《Quicksword Bob》Chapter Two - Place to stay
Advertisement
Everyone was excited that they were soon reaching Foosha Village after a long time. They knew they wouldn't be in town for a long time, but it would still be nice to relax after a long time.
Bob was also excited, but he was sad as well. He knew that Shanks was not going to let him continue sailing with him. Afterall, Luffy wanted to become a member of Shanks crew, but he was rejected.
Shanks was a yonko, for him to recruit a kid was ridiculous.
One of the members saw the mood change for Bob and patted him on the head.
"Don't be so down, there are good people here in the village. They'll look after you!"
Bob just nodded his head, he didn't doubt the mans words.
Once the ship reached the shore of Foosha Village, everyone started to come off the ship. The first place they were headed was to the bar.
Some stayed on as they needed to do other work.
Shanks came down from the ship, and Bob could see how much he relaxed as soon as he touched the ground. There was nothing like home for a man, it was a safe haven. Somewhere you could be around friends and family without looking over your shoulder.
In his hand was a wooden box.
Bob knew what that meant, Shanks already knew Luffy from a year ago. Inside that box was a devil fruit, one that would make Luffy become a rubber man.
"Captain…"
Bob looked up at Shanks with a fire in his eye.
"I'll repay you for all your kindness one day!"
Shanks was shocked at first then he started laughing!
"I'll be waiting on that day then Bob! Maybe one day in the future our paths will cross again."

Shanks reached into his pants and grabbed a small brown sack. He passed it to Bob and it made a small cling sound.
"Being a pirate is fun, and there is no greater freedom to a man. However, there are tons of hardships that come along with it. My greatest desire is to live long enough to see the new age come up and see how they shape to world."
[System found Belly!]
[Activating store!]
[Store is now opened. Here you can purchase items to equip yourself with, or an ultimate skill to enhance your power.]
[Note: 10000 Belly = 1 store point.]
A large display was shown in front of Bob. The screen was mostly filled with different weapons, armors and accessories that Bob could buy. On the left side, he could filter the items, and each item was expensive. The cheapest item cost 3000 store points!
That means it was worth 300,000 belly! For Bob that was a large amount, one that he currently would never be able to reach.
After his shock, he found out that he had 5001 store points currently available to him.
The 1 point came from the 10000 belly, and the rest was given to him for free by the system.
As much as he'd like to view everything in the store now was not the time. Bob closed the window.
"Thank you!"
Bob replied to shanks.
"Don't worry about it. I know someone here in the village. Fang! Come and take Bob to the village head, let him know about his situation"
"Aye captain!"
Fang was a rough looking pirate, but considering he was onboard with Shanks his strength had to be amazing. Bob quietly followed Fang around as he lead him to a large house.

"Alright Bob, here is where the village head should be staying. You're a good kid, so don't be out here causing too much trouble."
"What kind of trouble would I cause?"
"Who knows, when I was younger I got into all kids of things. Old man was always on my tail, which is why I decided to become a pirate. Meet some people and have more freedom."
Fang went on as he reminisced about his younger days.
"Yes? Who is it?"
An old man opened the door a few minutes after Fang knocked on it. He was bald and used a cane to help him get around.
"Hey pops, i'm home."
"Fang!? It's been almost what… 3 years since i've last seen you? Do you know that the marines are looking for you now?"
Hearing what his father said, Fang laughed. For a pirate there was no greater joy that being proud of their own bounty.
"And who is this little fellow? Don't tell me you went up and made a kid without me knowing!"
"No! I'd never do such a thing, this here is Bob. He was a stowaway on our ship, but since we already departed and were on our way here we decided to let him travel with us. Turns out both his parents are dead, and he'd almost be dead too if he didn't hide in our barrel.
We'll be staying here for a week or so, but he needs a place to stay so I was wondering…"
"Say no more!
.Fang had tears in his eyes as his lips trembled.
He wasn't the best son, but his father supported him no matter what.
"Come here Bob, from now own you'll be staying here. You can stay where Fang used to."
Fangs father looked at Fang.
"Fang! Look at me."
Fang looked at his father.
"Three years ago when you came here, you spoke of you being a pirate. At first I thought your adventure at sea would be a short one, but now I see its not. When I received the news that you were wanted by the marines, I almost had a heart attack. Just know, that i'll support you in whatever you want. Thats all son."
"Pops…"
Bob looked at the father and son pair.
"Isn't this the part where you hug him?"
Bob asked as he stood on the sideline.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
