Without an awful lot of a notion towards the idea, Tom tried to recall memories of the figures. Normally the information would surge in, because Theo would forget all the unnecessary details.

But this time he had a clear vivid set of memories, much like the vision he had when he first migrated.

While holding the seam of somebody's trousers Tom was brought to a backyard.

Two children were leaping on a trampoline, water drops sprung up alongside with the two children during each bounce.

The trampoline had no protection net and most of the sky blue safety guards were missing. Laying in the short green grass was a hose still streaming a faint amount of water adding to the muddy puddles sopping wet around the area.

Not to far away from the trampoline was the lady seen in the picture.

She stood leaning on the broad white handrail of the small narrow porch, watching over the kids.

Fading white wavy steam lines swayed back and forth like tides of the ocean, out of the mug placed upon the handrail. Thicker and longer visible traces swayed from the cigarette positioned between her fingers.

Seeing the man crouching and slightly turning in the direction of Tom, a pained feeling in his stomach grudgingly approached.

With a concerned look the man placed each of his hands on younger Theos shoulders.

"Hey kid, I need to talk to your aunt Susie."

Gently removing the hand latched on to his trousers he continued.

"Go have fun with your cousins for now. I'll fix you youngsters up a snack after my chat. "

Without any acknowledgment from Tom the figured turned heading to the porch.

Tom felt safe around the large figure and when he started to stroll away he had an urge to follow and stick close to the familiar person.

But the glare from the lady on the porch stopped Tom from doing those actions.

Gazing at the ground he started watching his feet slowly dragging them in the direction of the trampoline.

At a sluggish pace he heard the bouncing noise becoming louder and louder until he could hear the noise clear and sharp.

Looking closer to the tramp he finally noticed the two children up close.

Leaping off the tramp with a jump the largest of the two hopped.

When he landed his body jolted and shook the ground slightly.

Tom inwardly grimaced by the reckless behavior of the kid.

The second kid looked like he wanted to do the exact same movements however with a hesitant look he decided to climb down avoiding the springs.

"Theo, mum says your going to live with us now."

Finally catching up the second child added.

"Yeah mum says your gonna eat all the meals now so we gotta eat all of ours during dinner from now on."

Smacking the smaller child's head the large one continued. *Wack*

"Idiot mum says not to say bad things around Theo."

"Yeah mum also said don't fight around Theo."

Pondering about the words stated the larger child looked towards the porch. Noticing his actions weren't seen he quickly retracted his hand, as if nothing happened.

"Why don't you talk, did you take a vow of silence like the ninja on Gi Joe because your mum and dad died?"

"No he is grieving because they died, besides I wouldn't speak to you either if mum and dad died. Nobody killed them so he can't take a vow of silence anyway."

Pursing his lips the younger kid thought of a way to refute his brother.

"No, mum said he killed them." *Wack*

The larger child being older knew how mad his mother would be about those words said so he smacked him without the fear of being disciplined.

Tom didn't realise until it showed on his face, but consistent streams of tears trickled down. He felt a sudden weight upon his shoulders and a heavy thud toward his heart.

Shutting his eyes close with all his strength he eventually let out a shrill cry.

Opening his eyes Tom was relieved, he was once again atop on his rough springy bunk bed.

Unsure of his actions he observed that he was now curled up like a ball with his hands grasped upon his legs.

He still felt the heartache in the memories so he rolled over planning on having an early night.

Memories must incorporate feelings and emotions not just the information

Does that mean that my actions then, were not my own

No, my actions were my own but the feelings weren't mine

I should avoid searching Theo's memories while I'm in uncomfortable areas, I wouldn't want my judgement in serious situations to be swayed by a memory

luckily I've gotten used to controlling these abundant amounts of memories.

While in thought Tom drifted off into slumber.

Somehow, sleep felt like the only way to remedy his sadness.

In the morning, Leo went into Sams room while Tom was still asleep.

When he entered the room Sam was about to leave to have his morning smoke.

