《I Can Respawn In The Apocalypse》Chapter 16: Gas Station
Advertisement
Before I get home I'll head to the gas stations to get as many tanks of gasoline as I could for I'll need it.
I have about 20 hours before the End of the Beta Period so I'll make sure I get enough gasoline to set a couple of buildings on fire.
In about an hour we finished loading everything onto the 14 trucks. We also got a couple of Firearms after the Manager of the warehouse told us where they were. We got 1 shotgun 2 handguns. I also found a couple of fire extinguishers which could be useful to put out a fire, as well as a couple of Fire axes.
Were all set to go.
I have everything loaded onto the 14 trucks and can soon set off.
14 Trucks and 5 Police Jeeps on the streets of New York. That is quite a sight to behold. We have a total of 34 people, excluding myself. I'll consider that quite large group.
In the Zombie apocalypse it is usually better to stay in smaller groups and to make as little noise as possible but I just can't do that when I have 14 freaking trucks with me. So were doing the exact opposite.
I have all the Officers turn on their police sirens and blast it at full force.
This created such a loud amount of noise that soon a horde of Zombies had come out from every alley way or house that wasn't sealed off.
The Louder the noise the more Zombies.
I had Jack grab the megaphone and start hollering out survival tips for the survivors out there. I had him tell the people of New York that killing a Zombie can help your body become stronger and if you make your Vitality over 20 in stats you can become partially immune to the virus so you won't turn into a zombie if you can kill enough of them.

There were a few survivors that tried to come to us for help but weren't able to because of the large horde of Zombies we attracted.
We were headed to a nearby Gas Station.
We need a lot of Gasoline to keep these trucks Running.
Without the trucks I wouldn't be able to Transport all the food.
I really need a Interspatial Ring but I won't be able to get it until a month later when the Other world merchants arrive or if I find a dungeon that has it as a reward.
I look at my phone and stare at the google maps app. I'm looking for all the areas that should have dungeons as they were there in my past life.
I remember very clearly that Landmark areas where there is a huge population is generally where a dungeon spawns.
I remember that there was this part of a subway station that's entrance became a dungeon destination.
I quickly found the location of the subway and bookmarked it as an extremely important location.
I also remember that near central parks lake there showed up an entrance to a dungeon as well.
Those are the 2 dungeons in New York that I remember going to and lot lets not forget the site that will become an Other World Merchant Shop.
The EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.
With a total of 102 floors, well technically 103 if you count the Secret balcony. But that building became a Merchant Shop #122 meaning there are at least 122 other Merchant shops, I said at least because there are definitely more than 122 others.
Merchant Shops only show up in areas that have a large surviving human population and New York would become one of those in a Months time. This is also why there is only a merchant shop showing up after 1 month.

I quickly mark the Empire State Building as Merchant shop. I also marked all convenience stores, supermarkets and Hypermarkets; such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy and others.
The reason I picked the hypermarkets were because they usually have 3D printers.
3D Printers are one hell of a good thing in the Apocalypse, they're very rare, so everyone tries to snatch them up like crazy so I better get them fast. This is because not everyone has a gun in the apocalypse and a 3D printer fixes that problem.
With a 3D printer you can simply print out a gun design off the internet for free.
The trucks and police soon start to slow down were not yet at the gas station just yet but have to stop due to the road in front being blocked off by a car crash in front.
The entire road is blocked off.
Damn, now of all times.
I look at the horde of Zombies behind us and know I we need to take out the Zombies first.
Damn! I was gonna blow them all up at the Gas Station.
Take out your guns men. Drivers get ready to make a U turn we need to make a detour. Well ram them in and get going.
The Truck drivers put there trucks on reverse and pressed down hard on the gas.
The 14 trucks each weigh about 13 tons so these trucks smashing into a crowd of Zombie killed most of them.
The trucks backed by going in reverse until it reached the cross roads and we started out detour.
We took out about a 1/20 of the Zombies following us just by doing that stunt.
We shouldn't do that anymore as we'll need these trucks to last us about a month or until I get a interspatial ring.
The truck drivers got a whole lot of Evolution Points but since they weren't exactly part of the attack squad it was a bit of a waste.
We soon got back on the route to the Gas station and reached it.
The convenience store by the gas station was closed and blocked off with racks of items. The front door was blockaded so we couldn't get in.
There are people inside.

Project G00
|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.
