Hi everyone, I'm back! Sort of. I'm currently working on another project that I plan to release on Amazon at some point so chapter releases will be sporadic. (I actually started my writing career there) Still, I felt an urge to come back to this. I just spent the better part of a day going back through and editing the entire pre-existing book. I've changed a lot of mostly little things, like typos, and logic inconsistencies. If you find anything I missed, feel free to point them out, and I'll take a look. I did make a few big changes though, like removing an awkward freakout by Lois to replace it with a somewhat more heartwarming scene that serves a similar narrative purpose later on, and making Niko learn english a bit less quickly. Also, for the guy who pointed out that Jaden giving up his mana tithe seemed illogical, I added in a few sentences to make it more clear why he needed to do it. I hope everyone likes the changes I've made. They're mostly not super crazy and should hopefully serve to improve the general quality of the narrative. My plan is to eventually write it out to the logical conclusion of book 1, then reassess from there.
