I pleaded with the doctors to just give a pass to let my son in. But no they didn't even care. All I was met with were eyes of avoidance.

I am Julie a normal mother just your typical mother. Today my 5 year old son had a bad stomach ache after having dinner, which is the only reason why I came to the hospital so late at night. There was a lot of patients who came in after 9. Apparently there was a huge car crash and each of them seemed to be badly injured. Our wait time was continuously pushed back.

Our issue of a stomach ache was brushed off as a small issue compared to the more seriously injured people. After 10 a sound sounded in our ears and the world changed. All the heavily injured people started to stand and then attacked the doctors and the people around them. The ER room of the Hospital had nurses rushing out while screaming. It was literally chaos inside of the hospital.

I quickly grabbed onto my son and rushed up the stairs like many others did. There was a lot of people in front of the hospital so the exit was blocked off. After reaching the second floor more people started to come up. Most people stopped to make a call to there family's while talking about there situation but after about 15 minutes all the calls became hard to get through.

I tried calling my husband was unable to reach him.

After a while of waiting and more and more people coming onto the second floor some people from down stairs started arriving but they were bloodied. Some people approached them asking for what happened down stairs. But before the questioning got them anywhere they were grabbed by the slowly walking injured men and the moment the man questioning was grabbed another injured man sunk his teeth into him.

Screams of terror sounded again and we were once again running.

But this time no one stopped on the third floor rather everyone just kept going and soon got to the roof. A janitor who came up with us had a key to the locked rooftop and opened the door for all of us. After getting onto the roof people started discussing about the situation they were in. We all came to the conclusion that they seems most similar to zombies as the dead had revived and started attacking people. We were scared and had started calling using our cell phone to every person we could. But the lines were all extremely busy so we were unable to get through. Calling the police didn't work either.

All the lines have been extremely busy.

There were about 50 odd people here and since we know that there are zombies now we have decided to grab some things from the floor below which we can use to barricade the roof top.

We went in groups so that we can help each other out when we get to a lower floor and everyone was in charge of getting something heavy which we can pick up and bring to use as a barricade for the door. After getting to the floor below us we started scrambling to pick up whatever objects which we could find to hold the door. We found a chair a table and some shelves as well as a pushing cart.

I went in search of food unlike the others for without food we would starve and I don't want to see my baby starving. So I grabbed a couple of bottles of water from the refrigerator which is for the staff. In there I find a apple 2 sandwiches that have been wrapped in plastic. I also found a couple of Granola Bars. I saw a jar of Candy which was on the table for the guest and I simply took all that I found.

I assumed that we were going to be stuck there for a couple of days so I packed as much food as I could find so that my baby wouldn't starve before someone comes to save us.

I made sure to have all food hidden away on my body more then all in my purse for it would be a problem if all the food I have was found by the others.

I also know that a rooftop isn't exactly the most warmest place and so I grabbed a couple blankets which I found from the reception desk.

I quickly grabbed a chair with me which was the minimum I needed and headed up back the stairs.

But suddenly someone made a mistake.

One of the two people who were carrying the table behind me accidentally dropped one side of the table which resulted in a loud thud.

That thud was a loud noise which echoed inside the stair case.

The Zombies on the lower floors were quickly alerted and they started swarming up stairs. The 2 guys speed up there speed and with much effort got the table through the door and then we started making our barricade by the door. Before we even finished making the barricade though there was something which bashed hard onto the door.

That was something which scared all of us.

But the Zombies stopped after a while and we kept quiet.

We waited and waited and eventually after a few hours of waiting we heard the sound of sirens saw a couple of trucks and police cruisers park infront of the hospital.

A man hollered though the megaphone he was carrying that he was part of the police and was coming to save us.

We peeked at him from the side of the building and saw him fighting against the Zombies with a gun.

He also threw a crowbar at us though.

But after disappearing from sight he suddenly showed up from out of nowhere on the roof.

But after he appeared everything changed for he was only here to save the doctors.
