《The Oddity: The One Who Does Not Belong》A Poem of Farewell
Advertisement
There once was a whisper,
A voice within my head,
I ignored its plea and whimper,
And walked among the dead,
No light to be seen,
No hope was in being,
My purpose, there was none,
My goal, was far gone,
The things I strove after,
The man I wanted to be,
The soft lofty laughter,
The nice kind decree,
The ol' and strong herder,
The long welcoming glee,
All broken and torn,
Leaving nothing but me.
One night my world cracked,
An unopened unwelcome slap,
Enjoying life, then attacked,
Caught within a hidden trap.
All stolen away,
As like the night to the day.
No choice did I make,
No chance to escape,
Death in my wake,
No way I could shape,
All avenues I took,
Lead to him once again.
He stood there and looked,
While I knelt down and shook.
Around me,
Despair wrapped,
With its hard deadly grip,
What was important,
What I could salvage,
Were gone in that grasp,
Where I stood and I rasped.
I missed the one goal,
The last saving grace,
I fell to depression,
I fell to disgrace.
Then I met you,
And the world again shone,
Bright as the times,
Where I once had a home.
Thank you for what you have done,
And I bid you farewell,
This is my path,
And I walk it alone.
So you know,
I made the choice,
One of great suffering,
one with no place.
Where my decisions will lead,
I may never know,
But the future is quite certain,
If I do not go.
Though broken as I am,
And faulty are my plans,
This journey will continue,
Until the end of this man.
No end is in sight,
But I will brave,
For the future may yet be bright,
Just enough to shine on my grave.

Hemophobia
Having a good life Chris never even thought about joining virtual reality. A lot of friends and even more girlfriends. Expensive clothes and cars. A handsome athletic look and highly intelligent mind. In addition a Family that can provide everything to him. Pretty much everything someone wants to have at the age of 20. However Chris starts to have second thoughts about his ''blessings'' and decides to join virtual reality with the purpose of having a very different life there.PS. There will be no violation (rape) scenes in my story. Rape, sadly, is part of our world with many culprits and victims and I don't accept to 'create' another victim OR culprit of such monstrosities, even if they are fictional. The story in general will remain on the bright side most of the time.

Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
