《Heroes of Midlaris》Indefinite Hiatus

The story is not being dropped, there's merely been a change in the hiatus.
I am going to start (second start) by saying that all chapters that Patrons had available are now available for everyone. That means that Chapters 124 through Chapter 138 are now up and live here on RoyalRoad, so make sure to read them.
The return date for Heroes of Midlaris is now unknown. Upon further reflection, I realized that it would take me longer than a few weeks to prepare the story for its return, so I have altered my plans, especially after asking my Patrons what they preferred. This is for several reasons, none of them bad (for the story).
At the moment, I am dealing with a lot of stress. On top of that, Heroes of Midlaris is currently the longest story I have written by, well, quite a lot. It's expected to last around 1,000 chapters or so, with each arc lasting about 125-150 or so (eight total arcs). Writing such a massive story is a stress as I care about continuity and need to constantly check everything to make sure it remains continuous (though I'm sure I've goofed up somewhere). Then I'm feeling stressed with the pressure of getting the story back up and running, especially after giving what turns out to be too short of a timeframe.
Without the pressure of a stated return time, I can work on it without that stress. It will give me the time I need to in order to go through all 138 current chapters, edit them again, update my notes, and then I will write ALL of Arc 2 before returning the story, to ensure that I have plenty of time to work on Arc 3 before it's time for that arc to begin. It will also give me time to sort out the issues going on in my life.

By writing all of Arc 2 before posting it, this will allow me to better-ensure continuity within the story as well and ensure that I can post all of it without having to delay anything outside of events in real life. I will be able to work on it without the added stress of needing to make sure chapters are ready, which will allow me to better plan and plot things for the arc rather than always making it up on the spot.
I do actually have an estimation for when it will return, but I'm not going to announce it because that will only add to the stress I feel, making me feel like I have to return the story by that point. In the meantime, I'll share with you the major arcs I have that are set in stone. Some of you may have already seen them if you're following my Patreon (I think the post with them was available to all). You can find them in the author note below.
This decision is better for me and my stress, and it's better for the story overall. Thank you for your understanding and patience with this, everyone. In the meantime, I do have other stories you can check out, and more stories on the way.

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
