《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 73 - Broadcast

Bob was surprised to see Rear Admiral Hina, this must be the marine ship she was in command of. He was expecting someone else but this worked too!
"If it isn't Hina!"
Bob said as he raised his arms.
Hina snorted and turned her body away from Bob.
"Why are you turning around?"
Bob asked her but received no reply.
Bob sighed.
"Charles you guys can rest up. If you need anything just ask these guys. We are VVIPs!"
"You don't get special treatment and don't go ordering my men to do things for you!"
Hina said as she looked at Bob.
"So she does speak. And here I was getting worried you were upset at me."
"Why would I be upset at you? You're not worth it."
Bob laughed a little.
"How about we make a little deal. I'll give you some valuable information, one that could cause you to be promoted. In return, you do me a favor."
Hina turned to look at Bob as she thought about it.
"What information could you possibly have that I don't already know about?"
"You'd be surprised. Let's just say this involves the warlord known as Blackbeard."
Hina took a drag of her cigarette and nodded her head.
"Alright. Your information proves to be true, i'll do anything you want."
"Anything?"
Hina adjusted her posture a bit.
"Yes. Anything."
Her voice sounded a bit seductive, making Bob have all sorts of ideas.
"Alright. Blackbeard plans on heading towards Impel Down."
"So?"
"Think about it. He's a man who betrayed his crew, he's all alone now. However, that won't be for long as he will try and build a crew from the criminals that are locked up in Impel Down."

"That wouldn't be good, there are some nasty people locked up there. Who knows what their mindset is like after being locked up for years. How did you come across this information?"
Hina asked Bob.
"I have my sources. What are you going to do about it?"
"I go to Impel Down tomorrow and see. If nothing happens, then i'll just head back to Marineford."
Bob knew that Luffy would also be at Impel Down, but he would have help getting out. He should be fine to still make it to Marineford in time to try and save ace. As for Blackbeard, Bob told Hina but what happened was up to her.
If she did manage to stop Blackbeard from obtaining his future crew, then everything was good. If she didn't, then Bob still wouldn't mind. At least the marines would get a heads up on Blackbeard's true nature.
Later that day Bob arrived at Marineford. He seemed to be the first one to arrive as well.
The first thing he was given was a room to stay in while he was there. Wishful Thinking also had a room.
Bob asked the marines to prepare a lot of speakers for Wishful Thinking so that when they played their sound would resonate in peoples hearts. The marines weren't too keen on letting Wishful Thinking play, but they agreed to Bob's request.
No one knew Bob's true strength, all they knew was that he took down Gecko Moria.
The second person to arrive was Bartholomew Kuma. As soon as he arrived he was called by the higher ups. Bob figured that at this time they'd send him to Dr. Vegapunk so he could convert him into a brainless robot.
When Kuma arrived he looked at Bob for a second. He didn't say any words, but Bob felt like he understood what he wanted to say.

If Kuma knew what was going to happen before he would never allow Dr. Vegapunk to work on him. Therefore, now that he knew things wouldn't go as the marines had hoped.
Bob was excited just thinking about it and wondered what would happen to Kuma once this war was over with. Would he continue to be one of the 7 warlords or would he leave?
Bob's time at Marineford went by fast as he was discussing what music Wishful Thinking should play on the day of Ace's execution. He also introduced himself to the other warlords that came.
Out of all the warlords, Boa Hancock was the last to arrive.
She wanted to ignore him, but Bob told her he was Luffy's friend. When she heard Luffy her personality did a whole 180.
Bob told her that if she wanted Luffy to marry her, she had to do one thing. Just tell him marriage was the best food in the world.
On the day of Ace's execution, Bob stood in a line with all the other warlords. There was Kuma, Mihaw, Dolfamingo, Boa Hancock and Bob. Five out of the 7 warlords were here.
Behind them were marines of various ranks.
Soon the three marine Admirals walked out and took their seat on a platform below the execution platform.
"Why… why do I feel so intimidated!"
One marine shouted as he felt he was being dominated by the presence of these powerful people.
The vast amount of navy soldiers started to cheer loudly.
The cheering continued even when Ace walked out. He overlooked the marines and their formation.
All across the world this scene was shown to the citizens. If they were able to see it, they were definitely watching.
"Ron, why do you think he told us to watch this?"
John asked Ron as he stood tall and watched to broadcast. He was currently with the revolutionary army, but they still had a den-den mushi capable to receiving the broadcast. Therefore, John was watching.
When the image showed, all the other members of the revolutionary army also came to watch.
Ron looked at John and was silent.
"Right, maybe something big is going to happen."
