core was looking at the corpse on the floor in despair.
He has already absorbed this body 10 times and has earned 100,000 each time, which is a good thing. However, the man who he has signed the contract with can't die... Meaning he will never be free...
Only now did the dungeon realize why the contract was made so in his favor. The fact that the Master won't be able to die means that he will never be free...
[Fuck! I've been had! You crafty human how dare you trick me!]
I look at the dungeon core with a smile on my face. Anyone could read what I said without me saying a single word.
"Yeah, what can you do about it."
[!!! ... FUCK!]
"The contract was made just for you of course. Why else would there be no negative side effect if I was to die? I mean I'm not stupid you know... unlike you..."
[ARGH!!!]
"Oh shut up already. This is also a good thing for you is it not?"
[You tricked me!]
"But didn't you come to Earth to become the strongest dungeon? Don't you have more enemies in the other world? With me, I can make you into the strongest dungeon in the world. By using the beta period to its fullest advantage I can have you take over the entire world in no time right?"
[...]
"It's not that bad of a deal if you look at it. Although you will be under me, you will become the above millions of others. With me around, we can earn billions of DP and expand your dungeon faster than any other dungeon on the surface of this world."
[Even so, I won't have freedom!]

"What is freedom worth? Nothing. Having freedom doesn't make you the strongest dungeon in the world right?"
[...]
"Didn't you have freedom in your previous world? If you had become the strongest there then you wouldn't have come here right?"
[But using a BUG will end up badly.]
"That's why we will use it as much as we can right now so that we will become strong enough to fight off anything the GOD can throw at us."
[But...]
"No buts, god can't directly interfere with our world lightly. That is especially the case for you. For you aren't a Dungeon from this world but instead a transmigrated one. Meaning only your world can punish you. But I'm assuming that your world overseer has long left meaning that you won't receive any backlash no matter how much chaos you cause here."
[!!! How do you!?]
"I know a lot of things..."
A smile appears on my face, the face of a crafty fox.
"This means the only way that the GOD can interfere is by killing me. But I can't die."
[!!!]
"Do you see where I'm going with this?"
[...]
"As long as the GOD doesn't catch up and fix the BUG we can cheat the system an infinite amount of DP."
[...]
"Don't worry. As long as you don't say a word and I don't how likely is it that the god will be able to find us. The world is so big and the amount of things the GOD can do is limited. He also has rules which he can't directly bypass meaning at least for the BETA period he won't be able to do anything to us. So let's stop wasting time and get as many DP as we can while we can."

With that, we continued exploiting the bug which will most likely not be fixed until the end of the BETA period.
Every 10 seconds I revive and then Suicide. The process of reviving suiciding and then being absorbed just continued. I believe this is one of the most fucked up things that my dungeon has ever experienced in his life as a dungeon.
For its not every day that you get to see a man who can respawn.
We continued with this process over and over again until I already lost count of the number of times I had died. But then something happened. A lightning bolt appeared out of the world and struck me the moment I revived...
I think that God has been angered...
For him to directly interfere and try to kill me... he's going to suffer a backlash for that.
But now I know that I'm not on Santa's good list... I mean God's good list.
This could get ugly...
I'm pretty sure that BUGs are only allowed to be struck by GODs lightning tribulation once. After that BUGs aren't supposed to be attacked again...
I believe I was already struck by GOD once meaning this is the second time. The GOD has broken a rule so he is most definitely going to suffer a Backlash.
Also... it saves me the time to commit suicide myself...
So good going god. Strike me a couple more times.
But the heavens don't answer my call, for they don't send a lightning bolt.
"Sigh... it's so lonely being so invincible..."
If the GOD above heard this then he would have most likely puked 3 liters of blood.
Right now what Li Xin has to fear the most is the revenge of GOD.
If this was a game then the players would be us and the GM would have to be the GOD.
For those who exploit the bugs usually, they receive retaliation from the GM.
Meaning I need to use this BUG to it's fullest potential before the GOD figures out a way to fix it and starts his retaliation.
A GODs retaliation is not something easy to take. For there is a myriad of ways in which he could retaliate.
For example, he could make a Zombie Wave, make the location around us spawn more monsters at a higher tier than usual or... wait I think all of those are pretty good outcomes...
For a Zombie Wave equals more monsters for me to kill. Spawning stronger monsters equal resources and Cores for me to harvest.
I don't fear death so the thing the GOD can throw at me that is bad for me is pretty limited...
I then look at the Dungeon core and return to my mission of committing suicide getting absorbed and then respawning.
The more DP I get the stronger I get. The more DP I get the angrier GOD will be...
The angrier god is the stronger his gifts for me will be... I mean the stronger his retaliation against me will be...

Carefree Demon
"Let me ask you who is a demon?" In folk and lore, a demon is portrayed as a bloodthirsty, horrifying creature and an unholy being. This is not a story about a bloodthirsty demon who slaughters everything in front of him but of a naive child who was doomed, hated from his very birth, and was forced to take the path of a demon. Feared by the masses and hated by those who call themselves 'righteous', a demon lives in constant pain and endless ambition. The demonic path's inheritance is severed and the righteous path reign supreme. A young man lives in a village carefree and untethered by this cruel world until one day he wakes and faces the world head to head. Despite not Being a Hero, Saint, or Even a Demon King, I was Summoned
I was summoned to another world. Not as a Hero, not as a Saint, not even as a Demon King, but as a regular contract demon. You know, like the ones that come when you sacrifice a chicken or something on top of a magic circle. It's a bit weird, especially since I'm human, but I've just decided to go with the flow for now. Which apparently means becoming the employee of an item shop. (What's that? You want to know what cheat powers I've been given? Well, how about an inexhaustible source of mana substitute? ...Holy crap, I have an inexhaustible source of mana substitute.)

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
