《Written In Stone》Skylar ~ Chapter 1: My Story
Advertisement
I’m running, running as fast as I can because it’s happened again. My powers have taken over and have caused a hover house to go higher than there ever supposed to go. “Skylar!”
“Oh good, I need you Carsen!” I said.
“Good I found you,” Carsen said, “We need to get inside before the shades are contacted, then you can tell me all about it”
“Kay”
We run through the alley and storm through the guards protecting the illegal Air Jet. We wooshed through the air. I saw the base shift I screamed but my voice was lost in the jet stream. We zoomed past the turn we were supposed to take. I started to panic. We were heading right towards the Shades! Pressure started to build in my ears. This can’t be happening please anything but another take over right now! I felt my powers start to take over, Suddenly I felt something holding on to my wrist. Carsen! I thought. He must have seen my panicked expression and thought to hold on. Then I felt my powers and my free hand started to form a two finger salute and I swiped in the direction of the right side of the tube. Suddenly up ahead I saw the Weather glass shatter, everything was getting sucked out through the hole. Then we were rocketing upward through the sky, It was such a delightful feeling but then we were falling, falling fast. “Carsen! You better have a plan or I’ll kill you before the ground does. “Hey!” “I thought we were friends!” “We are, but circumstances change!” I said. “ ‘kay, hold on.” He said in an exasperated sigh. He put his hand to his waist touching his hip with his palms, fingers pointing away from his body. We started slowing down, “were not slowing down fast enough!” I yelled. It wouldn't have mattered if Carsen did hear what I said because about a second after I said it the impact knocked me unconscious.

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

The Virtue of a Starless Sky
Days have turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into long years without a single sign from the Heavens above.The mythical immortals that once protected the world of Oseo have seemingly vanished in the wake of a mysterious phenomenon that occurred only recently — the startling disappearance of a large portion of the night sky and, with it, the gradual decline of Spiritual Qi.In a steadily decaying era where cultivation is becoming increasingly difficult to practice, vast empires, ancient Societies, and powerful organizations have all begun to fight to secure the last remaining Spirit Stone mines and Spiritual Qi leylines across the world.There is little hope for peace now that the final century of cultivation has dawned on Oseo, but to Laude Tellstar, a simple mortal farmer, none of that mattered.As an ordinary mortal who had no interest in the world of cultivation, Laude had considered him exempt from the fearsome conflict raging across Oseo until he was forcibly drawn into the fray one fateful day… by a single, stray bolt of lightning.After that, his life was never the same again. Dragged into a dying world of cultivation, Laude’s journey to expunge his cultivation base and return to mortalhood will take him across Oseo and into the shadow of a heavenly conspiracy so monumental that it could endanger all of Oseo and beyond…

Neophyte: Common Route
A story about self-discovery, interpersonal relationships, magic and magical creatures-- and a silent war. Marsha is about seven years past adulthood and still feels like a scared child in her parents' home. This is exacerbated when she discovers her father has apparently keyed up his destructive, sadistic habits-- leading to a mad dash out of the house with precious cargo in tow and only one idea where to go. This begins her journey, leading to a discovery that will change her life forever. And she never wants to go back. (Warnings: Lots of descriptions of abusive, sadistic and otherwise traumatizing and triggering behavior that a parent perpetuated toward a child or multiple children. Descriptions of violence, a main character with emotional issues that will be dealt with, and a whole lot of the 'aftermath' of battles in a war. Even a few descriptions of some of those battles. Things of that nature. If you can't handle one of those, please do not read.) {I had this idea to write a 'common route' and then 'romance routes' like they do in otomes? Book 1 is the common route, and then at book 2, you choose your love interest. Each of which is encased in their own book.}
