《I Can Respawn In The Apocalypse》Chapter 38: Home

The moment I put the seal on her all magic power is sealed. But this is only a temporary measure against Julie for the seal will not last long.
I quickly smack a doctor and when he woke up I commanded him to start waking up the others. Soon all the doctors were awaken. I didn't bother with the remaining survivors for it was simply a waste of time. I only decided to bring them along with me before since the doctors wouldn't have it otherwise. But now the doctors are quick on their feet and decided to follow me. They didn't wake up the survivors.
I quickly grab Julie who I handcuffed and with the doctors In tow, we head towards the second floor.
On the second floor is the window which I came in from that window.
I quickly take out my phone radio and have my men come underneath the window. I quickly jump off the building and grab onto the light pole which I used to get up here and got to the ground. Although I could've simply jumped off the building it might've attracted some unwanted attention towards us so I simply did it the quiet way.
Upon getting to the floor I call for the doctors to Jump.
There faces immediately pale for this was a 15 feet jump. This wasn't a jump that you can fall from.
If they end up falling in a wrong way they might end up dead.
I call out that I would catch them but they don't stop shivering from the thought of falling to there deaths.
I then call for them to simply throw Julie and her kid off the building first if they're afraid.
The doctors hesitate at first but obey for they wanted to see If I could truly catch her and make sure it was safe.

Throwing the child off the building was an easy task for a child was lighter and easier to toss.
I quickly grab him and put him down easily. That swift movement eased their fear of jumping off the building a bit as they saw me swiftly catching him and then laying him on the ground.
While Julie, on the other hand, was a grown woman so she was someone heavier to lift, and a lot harder to simply toss. 2 doctors worked together and lifted her and then tossed her.
I swiftly grabbed her with little effort and that eased the doctors up much more.
But most of the doctors were still fearing the jump.
Time was ticking and the building was burning soon the fire got onto their floor and the first brave doctor decided to jump. After swiftly catching and releasing them there were only 5 more doctors left. But these doctors feared the jump and refused to be the next one to do it. At this point, I was getting pissed off.
I take my gun out and pointed it at them.
"If you don't jump I start shooting at you lot. After I fire my first shot the zombies will start climbing upstairs to swarm you so all who don't wish to die from Zombies and then burned to death had better jump."
In a jiffy, all 5 remaining doctors jumped off the building and got to ground safe and sound... not. I simply dropped them from my hands after I caught them, This was paid back for wasting my time.
Although they didn't suffer any major injury falling to the ground whilst having your body above someone else waist is a painful experience for the ass.
I have the doctors quickly loaded onto the police cruisers. I am not dumb enough to place the people I took so long to save into a cramped truck.

We quickly depart from the hospital and head towards the center of Chinatown.
My mother and father had passed away 2 years before me and my sisters were thrown into streets. I had already turned of age so we weren't taken in by anybody, I raised my sister myself. We received an inheritance of 80,000 dollars.
It was the money we received from the insurance and their savings.
With that money, we were able to survive quite easily.
I got a job as a Technician and started working as well.
So our brother and sister lived quite well off.
That was until the apocalypse happened and messed up our lives.
In my last life, I wasn't able to save her. By the time I got home in my last life the apartment was raided for supplies already and was without an owner.
I was only able to get there after 2 months into the apocalypse due to the zombies and then had to give away half of my supplies to those bandits who took over the bridge.
After crossing the bridge and getting into Manhattan only to find a raided apartment.
After fighting through a borough and killing hundreds of Zombies, then getting extorted by bandits I end up in an apartment which was empty and showed no signs of humans.
But now after returning to the past I can finally meet up with my beloved sister once more.
We have arrived.
I get off the truck which I was sitting in and jump off of it. I land in front of the door to my old apartment building and turn at the door.
The door is locked.
That is a good sign for a locked door means that it has yet to be broken into and that the people inside should have yet to come out.
I reach into my pocket and pull out my keys. I stick the one which was for the front door and it unlocks with a click. The moment I open the door I see a set of stairs.
My apartment is on the third floor so I need to pass a flight of stairs to get there. I quickly ascend the stairway and on every floor, there are 4 apartments. Every time I pass a door I hear banging sounds coming from behind it meaning that there is a Zombie within.

To forgive and forget or to hold onto hate and seek revenge? What will he choose? ------------------ I'll be honest with everyone here, I can't write right now. Like I don't mean can't as in I'm disabled and literally can't do it, but I mean can't as in I have other things I gotta do at the moment. So I'm going into hiatus for a while and will be back sometime in the fall of 2021.
