《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 25 - Greybeard lives!

Bob enjoyed his time on Vile Island, he was mostly relaxing now that he captured the two pirate crews. All the other small fry were being dealt with by John and the 5 bounty hunters.
Two days went by before anyone knew it. During these two days Bob was continuing to train with John. The two of them were sword users, but considering that Bob's mastery over his sword was maxed out he always had something to say to John. John paid attention and adjusted his stance when Bob pointed out a mistake.
John was slowly improving his sword skills.
As for Ron, Bob started training with him as well. Ron seemed to really like wielding daggers so Bob started to spar with him. During their matches Bob told Ron how he should try to use him devil fruit ability on his weapon. If he could make his daggers seem like that vanished, he'd be able to catch his opponent off guard. Bob wasn't sure if it was possible, but it was just a suggestion.
As for his main goal of getting more den-den mushi Bob put that on hold for now. He still needed to come up with a decent reason as to why Vanthof would visit this place. Granted he could say he was here for some supplies, but seeing as how captain Oswol knew Vanthof, Bob wanted to learn some more background information.
The renovation of the jewelry store was coming along, Bob figured it'd be done in another day or two. They were only adding a new room so not much work was being done.
Bella asked Bob if they could add tables, chairs and maybe even get some barrels of beer. She told him that they'd be able to bring in and keep more customers that way.

Bob told her about his plan to open a bounty shop, he also told her that he was making an organization. It was in the infant stages for now, but it wouldn't be long before they'd be up and running.
Bella wanted to know more details about it, and Bob told her.
She was a little skeptical at first, but once Bob mentioned the pay and insurance they had, she jumped on board. She even said she'd get Tim to join in.
Bob was more than happy to have Tim be apart of his group. Tim could continue to be a blacksmith, but he just needed to share any information he learned with the organization.
On the second day on Vile Island, Bob had Ash meet Bella. The two girls hit it off, and Ash said that Bella was a good pick for Bob.
Bella ended up showing Ash some of her female associates that were willing to work at her tavern back in Blacktown. Out of the six, Ash picked three of them.
Her luck with the cook she heard about wasn't making too much progress, but she said that she wanted to handle it by herself.
Bob let her be.
When Bob wasn't busy in town talking to Bella or Tim, he was on the ship training. His progress into obtaining haki was very slow, so slow that he was rethinking his training methods.
It'd probably be easier for him to obtain observation haki, since Bob already knew a way to train that. However, armament haki was different. Out of the two, Bob considered armament to be harder to train.
He kept telling himself slow and steady wins the race.
He still had plenty of time before Ace was captured and the war started.
On the second day, Tim agreed to join Bob's organization as long as he could conitnue to study Black Death. It was a small price to pay for Bob, but he didn't have a problem with it.

Bob already made a promise to Tim about Black Death, he could study it until he crafted the dragunov sniper rifle.
Tim also told Bob that the auction would start later in the afternoon. He said this auction was a bit special as they were auctioning off a devil fruit along with some strange lion like beast. It had the body of a lion but stood up like a human, it could also talk.
Bob understood what the creature was right away, it was a lion mink. Except he didn't think one would appear here.
Bob's interest in the auction house wasn't exactly towards the slaves or the items. While he would free the slaves, he was more interested in taking all the money the auction house made.
That was his plan all along. Why waste time fighting more pirates when he could just let the rich waste their money at the auction house, then Bob comes in and takes it all for himself.
As for the devil fruit, Bob was on the fence about it. Did he want one? Kind of, but it would be a gamble. No one knows what kind of power you get when you eat a devil fruit, its random. You only know after you obtain the powers what you have.
He could get something cool, or something lame. Not only that, i'd cost him his ability to swim.
If Bob had to pick a devil fruit, he'd rather take Enel's.
Bob got dressed for the auction, he put on some stylish clothes that he brought here on the island. He also changed his appearance into that of Greybeard. Bob put a scarf around his neck and hoped no one would recognize him in this form.
Funny thing is, he's able to change into anyone he wants. Only, he has to come in contact with them at least once before.
He found that out when he tried to change into Whitebeard, his ability didn't let him. He did happen to turn into Shanks, but Bob felt if he walked around as Shanks he'd be the center of attention.
That was something he did not want to happen.
Bob came out of his room and went to the deck of the ship. No one was here right now, everyone was busy.
Jacob and his brothers were doing something. They told Bob, but he forgot what they said.
Bob walked the streets until he arrived in front of a large building. People were lining up to enter.
He made sure to get here early, or at least he assumed he was early. But now looking at the line of people, it seems he wasn't.
Bob's plan was simple, go in and watch how the auction plays out. Before everything was given out, he'd set the slaves free, take any items that interested him and get all the money.
Bob was no thief, but he wasn't Bob today. Today he was Greybeard!
What were the marines going to do? Put a bounty out on him? Greybeard was already dead!
