《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 76 - When Ashes fall, Legends Rise

Bob used Gust to dash through the pirates, they couldn't catch him he was moving too fast. Bob ended up by the edge of the bay where the Whitebeard was standing on Moby Dick.
"Get him!"
Someone shouted, Bob thrust Winters Chill forward and pierced the heart of one of the pirates. The thurst was quick, barely letting others see what he did. When he withdrew Winters Chill it was surrounded by a gale of wind.
Bob faced the crowd of pirates rushing towards him and swung Winters Chill causing a whirlwind to emerge.
Tempest, a good skill for controlling the crowd and grouping them up.
The whirlwind swept up anyone caught in its path and flung them in the air. Bob activated Last Breath as his body vanished from sight. He appeared in the air next to the airborne targets and he started to swing Winters Chill.
"Ugh!"
Bob landed on the ground and bodies fell to the floor.
Seeing their comrades fall before Bob a group of pirates started firing at him.
Bob whipped his head around and stepped back as he used Wind Wall. Wind Wall created a wall of wind that blocked all projectiles.
The bullets fell right in front of the Wind Wall, not even getting close to Bob's body.
"Seems I can't leave you alone!"
Marco said as he flew towards Bob.
Marco did a flying heel kick but Bob blocked it with Winters Chill.
Marco couldn't use his devil fruit to attack Bob, but combining his speed together with his physical strength, he could still cause some damage.
The ground beneath Bob's feet cracked.
"You're stronger than I imagined."
Bob said calmly as he pushed Marco's leg off.
"Lets see if you can keep up."
"Is that any way to talk to your elders?"

Marco and Bob began to fight.
They were dashing here, flying there and causing chaos all over.
"Bobs fighting Marco to a standstill!"
The marines were amazed.
What they did not know was Bob wasn't using everything he had, there was still plenty of moves he had left. However, he couldn't kill Marco. His regeneration was too strong, Bob might be able to with Mortal Reminder but he was saving that for another occasion.
As Bob and Marco's fight was taking place Little Oars got up off the ground and grabbed his sword.
"Ace! I'm coming to save you!"
Little Oars shouted as he started walking towards Ace.
Various Rear Admirals tried to stop Little Oars but they were knocked to the ground.
Kuma raised his hand and a giant bear paw emerged, the bear paw started to shrink greatly before he shot it towards Little Oars.
"Ursus Shock."
Little Oars Bob trembled as he screamed in pain. The energy contained within that blast was too great as it caused the ice to shatter and gust of wind to blow. When the effect ended, Little Oars was bleeding immensely, his eyes were rolled to the back of his head as he dropped down to his knees.
Little Oars managed to get back up and kept walking towards Ace, but Doflamingo was there.
Little Oars body stopped moving as he looked down.
"What's the matter little beast?"
Doflamingo asked.
"My foot…"
Little Oars right foot was cut off and his body fell to the ground. But even then, he continued to try and reach Ace, but just body gave wave and he collapsed due to all the damage he received.
Sengoku who was overlooking the battlefield felt that if things went on any longer the Whitebeard pirates would reach Ace. He couldn't let them do that.

All three admirals were busy.
"Forget about the time, execute Ace!"
Sengoku shouted causing the marines to hear it.
Wishful Thinking started playing another song as the drummer started banging his drums in a rhythm.
"Up in the sky! What's that?"
People looked and saw something falling out of the sky.
Bob noticed it too.
"Sorry, can't play around anymore. We'll catch up next time."
Bob said as he counted Marco's blow with a kick to the stomach. Bob used armament haki to cover his foot and Marco was sent flying away.
Bob already knew what was falling out of the sky, and since that was happening Ace's death wasn't far away.
As Luffy and his temporary crew were falling out of the sky they heard music playing.
"What is that sound?"
Buggy asked as he heard the music.
"Sounds like music! Who's playing here?"
"Look! There's Ace!"
Charles was rocking his head to the beat and tapping his foot along. He felt a fire in his stomach.
"Legs are tied, these hands are broken
Alone I try with words unspoken
Silent cry, a breath is frozen
With blinded eyes, I fear myself"
Charles started rocking out with a powerful voice. He was putting a lot of energy into this song.
"It's burning down, it's burning high
When ashes fall, the legends rise"
Bob grinned hard when he heard When Legends Rise by Godsmack start playing. The moment was good too, as Luffy was falling from the sky and his legend would really take shape here.

The Blackgloom Bounty
In the dark days before the end of the first millennium, Scotland (or Scotia as some called it) was a leaderless hodgepodge of tribes, clans and warring factions all bent on the same thing--domination of the land. Wizards, sorcerers and magicians still plied their trade, though much of their power had given way to the machinations of men and their war machines. To the south of Scotia lay the realm of the Saxons ruled by Ethelred the Unready and his ruthless minions. To the west, Ireland had just come of age. Everywhere else the constant threat of a lightning swift Viking incursion loomed over the land.Growing up in this lawless world is a displaced Daynin McKinnon, heir to an ancient familial keep on the island of Rhum. He and his grandfather Ean scratch out a living amongst the Saxons, careful never to divulge their clan heritage. That all changes when Kruzurk Makshare chooses Daynin as the ideal prospect to help him bring down a vile sorcerer named The Seed of Cerberus, ferreted away in his impregnable fortress at Blackgloom. Little does Kruzurk know that in so doing, he will launch young Daynin, himself and others on a vast, dangerous quest that no one could have foreseen. *****One Hollywood producer has dubbed this three book fantasy epic from Jon Baxley as, "BRAVEHEART meets THE LORD OF THE RINGS." Real places, people and events flesh out this fast moving, multi-faceted semi-historical series but fear not fantasy readers. There's more than enough of the magical, mystical mayhem you have come to expect from great fantasy. Romance readers, too, will enjoy the 'spice' in these characters--and there are a lot of them--both human and otherwise. And if you're into Viking lore, this series certainly is for you. When someone asks the author about his series, he answers with, “There were far more surprises in this tale than I ever expected and it's not over yet! This volume and the next two contain hundreds of pages filled with rollicking good times, fast moving action and a page turning adventure you will not soon forget."Books In The Scythian Stone Saga:THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY Episode 1 - 500 pagesTHE REGENTS OF RHUM Episode 2 - 800 pagesTHE SCIONS OF SCOTIA Episode 3 - 800 pages