Sam constantly visited Leo's room just for mundane reasons but Leo never visited unless he really wanted something.

Seeing the worried expression on Leo's face, Sam became slightly agitated about his needs.

During their brief conversation Leo noted about Tom acting differently, like when he started crying out of nowhere.

Sam knew that kids typically acted that way when they first entered Hilton.

But with more thought into it, he mentioned that on occasion it took awhile to sink in until children realized they have been alone amongst strangers.

Awkwardly, the duo paused thinking about their very own experiences.

After serious consideration, Leo decided that he would take Tom with him on his trip to the mall and see if he could cheer him up.

Sam agreed with Leo on the idea but when Leo asked for money Sam instructed him to fuck off.

Waking up Tom was confused, at some stage in the night time Leo hadn't woken him up for his nightly talks and this concerned him.

Putting more thoughts closer to it he realized that Leo may additionally have noticed his weird behavior last night.

Before following his usual routine he wanted to ask Leo if he could go along with him during his day out to the mall.

Strangely, before Tom got the chance to ask Leo, he ended up being told in a matter of fact tone by Leo that he was going to the mall and he had no say in the matter.

Pleased from the sudden situation Tom felt the need to whistle all the way to the shower.

4pm, food court, Barton Gales Mall.

Seated in the food court Tom finally obtained the chance to try out one of the suggested meals that were mentioned during one of his name game classes.

The chickens skin had an unforgettable taste to Tom's lips, with his first taste he realized why most of the students eyes lit up when those three letters were mentioned.

Drifting off in awe of while eating his meal, he soon comprehended how food had developed noticeably overtime.

Only a genius would think of people using potato fries to scoop out mashed potato with gravy sauce on top.

Before their meal Leo introduced Tom to one of his contacts and after that he took Tom around to play pool and mini games all around the mall.

Pleased with his continues wins, he couldn't help but think that Tom was brought up under a rock.

Leo won each and every game except gun games and although Tom was excellent at gun games he was more fascinated in shooting hoops and enjoying pool.

Relieved, Leo noticed that Tom had a smile on his face during the whole day, and seeing this he felt like he had accomplished something for someone other than himself.

Checking his cellphone Leo saw a text message from Sam telling him to come outside so after quickly finishing their meals they left the mall.

When Tom left the mall he noticed two familiar figures leaning on a vehicle parked up across the road.

The cars brown exterior resembled bark off a darkish brown tree.

Compared to the cars that frequented the street this car appeared different, it was shaped like a wagon and the front and back was flat, unlike the curved look of each and every different car the Tom saw.

Two metal rails had been placed on top of the roof and mixed in with the wooden looking exterior their had rusted metal lining on the sides of the car.

When the duo got a closer look they rushed their pace over to the car.

After popping hands Deano introduced his friend.

The large figure was sitting in drivers seat with the door opened, he was fanning himself with a crossword magazine.

Tom didn't get much of a view of the figured but he noticed that the guy was fat with olive skin, he had short hair on the sides and the at the pinnacle it was pushed backwards instead then curving over like Deanos haircut.

He had a baby face that didn't make him appear threatening whatsoever.

"This is Big Hugo, he will be our chaperone tonight."

After nodding at Leo and Tom, Hugo carried on swatting the air with his magazine.

"Are we going out somewhere?" Tom asked.

Interrupting Deano, Sam answered.

"Deano's pals having a party so I thought we ought to go."

Noticing Leo's expression it didn't look like he was fond of parties.

"Me and Tom can just stay at Hilton, we might get in to much trouble, he's only been with us for a week."

Ah, probably scared of the dark Tom thought, frowning Sam kicked Leo and nudge his head towards Tom secretly.

"What's the worst that could happen, lacking out on Ice cream. You know, theirs more to life than just that.

Grinning Sam continued.

"Besides I heard that Taliyas going to be there."

Seeing Tom's smile Leo relized he had no way of getting out of the situation.
