《Truck-Kun's Adventures in Isekai-land》13: Ant-iclimactic

"Stop!" shouted Sheepy.
Urgh... what is it this time?
"There's fat grass over there. Lunch break."
I was getting very frustrated. Every so often, that stupid sheep would say he's tired and take a break. And now he's munching away at grass! I waited for several minutes, disgruntled.
Are you done yet?
"Wait... I don't get to have this type of grass so often. It's very rare."
One of these days I should adjust the contract to make it have to listen to me...
The next thing I know, its going to say it's too full to walk, isn't it? No, I was very sure it would!
You're going to get a stomach ache if you eat too much, aren't you? If you want, I can help you collect all of the grass so you can have it at any time.
To my relief, Sheepy looked pleased.
"Well, look who's finally giving proper benefits! Go on."
...
I started to pick the whole batch and toss it into my inventory. It looked like some sort of aloe vera? Maybe it was. I guess Sheepy didn't know what it was called. It's in some drinks, isn't it? Does that mean it tastes good? I was slightly excited as I bit down on one of the blades.
It wasn't very good... Why would anyone put this in their drinks? I guess it was still better than bushes though.
Wait. I had a brilliant idea! What if I used the aloe vera thingy to encourage Sheepy to stop being lazy? I was pretty sure it was faking it anyway. Weren't wild animals supposed to run around all day?
Soon enough, Sheepy started to complain it was tired again.
"I'm tired. I'm going back to rest."
Sure, go on. That is, if you don't want me to confiscate your "fat grass"!
"You... you devil! Where is the trust between people? Are you trying to get me to leave?" Sheepy gave me the look of ultimate betrayal.

I took out a pile of aloe vera. And ate it.
"Bastard!"
Sheepy reluctantly began to walk again.
"There. Crystals. Wow. Yay." Sheepy said sarcastically.
Well, that took long enough! The dumb sheep was really faking it. It could suddenly walk for such a long distance with a threat!
Before my headlights, I saw a huge mound with a tunnel leading downwards. The grass and trees around us were very lush and green.
Wait, if it's like this, how the heck was I supposed to get the crystals? Oh my god! Why?
"Hey! Heeeey!" Sheepy decided to be annoying.
What?
"Reward."
I dumped a huge pile of aloe vera onto Sheepy. Ignoring its angry shouts, I drove closer to the entrance of the mound. There had to be some crystals close enough that I could grab it with my telekinetic powers. Right? Please be right.
I was not right. There was however a big angry ant staring right at me. Big as in half as tall as me.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something because you had to be an ass. There are huge monster ants or-"
The ant charged right up and grabbed me by the grates. Ow ow ow! That really hurt!
[-1 HP]
I tried to punch the ant in the eyes repeated with telekinesis.
"Skrrrrrr!" it screeched muffledly, refusing to let go.
Suddenly, I felt the pain get to an intense and my body lighter. That stupid ant managed to lift my whole body from my face alone! First that stupid girl and now an ant! Why the heck does everything want to lift me? Did I look like some kind of dumbbell?
[-2 HP]
"Holy shit!" yelped Sheepy.
The stupid sheep! It was running away!
I was flung into the air unceremoniously. Oh my god, I was going to die! I braced myself for impact.
"BAAANNG!"
[-6 HP]
Owwww! My wheels! Thanked goodness though. I really might have died if I landed upside down. I was really glad I invested in DEF too. If not for that, I was very sure I would have died! Who cares about DPS when you can live?

"Skreeeeeee!" the ant cried.
Shit, shit, shit! It was going to attack at any moment? What, what if I tried to give it a contract? I quickly sent the same contract I gave Sheepy to it. I wanted to give a better one but right now I didn't have the time.
The ant seemed confused.
[Contact Denied]
"SKREEEEEE!" the ant screeched, several times louder than before.
Why? Why was it so angry? Did my contracts secretly have the power to piss off literally anything?
As it crawled towards me, several much smaller ants ran out from the mound. They screeched at me too. Reinforcements? Perfect. I was definitely going to die...
"Skreee! Scra scra scraaaa!" went the big ant.
It made some weird gestures with its antenna. The other ants stopped and watched from the tunnel. Big ant faced me. It screeched loudly again.
What? It was telling its friends to stay back so that it can beat me up alone? What the hell? Which part of the contract made it so angry?
I tried to back off slowly as it approached. What the heck do I do in this situation?
Hey Tablet! Tablet! Can't you vaporise this stupid ant? I'm going to die here!
[No. Do it yourself.]
I would if I could! For a moment, I thought about using engine burst on it. But considering how low my health was, I felt like it not a good idea.
Screw it, more contracts!
[Denied]

"SKREEEEEE!" ant was not happy.
The ant charged towards me at full speed. Why did I think this would be a good idea?
In panic, I opened my mouth. The ant flew into it smoothly, and I chewed a few times. It was very crunchy.
...
Gaaahhhh! It tastes so bad! The bushes are heavenly in comparison! I hurriedly stuffed tons of aloe vera into my mouth.
"Stop! That's minnnnneeee!" screamed Sheepy who was peeking atop a nearby tree.
Watching over the entrance was boring. The animals were too scared to come close anyway, so why did it have to? Big ant wished it could be snacking on some tasty snacks! But when it thought about how it was asked personally to do so for the queen, motivation bubbled within it! Indeed, everything was worth it just for the queen.
But to its surprise, a huge box monster came. Along with a yummy looking sheep! Big ant was tempted to strike, but if it ran out, that would be neglecting looking after the entrance.
Then to its surprise again, the metal monster came right up to the entrance! How could it tolerate such a deed? Naturally, it picked up the monster and tossed it away. From the bite, Big ant realised it wasn't very tasty. It decided not to chase the monster as long as it didn't come back. What was the point if it was not tasty?
"Go away or die!" it screeched in ant language.
Suddenly, words appeared before its eyes. Big ant was very confused. Become box monster companion... follow command?!
SUCH AUDACITY!
Big ant was extremely angry. How dare this lowly box monster ask it to betray its queen and follow it! It screeched in anger.
Hearing the cries, its siblings ran over.
"Skrreeee, what's wrong?"
"Are you hungry? I can bring food!"
As they saw the box monster, they realised it must have angered Skrreeee!
"Big sis! We will help you kill that evil monster!" the ants said in union.
Skrreeee was very heart-warmed by her little sisters.
"No, this is my fight! Stay back and let me show you how it's done!"
As Skrreeee marched towards the enemy, the ants cheered!
"Go Skrreeee! You can do it!"
"Kill the bad monster!"
