《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 46 - Little bit of everything

Bob's brain started to process everything. Strawhats come to Drum Island, townsfolk want them to leave, Dalton invites them to town. Now this is where things begin to drift off course.
Dalton is supposed to tell them about Kureha, the witch on this island who would be able to heal Nami. However, he was asking Bob to do it instead!
Things were wrong!
Where did things go wrong?
'Is it because I came here and introduced myself to Dalton? No, that can't be it. Maybe it's when I told him not to worry about injuring my crew members. He knows I can heal them no problem, he must think i'm some healing god.'
'No, no, no, no Bob! This can't do. Things must go back in the right direction!'
Bob shook his head and cleared his mind.
"Sorry Dalton I can't help you there, but I believe Kureha would be able to solve their problem."
Bob suggested that the Strawhats pay Kureha a visit.
"Come Faceless, you're just being modest. What's a small fever when i've seen you heal worse."
"Dalton, I can't do it. Just trust me on this one."
Dalton sighed but left it alone.
'If I were to heal Nami here, they'd never meet Chopper and Chopper would never join their crew. Instead they'd be trying to recruit me!'
Bob was not about to let that happen.
Dalton took the Strawhats into his house where they could lay Nami down.
Luffy passed by Bob and looked at him for a moment.
Bob turned his face and looked in the opposite direction.
Luffy couldn't see Bob's face due to the mask, but Luffy might sense something. Afterall it hasn't been that long since they've last seen each other.
"Hey Luffy! There's a bunch of snow here, let's see who can build the best snowman!"

Ussop ran forward and grabbed a bunch of snow.
"Watch this!"
Luffy yelled as he started to gather up snow.
Bob chuckled.
"These are the pirates you were talking about?"
Luna asked.
Bob nodded.
"They don't seem like much to me. How strong are they?"
Hassan asked.
"Currently, you could probably fight till a standstill against the man wearing the black coat. As for the other two, I don't know. You may lose, you may not. If Tiffany had a bit of control over her devil fruit she'd be able to take them all down."
Hassan clicked his tongue.
"Next time we get a devil fruit, i'm eating it!"
"You think getting a devil fruit is that easy?"
Hassan shrugged his shoulders.
"Two islands, two devil fruits. Your luck doesn't seem that bad. Hurry up and go to the third island, we might be able to find a third!"
Hassan started laughing but his sister, Sasha slapped him in the back of the head.
"Cut it out!"
"So what should we do now?"
Sasha asked.
"Dalton will be busy dealing with things, but we are mainly waiting on Kureha. Once she heals Nami we can leave the island. For now you guys should train your haki. Use the new methods I learned from Ace. There's a long journey ahead of us."
All four of them nodded their heads.
Bob was considering sending them back to their ship, but opted against it for now. He did not want them to be cooped up all day long. They already had to journey for a few days, so why be bored on the ship.
Jacob was another story, him and his brothers seemed to love being on the ship. Bob did not have the slightest clue as to why.

"YOU IDIOTS!"
Bob heard Sanji yell and looked back.
Sanji was looking out the window at Luffy and Usopp.
Bob laughed and so did the four other members.
"Those guys…"
Bob closed his eyes and thought about something for a moment.
"You guys can go to Cocoa Weed village or to the ship. If anything happens in Cocoa Weed be sure to help them out, alright?"
Hassan and the others nodded.
Bob watched them go off into the distance. None of them were heading towards the ship.
Soon Bob saw Luffy carrying Nami with Sanji by his side. Vivi bent down and tied something around him and Nami.
Bob remembered this scene.
Usopp and Vivi would stay back, but the others would go up the mountains.
Luffy and Sanji ran off and Bob came forward.
"I see they left."
Bob said causing Usopp, Vivi and Dalton to look at him.
"They went to get the doctor."
Dalton saw the looks on Ussop and Vivi's face.
"This is Faceless, he's a pirate hunter."
Usopp and Vivi bowed.
"Pirate Hunter, Pirate. I'm a little bit of everything. Nice to meet you."
"Why are you wearing a mask?"
Usopp asked.
"Personal reasons."
Bob replied as he looked at Vivi.
Bob got closer to her.
"Hmm, you look much better in person."
Bob said.
Vivi took a step back.
"What do you mean by that?"
Bob laughed, he almost forgot that Vivi was hiding her identity.
"Nothing, forget I said anything."
Vivi looked at Bob and she became curious. Did this man know who she was? Did they meet before? So many questions ran through her mind.

Numbers Continually Going Upward
The world has very politely ended in the most webfiction way possible. Everyone is now leveling up in various things. Problems are arising. Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
