《I Can Respawn In The Apocalypse》Chapter 28: Hospital IV

"Why are you asking that question?"
The people on the roof immediately tensed up because of the question.
I go ahead and answer without blinking.
"Because the only reason I came into the hospital was to save Doctors and secure some medication. All the remaining people aren't really part of my plan for people to save, but I'll do it anyway because it's convenient."
"What!? What kind of officer are you!?"
"I'm not really an officer you see. All I am is a person who the officers are following."
"..."
"Please don't interfere with my search for doctors okay. For I don't have time to waste. All doctors can come on out for we already have a plan to get you out of here safe and sound. If the doctors are to raise your hand so I can get a head count that would be much appreciated. Thank you."
"..."
There was silence, no one raised their hands.
"Hmm? Are there no doctors here?"
I immediately stare at a man who is wearing a white coat. He looks like a doctor, I mean he has a white coat so he's got to be a doctor right...
The man stares at me and then starts to question me.
"What will happen to them?"
"Nothing, will happen to them. I just told all of you, I'll be saving all survivors from this Hospital, after that all of you are going to be on your own. As for the doctors, you can come with me. I have already gathered resources which can last me and my Team at least 1 year. My team consists of about 40 people."
"What! You have 40 people with you!?"
"Yes, and we have Firearms with us as well meaning you won't need to fear the Zombies with us around."

The people fell silent.
"I already have a location set in stone as a base. All I lack are Doctors. Doctors are an essential human resource that I need right now for most of my men are Officers and truck drivers but they don't know much about first aid and all that means your going to be very useful to us. You'll definitely get good treatment as long as you come with me."
There was suddenly a person who raised their hand.
"I'm a Doctor. My name is David T. Bush, I have just graduated fro-"
"I don't need to know where you graduated from. All I need to know is whether or not you can treat wounds. Can you do first aid or can you perform a surgery or diagnosis a disease? All those are better than where you graduated from. Where you graduated from is useless now, for the place which you graduated from be it Harvard or some where else is most likely going to be infested with Zombies. All I need is for you to treat the wounded anything else can just be scrapped for it is useless in this Apocalypse. Understand?"
"Understood..."
"Is there anyone else who is a doctor? If your a doctor I'll tell you what, I'll give you a invitation pass, but it's only for the first 10 doctors that join me if you think that leaving this group of survivors and joining me is too hard then I'll give you a pass, with this pass you are allowed to bring 1 person with you as long as join me, since one has already joined me there are only 9 passes remaining."
By giving the doctors this pass I'll be able to sort of corner the doctors into joining me, putting a limit to the doctors which can receive the pass will make them urgent to accept my offer. This is because they will have an advantage that others don't have. Giving doctors the power to decide 1 person who they can allow to join me will be a bargaining chip which will be useful to them. When you give someone something for free when they usually wouldn't have gotten anything then usually they will take it with a smile and accept the item but since the free item is only in a limited amount they will actually feel relieved to join me.

Sure enough...
"I'm a doctor! I'd like to join!"
"I am one as well."
"Me too!"
Soon the amount of doctors popping up started to increase.
I then state a final fact which increases the frenzy in accepting my offer.
"In this apocalypse this Hospital is probably one of the most dangerous spots to be. Meaning if I didn't come here today you all would most likely have become Zombie Chowder. But since I'm here now, I'll save all of you and bring you out of this Hospital Alive. But, even if I save you out of this Hospital without food you will most likely starve. The world will become more dangerous with each passing day for the Zombies on the streets will evolve. Being with me ensures your survival while staying with these patients will only drag you down."
"What! How can you say that! We!"
I didn't bother listening to what all the useless people were saying and instead started stating in my most calmest voice.
"Staying with these patients will only get you into trouble. Patients are patients for a reason, there sick. Sick people don't last long without treatment. In a Zombie Apocalypse treating a disease is harder than finding food. For treating a patient requires both time and medicine. Do you really have all that time to save a bunch of patients when you can't even save yourself?"
Soon I got a whole bunch of people who claimed to be doctors.
Of course I'm not going to trust all of them. Not just anyone can be a doctor, there are definitely a few fakers among them.
To get rid of the ones claiming to be doctors while truly knowing nothing all I have to do is really simple.
I take a pocket knife which I found in the convenience store out of my pocket and simply stabbed it into my hand.
"AH!"
"What are you doing!"

An unexpected accident during the study of his latest subject of intrigue, however, displaces him across the Planes beyond what any known spell is capable of achieving. Now finding himself lost in a realm rich in previously-limited Transcendental Essences, however, does he truly even want to return back to his old world? If nothing else, plagiarising - ahem, learning new spell structures by observing the local mages should prove entertaining. Sure, there were new dangers in this foreign world, but they wouldn't be anything a fancy bit of spellwork couldn't solve. Though, he would appreciate it greatly if someone could explain to him just what this 'cultivation' business was, why the local Mages were all muscle-brained freaks obsessed with immortality, and why they all seemed to lack any appreciation for the finer details of Essence manipulation. That would be nice.
