Volume 1:
Chapter 1- Ken Itami
A world where eyes set apart the strong from the weak.
The power of the eye deemed the name 'Meoka' is a system of power where each eye colour has different abilities.
Shades of red grants mind controlling powers, shades of blue allows for its user to use illusions, shades of green grants the user to summon objects and shades of purple allowed Invisibility.
In this world there were those known as irregulars, these people were those with colourless eyes and no power to their name.
Ofcourse there is a body to govern these people, they are known as 'null'.
Present throughout the globe were 3 giant islands, Jikan island where the irregulars resided, Dato island where normal citizens with the power of meoka were present and the final island known as Kami island which was a forbidden island only for those from null.
Living in the Jikan island was Ken who despite his parents being irregulars had the power of Meoka and a peculiar kind aswell. He held the power of Black and White eyes which was never recorded in the Meoka before.
"Isn't it time we tell him the truth? He's already 10 years old" said the mother of Ken
With a concerning look on his face Ken's father said: "I guess it's time he finally knows his origin"
Ken arrived back home from school to see his parents sitting on the worn out couch with forced smiles on their faces.
"You're mother and I have something to tell you Ken, wash up and come here"
Ken washed his muddled face with a splash of water so as to not waste the limited water they had.
In a calming tone Ken's father said: "The truth is Ken, you are not our birth son, we found you on a boat heading towards us from the east. I was working near the shore that day and I saw a small boat with a crying baby in it"

Ken was shocked at hearing this, he put his heart on his hand and started breathing heavily
"KEN! You need not panic, no matter what happens we will always be your parents, despite you not being our biological son we love you the same."
On hearing this Ken calmed down a bit and exclaimed: " Why did you take me in? You both already have enough problems living in this island riddled with poverty."
Ken's mother cupped her palms over her eyes, "How could your father leave such a helpless child alone. He knew the pain you would go through living on this island, nonetheless he wanted to give you a chance at life."
Ken dashed out of the front door leaving a trail of tears behind.
He ran as far as he could all the while thinking about why his heart ached so much at that time.
He ran a great distance, he couldn't remember his way back home, on realising he was lost Ken sat down in the middle of the cracked roads and started contemplating about why he ran in the first place.
"Maybe I shouldn't have done that. I wished they'd tell me the truth earlier, I guess it's too late to be sad about it now."
"Whop Whop Whop" went the helicopter flying above Ken's head.
Ken had a confused look on his face as he stared at the black object flying in the air. He did not know what helicopters or cars where.
The helicopter descended a good distance from Ken. From the helicopter came out 2 men in black suits.
These men had green eyes which worried Ken as his whole life he had only seen colourless eyes of his friends and family.
The two men stared into Ken's eyes and with a look of confidence announced,

"Young boy on the road, Come with us, this place is not safe anymore. We have direct orders to get you back to Kami island safe and sound."
Ken worriedly ran away.
"Summon- rope" chanted one of the men.
In no time Ken was lying on the ground with a rope wrapped around him which seemingly appeared from out of nowhere.
Ken shouted for help but to his misfortune he was too far away from the mainland.
The men forcefully took Ken Into their helicopter.
A swarm of helicopter were arriving the island from the east. On seeing this one of the two men with a cigarette in his mouth said: "I guess it's already time, damn we have to hurry out of here with the kid".
The helicopter containing Ken and the two men flew up in the air. Ken angrily exclaimed, "Where are you taking me! I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY PARENTS."
"SILENCE! Your parents?" Laughed the blonde man.
"Do you even know what's about to happen? You're entire island is going to go KABOOM!, You're parents, you're friends they're all going to disintegrate into the air."
The man with white hair said: "Charlton, why do you want to scare the boy? You need to remember he's not a hostage."
"Yeah I know who he is" scoffed the blonde man.
"Remind me again of who he is" said the man with white hair in a mocking tone
"Tch, He's the son of our boss and one of the leaders of null, The First."
With horror in his eyes and his mouth wide open, Ken said with curiosity and pain in his voice,
"My dad?"
Charlton replied, "You don't need to worry about that son, we're about to show you a light show. Turn around"
Ken turned around slowly with his heart clenched tight.
"KABOOM" went the bomb dropping from the black fighter jets.
The entire sky was filled with white missiles dropping slowly to bring millions of people to their demise. There had to be atleast 2000 helicopters in the air.
With a blank face that showed nothing but anger and confusion, Ken screamed at the top of his lungs.
Ken eventually stopped screaming but his face did not. He turned around towards the two men, his black and white eyes turning pure white almost as if his soul had left his body. He said under his breath, "kill them all".
The entire sky was filled with spears of light, it looked like the reckoning of a god. The spears of light travelling at inhuman speed struck all the helicopter simultaneously causing demise for everyone in them including the aircraft Ken was in.
