《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 52 - Winters Chill
Advertisement
Bob was thinking of changing his looks to be that of Luffy, then when someone asked his name he could just say Luffy. That would make Crocodile go after Luffy even more so than he did in the past.
Yet, Bob opted against that plan. Instead he would use his own appearance.
He wasn't planning on joining the rebel army as Faceless, but as Bob.
Bob the pirate hunter and rebel. He would turn all the pirates in that teamed up with Crocodile.
However, he just thought about something. He told John he could have all the pirates here in Alabasta, and Crocodile was one of them.
'Maybe he won't notice one missing…'
Bob said to himself as he hoped that was the case.
Bob and his crew entered the casino. Inside there were various games being played and chips being cashed.
"You guys round up everyone and throw them out. Knock them out if they resist, this place is ours now."
Bob said.
Everyone started to move as they started picking people up left and right telling them to get out.
Bob realized they seemed like thugs doing this, but it was for the best.
This casino was large and had a second floor. Bob looked up and saw a man with shaggy brown hair overlooking things.
"Mr. Love."
Bob said as he recognized the man. He works for Crocodile, but he was also posed as a member of the rebel army.
"I should capture him."
Bob said to himself.
"Hassan, get that man up there on the second floor. The one with brown shaggy hair and wearing that weird looking coat!"
Bob yelled causing Hassan to look at the man Bob was talking about.
Hassan locked onto Mr. Love and went after him.
Mr. Love saw what was happening on the floor below and was about to run away to tell Crocodile what happened here. Until he saw a long legged man rushing towards him.
Bob went to the counter where the workers were hiding.
"Come from behind there, let's have a little chat."
The three workers came from behind the counter shaking.
"What do you want from us?"

Bob rubbed his thumb and index finger together.
"Money. Where do you keep all the money?"
"In the vault. Its in the back."
One worker was quick to give up the information.
"What about money at the counter, is there any there? How do people cash out their chips?"
Bob asked.
"It's all done here. We go get the money for them. I can lead you if you want."
The same worker spoke up again.
"I like you. Your cooperation is appreciated. Now lead the way."
Bob said.
"Wait until Crocodile hears about this! He'll have your head!"
One worker shouted in anger at Bob.
Bob turned and grinned.
"He can try. Tell him there's a new boss in town."
The worker led Bob to the vault. Bob saw the huge vault and told the man to hurry up and put in the code.
The man did and Bob saw the large stack of money.
Bob pushed the man into the vault and went in as well.
"Can't have you trying to lock me in here now can I?"
Bob saw that happen before. The hostage would try to pull a fast one over on the robber, locking them in the vault with all the money. Then the police would come to arrest the robber. Bob wasn't going to fall for that.
Bob looked at all the money and licked his lips.
"This is all from one day?"
Bob asked.
"No. This is from three week, Crocodile has been busy so no one's come to collect any money."
Bob seemed to understand and nodded his head.
"Set aside a 100 million for me."
Bob said to the man.
"There's more than that here, you're only taking a 100 million?"
"No. I'm taking it all, the 100 million is for something else."
The man seemed eager to set aside the 100 million. He assumed Bob was going to give it to him for being so cooperative.
Bob figured he'd act that way, which is why he didn't say what the 100 million was for.
After the man set aside a 100 million Bob started to exchange the rest of the money into points.

Bob took a quick look at the points he obtained, which amounted to 65,400.
Bob put the 100 million into a large sack and walked out of the vault.
The man was curious as to where the other money went. All he saw was Bob stick out his hand and the money turn into a white light. After that it vanished.
When Bob came back into the main hall of the casino he saw that everyone was mostly gone except for his crew members.
Bob saw Mr. Love behind held down by Hassan.
Bob looked at the worker.
"You can leave now."
The man opened his mouth, but quickly closed it. He assumed something but he was wrong.
"Mr. Love, seems your at the wrong place at the wrong time."
Bob said.
"You think you're getting away with this? Crocodile will send people here, he's bound to have heard of this by now. When he arrives, you're all dead! Dead!"
"When he returns, we won't be here and neither will you."
Bob sat the sack down on the ground and drew Black Death.
He activated Spellblade causing a white flame to appear on the blade. He started to carve some words into the ground.
"Lets go."
Bob said as he put Black Death back into its sheath.
Hassan picked up Mr. Love but he was moving around too much so Bob had him knocked out.
His group went back to the base John opened up here.
"Take him to a room upstairs and lock him up there. When he wakes up extract everything he knows about Crocodiles organization."
Bob said to Hassan when they arrived back at their base.
Hassan nodded his head.
Bob took a seat and opened up the store.
"Time for my boots."
Bob brought the item he wanted.
[Boots of the Living Shadow]
[Attack Speed + 50%]
[Movement Speed +50%]
[Unique Active: Living Shadow - Teleport a short distance forward leaving behind a shadow of yourself. The shadow will remain in place for 5 seconds.]
[Unique Active: Shadow Swap - Exchange places with the shadow you left behind.]
[Note: Shadow's cannot attack. This skill can only be used once every 10 seconds.]
When Bob read these boots before he knew he had to have them. It basically gave him Zed's skill but without the shadow being able to mimic his movements. The cooldown wasn't that high either.
Best part was the large increase in attack speed and movement speed. Bob would be able to move and attack much faster than before.
With this his build was almost finished.
Bob looked at the next item he would get.
[Winters Chill]
[Attack Damage +150]
[Attack Speed +20%]
[Cooldown Reduction +25%]
[Unique Passive: Winters Chill - Everytime you cut your foe, their actions are slowed by 5%.]
[Note: Winters Chill effect is stackable up to 90%, and last for 5 seconds. Continuing to attack the same target will increase the effect and duration.]
Due to the sword having such stats, its cost was over 100 thousand points. However, it was worth it because of the effect it had.
Bob knew that was far away from now, but he had a plan to have this weapon before the Marineford arc starts.
Even now, with the points he had left over Bob couldn't even buy one piece of this item. It sucked, but it happens.
This item was relatively cheap compared to the other items Bob would get in the future. He was actually thinking of robbing every marine base he could find.
If it came down to it, he would do just that!
Bob looked down at his boots, instead of being just black Bob saw they had a purple line on them. The line seemed to be breathing as it glowed in a steady rhythm like it was breathing.
"Bob, what are we going to do next?"
Tiffany asked.
"We'll wait here for John to come back. You guys can do whatever you want in the meantime. We also need to have a talk with Mr. Love. I'm going to cripple Crocodile."
