《Paradiso》Shit And Demons

The putrid smell of shit and human excrement wafted into Cain's keen nose. The young man traveled to the sewer at the behest of the young girl, who told him that her parents were taken there by some monster.
Amongst the countless piles of shit and rivers of piss, cain saw the random human organ; walking on the sidewalk to the left of the river of shit, he made his way through the sewer straining his ears for the slightest of sounds.
"She said that her parents were taken down here but I have yet to see or hear anything. Not even the rats are crawling down here, it is odd. With these organs, rats should be everywhere."
"Helpp mee" Cain turned his head and saw the top half of a man floating in the sewer stream. His organs floating in front of him.
Cain smirked, he finally found something. "I cannot help you, but you can help me. Where is the monster that took you located?"
The man started to cry heavy tears at Cain's cruel words, the last little bit of hope he had died with the cold words of the young man in front of him.
Lifting up his only arm, he pointed to the left. "The thing went that way. Please kill it; it has my wife."
Cain stared into the man's eyes and saw the same blue eyes that the girl above had. Then he thought of the type of trauma the girl would have to go through being fatherless and perhaps even motherless.
"I promise I will kill it and any kin that It might have." Cain's eyes started to grow bloodshot.
Cain never did hate pedophiles in the way that ordinary folk do; it wasn't so much the rage and hate that drove him to kill the men and women that he did; more it was the deep satisfaction he got every time he took the life of someone that brought ruin to others.

Moving forward, the same deep satisfaction started to rise in cain, the thrill of hunting something with intelligence on the same level as himself brought him no greater joy.
"I can't wait to rip it open along with the birdman. Every single organ and body part I will document to the fullest. Well... Only after I have my fun with it of course." A huge grin broke out on Cains face, and his white teeth shone in the dark.
Nearing the counter, Cain took out his tranquilizer with his darts. It was imported from the City of Tokyo, a super sedative that puts minimal stress on the body.
It is only a single milligram in weight but can put down a herd of elephants with ease, used only by people who have no issue getting hundreds of thousands of dollars on a whim. The name of the sedative is Aeternum Somnus or eternal sleep in Latin.
-
Peaking around the corner, Cain drew in his breath at the sight of the terror that lay before him.
It had the body of a man but had a huge mouth in its stomach area. And it was currently gulping in whole body parts of a dead woman; her head was detached, and her organs littered the ground.
It was chewing with little sound, only wet swallowing sounds rang out into the air.
"This one likes to be quiet, huh? Well, so do I." Aiming the gun at the creature, he pulled the trigger and nailed the beast in the back.
As soon as the creature felt the sting, it launched itself in Cain's direction and started to sprint at him.
"What?" Cain was beyond shocked that it didn't just fall down there; his darts should have put the thing to sleep right away. Thinking fast, he shot three more darts and hit it in the front, piercing its huge watery eyes and mouth. The ugly beast fell to the ground with a smack and a gurgle this time falling into a deep unconscious state.

Sighing in relief, Cain wiped his for head off with his sleeves. {Buzz} Cain's phone started to ring, looking at the caller he swore under his breath.
"Ah, right my father is back now." Then he answered while grinning at the sleeping monster in front of him, the deep satisfaction burning inside him.
***
Cain stared out the window of one of his family's Vans. Gideon looked over at Cain and sighed.
"Where would you like us to take the beast?"
Cain turned to face Gideon. "It needs to go somewhere safe, somewhere where no one will think to bother us. I want you to pick the most secure place that we own, not my father, and take them to that place."
Cain then scratched his head and inhaled. "I will also need proper dissection tools, along with x-ray scanners."
Gideon smiled slightly. "It will be done, I shall inform you when all the correct pieces are in order. and I will keep the creatures sedated for the time being."
"Good," Cain spoke in a soft voice while smiling.
**
The drive home didn't take long as it was still pretty early in the day, and everyone was working at the moment; traffic was Minimal.
Cain had asked to be dropped off at his favorite pawn shop. Cain liked to go there for many reasons. One was because he enjoyed looking at the new things that people would bring in and sell.
The other reason was that it was the most prominent black market in all of New York, and that is where Cain got all of his "Toys."
The doorbell rang, and Cain walked in with a smile.
"Ah, Cain! You hear to browse or here for the special goods?" A fat but handsome man asked from across the counter.
"Hello Jared, I am here for the special goods, there are some things that I can simply not go without anymore it seems."
Nodding his head with a smile, Jared opened his hand and beckoned for Cain to follow him. "Fallow me, Cain, we got some exciting new things in recently. I think you might like to look at them."
"Lead the way then," Cain spoke out.
The duo walked behind the counter and made their way into the back, passing many shelves chock-full of useless and rather dull items.
At the end of the hall they were walking down, an elevator came into sight. Both got in without missing a beat.
"Let's start at level Twenty-Five and make our way down if you have the time of course!" Jared asked with a smile.
"No worries, I am on a little bit of a time crush, but I should be fine." Cain nodded towards Jared while speaking in a soft voice.
"Excellent!" Pressing a button, the duo made their way down into the bowels of the earth.

Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

8 206Forgive me, I didn't mean to take that!
Murong Yingyue is the heiress to a famous cultivator clan. Except that’s she’s really not, and just a stand-in for the real heiress, who had been sickly since she was born. And she’s not really even herself. A transmigrator from Earth had transmigrated into the body of a female demoness, inheriting her memories. The transmigrator had then later died, transmigrating into her infant body! Ah, Why is it so convoluted? She grew up with those memories, and when she was finally sufficiently strong enough to travel the world safely, she eagerly embraced a leisurely life. When I was a demoness, I didn't know how to live without constantly being on guard and having to calculate every move I make. When I was on Earth, I didn't know a life without romantic drama and jealous women! I'll enjoy these two things you have missed, then! I'll do whatever I want and avoid troublesome people. So... How the f*ck did I get into this stupid cliche storyline? And as the main character, too? I don't want to be the main character! They attract so many senseless cannon fodders and powerful enemies, and furthermore, don't they attract romantic interests like it's no one's business? Someone help me! This will read better if you are familiar with wuxia novels. Discontinued. Apologies to all who liked the story. I feel that my writing style has changed since I last wrote for this story, so I tried to get myself to rewrite the story but I couldn't find any motivation to do so. I also lost the outline I had for this story and don't really remember what direction it was going in, so I want to leave the story as is. Thank you to the people who read and favorited this.
