-Tar’rl’s Tips-
Origin Energy, as its name suggests, the origin of all manners of energy in the multiverse. It's not magic, but magic originated from it. After hearing it Kenshin fell into contemplation as he tried to digest this new information. He didn’t know there was something above magic as well. The mystic properties of magic already baffling enough, what would be Origin Energy be like?
The very existence of Tar’el, Core, the kid from Sylph race, were living proof of that strength. With a few drops of god blood, Tar’el was able to create herself a physical body and even given herself a few skills. What does that mean? It means Origin Energy is such an energy, it could even create skills one wished for.
“So, what skill did you create?” Kenshin asked, wondering what she created for herself.
“It’s a secret for now. Don’t worry, I will show you when the time comes. Hehee!!” Tar’el’s secretive laugh rubbed him the wrong way, making his eyes twitch. Glaring at the sneaking fairy, he mumbled, “is it revenge? Are you taking revenge because I didn’t tell you about my abilities back then?”
“Fufu, I wonder…”
“Sigh, so, can you give us some tips?” Kenshin asked while looking at the fairy seriously. The current him was kind of stuck in a quagmire. He couldn’t decide which path to take.
“Hmm, let's see. Kenshin, let me be honest with you about something. It's been months since I am with you, and during this time I have seen your strength and your fights with various opponents so far. Seeing everything, I concluded a very crucial fact.” Tar’el looked Kenshin seriously in the eye and said, “you are not using your already monstrous strength perfectly. There is a lot of wastage of strength when you use skills or even simple maneuvers.”
“Wastage of strength? What do you mean?” Kenshin looked confusedly. He couldn’t understand what does she meant by wastage of strength. No matter if he swings a sword or cast a skill, everything he does was according to optimal movement and conservation of energy, how can she say that he wasting it?

“Let’s see, take punching a hole in the wall for example. If we quantize the units, it takes 5 points of energy to do so. General people use 5 points or maybe 6 points of energy. Whereas, a skilled person trained in energy conservation, would only use about 3 points to achieve the feat.” Tar’el looked at Kenshin in the eye. Her cold ones peered into his black pupils, “You, however, use more than 10 points of energy to do the same chore. Don’t you think it’s a huge waste of energy? Just because you have it more than others doesn’t mean you can use it as you wish.”
“I see” Kenshin nodded as he slowly understood her point. It's true indeed, he was wasting more than five points of energy just because he has it. It's like he’s breaking a sandcastle with the help of a bulldozer. Only a little nudge would do the trick but he was using an option that would use more resources from him.
“You might have been able to kill the monsters of this world in the shortest time using overwhelming strength. However, sooner or later you will face people as strong as us or a little weaker, when that time comes, having overwhelming strength will not be enough. In fact, when you fight with them, you should conserve as much energy as possible because the fight will not end in just a few minutes or seconds.”
“I got it.” Kenshin nodded. Nonetheless, it was the first time Tar’el showing her usefulness, Kenshin had no reason to not listen to her. Moreover, what she was saying was indeed true. He also noticed how he wastes energy in performing certain moves or even while using his skills. With his WIS and INT increased, he gradually became sensitive both to the magic in his surroundings and inside his body. Due to which he gradually understood the usage of magic for each skill even without the system helping him out. Therefore he understood the meaning behind Tar’el perfectly.

“Since you asked me for tips, I will give you one.” Tar’el then waved her hands on the air, forming what looks like a circle with a lot of things written on it. She pointed to the circle with her other hand and said, “this is a restrictive circle I made using what remained of the Origin Energy. I will place this on your body, this will prevent you from wasting your energy. Of course, it will also limit your extra energy corresponding to your level.”
“Eh? Restrictive circle? Never heard of it, how did it work?” Kenshin looked at the circle attentively while rubbing his chin.
“You won’t understand if I say the principle outright. Just know that it's based on the same language those Faceless giants write their contracts.” Tar’el said in a voice that hinted how pleased she was about knowing the language. Faceless giants may be cursed and had a bad reputation for being liars, but the language they use to write contracts was famous throughout the multiverse. For a while, they even guarded their language with their life. If not for the multiversal threat they faced later down the years, they would have never publicized the language.
“Eh? Faceless giants?” Kenshin couldn’t help but make a face as the actions of Core flashed in his eyes. shaking his head he looked at Tar’el, “you sure it will work?”
“Don’t worry. I know you have a history with a Faceless giant, but this circle is fully written by me. There is no problem with it. Also, with the restriction, I am also going to give you the key to release it so that you can use all your power in case of facing an enemy stronger than you.” Tar’el shook her hand showing there’s nothing to worry about.
It would be not the first time for Kenshin to experience a limit on his power as he had done so once when he started to train with his abilities. This time, however, it will be the first time doing something like ability sealing that wasn’t given by the system. Hesitation could be seen all over his face, but, he knew Tar’el wouldn’t do something that will hurt him.
He and she are in a state of symbiosis. While Kenshin depends on her for some of his stronger skills and the 500% passive, she needs him to one day free herself from the seal that was placed upon her. Knowing this, she would never do anything that could harm him intentionally or unintentionally.
“Alright, plant that seal on me now.” Taking a leap of faith, he decided to give her the benefit of doubt.
Tar’el pointed one of her fingers towards him as the small circle entered his forehead, in the space between his eyes. As soon as it did so, strands of light emerged from that place, forming golden chains made of the same characters as was written on the circle. It snaked around his whole body, forming an intricate network somewhat resembling what he saw on Yuki’s body. The light work done in a few seconds, then a notification popped up.

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.
