《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 60 - This is war

The rebel army ran straight past Koza. There was nothing stopping them from overthrowing the king.
Koza dropped down to his knees as he watched the army fly by him.
He could hear a sound, a wonderful beat and a beautiful voice.
"We can be heroes everywhere we go
We can have all that we want"
Koza steeled himself as he got up off the ground. That's right. He could do this!
He could still stop this as long as he got rid of that imposter!
Bob looked over at John.
"You hold them off, i'll take care of the royal army."
"Alone?"
Bob grinned.
"Don't worry."
Bob drew Black Death and charged straight for the royal army.
He started swinging Black Death, no one could stop his sword. Bodies started to drop like flies, Bob was getting pumped up. One of his favorite songs by The Score called Unstoppable was playing.
He made sure to use that Black Death didn't cut too deeply, just enough to cause them to stop.
Bob's movements were too fast and growing faster with each swing. The white lights started to cross each other as the royal guards were knocked out.
"Monster!"
One guard shouted.
To him Bob seemed like a demon that was incapable of dying. Nothing touched him, all that crossed his path fell.
The royal army stopped charging forward when they're members started to fall.
"Who are you?"
A man asked.
"Bob. Stop this pointless fighting, or face my blade."
"Pointless? Don't you see they are rebelling against the king?"
"They are being manipulated. Once the manipulator has been dealt with everything will calm down. Trust in my words."
The man looked at Bob and was about to say something but a gun was fired.

"Ugh!"
He looked across the battlefield and saw a rebel soldier aiming at him.
"Captain!"
One man took to his side and held him up.
"Charge!"
A person shouted from within the royal army.
Bob clicked his tongue.
"You're forfeiting your life if you come closer."
Bob said.
"It's one of him, he can't stop us all!"
"Yeah!"
Bob could clearly hear the troublemakers within the royal army. He knew they were actually people that worked for Baroque Works. They wanted this war to happen, and it seemed that they would get their way.
The royal army dismissed Bob and charged forward as one.
Bob thought he could talk some sense into them, but failed. He started attacking them for real this time and bodies started falling. If they were in his reach he killed them, it was as simple as that.
However, Bob couldn't stop all the royal army. They were too large of a wave, easily ignoring him. The royal army rushed past Bob and clashed with the rebel army.
Even John's side couldn't hold them off for long. Two million people was too much for them to handle.
Bob heard a battlecry, and noticed it was John.
He didn't have time to look back as he was dealing with his own problems, but he knew everything would be alright.
Bob ran into the surge of royal guards and cut everyone down in his path.
The music started to change as a new beat was heard.
Bob saw a large sand storm appear in the palace.
He forgot, Crocodile beat Luffy the first time they fought. It wasn't until Luffy came back that he beat Crocodile.
Bob activated Grand Blessing giving him a burst of movement speed as he darted straight for the palace.

As the rebel army and royal army clashed, Charles was singing.
"A warning to the people, the good and the evil
This is war
To the soldier, the civilian, the martyr, the victim
This is war"
"Charge!"
"This is war!"
The two sides were shouting out as they urged their comrades forward.
Charles' voice could really bring out the inner emotions in people. Even Bob felt something in his heart tell him to fight harder.
While Bob was rushing towards the palace Vivi was already there.
She was watching the two armies clash from the top, as she cried her heart out.
"Stop! Please, just stop!"
She shouted in tears.
The King of Alabasta was pinned to the wall, blood dripping from his mouth. He couldn't stop this war from happening, he couldn't even save himself.
"Run Vivi! Get away from that man!"
He shouted towards his daughter.
"No."
"You started that blinding cloud of sand below. Yet… if I can stop that explosion in fifteen minutes… I can save some of them!"
Crocodile looked at Vivi and started walking towards her slowly. When he reached her, he grabbed her by her neck and lifted her up hanging her body over the edge of the palace.
"If I do that, I can stop the rebellion. Open your eyes, Princess! Your zealous idealism disgust me."
Vivi squeezed Crocodile's hand trying to get it off of her neck.
"Ideals can only be spoken by those powerful enough to carry them out and that excludes you!"
Vivi found it hard to breathe.
"I don't care if it disgust you, I won't give up my ideals!"
"I am the princess of this country! I will not YIELD!"
"Then perish."
Crocodile's body slowly turned into sand.
Vivi's body started to fall to the ground as she thought about everything.
"Vivi!"
Bob shouted as he appeared just as Crocodile dropped Vivi. Bob rushed to the edge and activated Living Shadow. He teleported himself towards Vivi and a shadow was left in his spot.
Vivi's eyes opened wide when she saw Bob.
"Why?"
She asked him.
Bob smiled as he grabbed her.
He swiftly used Shadow Swap to exchange positions with his shadow. Him and Vivi appeared back on top of the palace unharmed.
Crocodile clicked his tongue when he saw Bob appear with Vivi in his arms.
Bob sat Vivi down on the ground and patted her head.
"You just have to have your way don't you Crocodile? You're not invincible."
Bob turned to look at Crocodile with anger in his eyes.
"Someone needs to teach you a lesson."
"You're the one who tried to ruin my plans. I already dealt with the Strawhat, now i'll deal with you."
Bob put his hand on Black Death.
"Don't compare us."
Luffy landed right in between Bob and Crocodile.
"Sorry Bob. I lost to him, but it won't happen again. Let me handle this ok?"
Luffy asked as he glared at Crocodile.
Bob took his hand off of Black Death.
"If you say so."
Crocodile snorted.
"You can't even punch me, how do you expect to defeat me?"
Crocodile failed to see the barrel that Luffy had attached to his back.
Bob knew that with this Luffy would be able to have his attacks connect. Crocodile would lose this fight and be stripped of his status.
