《Math God Plane - On Hiatus》Chapter 6: But it's only been a day!

Shuxue rolled the rock over to cover his Immortal’s Cave.
“Sector Leader is definitely the most immoral person I’ve ever met, other than me!” Shuxue laughed to himself as he thought about poor Huiqi. “But he lets me meditate secludedly whenever I want, and I get to go to all the Algebra dungeons, so he’s not too bad at all.”
Taking out a problem set replete with factorial problems, Shuxue began his secluded meditation. In the blink of an eye, an entire day had passed.
“BROWNWATER SCUM, COME OUT!”
“GET OUT, COCKROACHES!”
Shuxue was shocked out of his meditation by a myriad of voices thundering through the air. The voices came from the base of the ring of mountains that composed the perimeter of the Brownwater Sector, yet everyone inside the Sector could clearly hear them.
“Oh, shit, the Yellowcloud Sector actually caught on!” Shuxue visibly paled as he thought about this. The Yellowcloud Sector... it was much, much larger than the Brownwater Sector! In fact, it had kicked the Brownwater Sector out of the riverland delta it had previously occupied, forcing the Brownwater Sector to relocate to where they currently were.
If the Yellowcloud Sector had come for revenge, then Shuxue was definitely going to die! The Yellowcloud Sector had too many late Algebra stage experts for the Brownwater Sector to contend with! It was said that the Yellowcloud Sector Patriarch was even at the peak of the late Algebra stage!
“WE, THE GREENTREE SECTOR, DEMAND SECTOR LEADER DONG FEILIAO TO COME OUT!”
“THE BLUEDIRT SECTOR ALSO DEMANDS THIS!”
A host of voices cried out, calling for the Sector Leader to emerge. Shuxue blanched as he heard the list of Sectors grow longer, and longer, and longer.
“Even the Whitecloud Sector, the top Sector in this portion of the country, is here… just what is going on?” Shuxue was so astounded, he even stopped doing his problem set and completely forgot about it.

“Fellow Mathivators, please calm down. Let us discuss whatever problems you all may have in a calm and civilized manner.” Feiliao’s voice sounded out across the entire valley and mountain ring. Despite its message, it seemed to contain a noticeable hint of panic.
“THERE CAN BE NO RECONCILIATION FOR WHAT HAPPENED!”
“THE ENMITY YOUR BROWNWATER SECTOR HAS CREATED WITH US CAN NEVER BE RESOLVED!”
A deluge of complaints rumbled through the Sector, causing stones to skitter across the ground and papers to fall off tables.
“I, Dong Feiliao, don’t remember creating any such enmities. Please, fellow Mathivators, I wish to seek enlightenment regarding what happened.”
“A BROWNWATER DISCIPLE KILLED THREE OF MY TOP DISCIPLES OVER A RESTAURANT TABLE, SAYING HIS NAME WAS ZHUJIAO!”
“YES, ZHUJIAO, THAT’S HIS NAME! HE PILLAGED MY SECTOR TREASURY!”
“MINES TOO!”
“He killed one of my Sector’s elders, also because of a restaurant table!”
“He massacred five hundred of my Outer Circle disciples, and twenty Inner Circle disciples at a competition I was hosting!”
“He pillaged all my Mathematical treasures as I held a trial by fire on a mountain, killing all the Monsters and Mathematical Beasts I spent decades raising!”
“I was completing a dungeon when he swept in and took all the Algebra pearls!”
“He killed my son, after giving him no face!”
“He raped my mother! With his eyes!”
The list of complaints was endless. Shuxue’s face paled as he listened. “But it’s only been a day…” He mumbled. “How is that even mathematically possible?”
“This Zhujiao you speak of…” Dong Feiliao spoke after twenty minutes, when the stream of complaints finally ran dry. “I never heard of him! He’s no disciple of my Brownwater Sector!”
“CUT THE BULLSHIT! HE WORE YOUR UNIFORM, AND WAS EVEN USING YOUR SHITTY FLYING CARPET!”

“Ehhh? My flying carpet is gone? Quick, someone go check it!” After a few seconds, Dong Feiliao emitted a phony howl of anger. “This Zhujiao character, he even stole my flying carpet! Fellow Mathivators, I am also a victim of this person! Don’t direct your wrath on me, who is entirely innocent!”
“YOU ACTUALLY DARE LIE! YOU THINK ANYONE WOULD BOTHER RANSACKING YOUR EMPTY TREASURY AND RATTY CARPET?”
“DON’T THINK YOU CAN FOOL US, YOU DAMN PILE OF MANURE! EVEN IF ALL YOUR SECTOR MEMBERS DIED A THOUSAND TIMES, THAT WOULDN’T BE ENOUGH FOR US!”
Shuxue was drenched with sweat. “Even the Whitecloud Sector is here! They boast numerous experts of the peak Algebra stage, and even some early Trigonometry stage experts! If they wish to kill us, not even the mice that just happened to pass by would survive!”
“Ahhh, damn it all. I’ll just go back to my secluded meditation. This way, I can die happy.” Shuxue returned to his problem set. He didn’t even bother to think about the possibility that he would live, because that possibility was zero!
The Brownwater Sect had 1 late Algebra stage practitioner, 15 mid Algebra stage elders, and 42 early Algebra stage elders and disciples! Against them was a host of experts, some of them even in the Trigonometry stage of Mathivation!
“Several Trigonometry stage Mathivators are greater than zero Trigonometry stage Mathivators. Many peak Algebra stage Mathivators are greater than zero peak Algebra stage Mathivators. Similarly, they have more early, middle, and late Algebra stage Mathivators!” Shuxue laughed bitterly to himself.
“Zero is not greater than a number greater than zero. They have more battle power than us on all levels of the spectrum. We can’t win. It’s just not possible.
Because that would be a violation of the Mathematical Laws!”
The moment he spoke this, some screams rang out, and tremors surged through the mountain.
“I’m Zhujiao!”

Sylver Seeker
After fulfilling the duty all arch necromancers are tasked with, Sylver Sezari was not expecting to ever wake up again. But he did. And after crawling his way back into the land of the living, he’s alive once again. In a strange land, a strange time, and with a strange floating screen in front of his new face. Either through plan or chance, he’s alive again, and planning to enjoy himself to his heart's content. -The story isn’t grimdark, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows either. There will be lighthearted and positive moments, as well as some sad ones. That being said, it’s a whole lot more light than dark. -This is a LITRPG story. Chapters are published every 2 days at 21:00 GMT. Author’s note:-It can get very GORY. I’m somewhat desensitized to gore and violence. So while the story isn’t full of gore for the sake of gore, it can get a little too descriptive.-The MC is a necromancer, so corpses and decay, and all the things that come with it, will be mentioned from time to time.-I’m a huge fan of Egyptian, Slavic, and Greek mythology, so expect quite a bit of that. That said, so much is altered, you’ll be hard-pressed to guess how exactly it is being used.-Despite being ‘immortal’ the MC can die. In the event he does, the story doesn’t end, simply time skips forward. Which in some cases is going to be worse than just dying.-I love plot twists, as much as I love red herrings and Chekhov guns. Deus Ex Machina’s not so much. Cover: https://angshumandhar.artstation.com/projects
