The traveling time from Mito to Orai port is about one and a half hour, given there was no traffic in the middle. Since it was a government affair, there was less likely to be stuck on traffic. As there was so much time in his hands, Kenshin decided to reevaluate his stats and make some improvements if possible to them. So closing his eyes, he pretended to sleep to not cause any suspicion, especially from the woman beside him.

With just a thought, his detailed stat displayed in front of him.

First, his attention shifted at his level, its now 82. Only 18 more levels, and he would be able to undergo his first awakening. Although its only 18 levels, the amount of EXP required was nothing to scoff either. Just to level up once, he needed seven million experience points, how many of these low-level monsters he needed to kill for that? Unless he finds and defeats monsters above level 100. He would never keep up the current speed of level up. Because he knew, only monsters above that level could give him enough EXP to safely and quickly level up. But there were no Lv 10 dungeons near Mito. Even in the entirety of Ibaraki, there was no level 10 dungeons.

According to to the forum, the nearest Lv 10 dungeon near to his place was at Niigata, that’s approximately 333 KM away from his home, taking half a day just to reach there. There were also no flights to that place, so he could only travel by train. Of course, there was a subway too, it would save him ten hours of travel. But to travel through the subway, he needs to arrive on time. As a hunter, when can level up to be possible in a time frame? There was also his Burrow skill, but traveling 333 km underground would take him one hour, he wasn’t sure that he could handle one hour of underground travel. He wasn’t an earthworm.

Kenshin had thought of going into that dungeon before this sea monster event turned on him. He thought of it as a chance. Form what he had heard from Yuki, there were a few high-level monsters among the group that harassed the fishermen and other port services. These monsters were so powerful that even the assigned hunters to government cargo ships, who tend to be high leveled themselves couldn’t hope to defeat. Until now, six ships were already sunk to the bottom of the ocean by these despicable monsters.

Kenshin hoped that they were really monsters beyond level 100.

After the level, he came to his total stats. Among them, the highest was his ATK, then the close second was DEF. A few clean hits and even a monster beyond level 50 would bite the dust. His ATK was nearly 1500, so he took some time to get used to it. There was nothing to train about DEF, its simply there to lessen the number of hit points he receives. PHY was responsible for his total HP and other rejuvenating abilities, stamina and MP were also affected by this stat. It could also be said that it's one of the most important stat around.

After PHY, INT was highest at 783 points, making his total MP 1566 points. Its main purpose was to increase MP as well as improving his brain. He yet to see any other tangible difference of this stat though. There was another stat that’s closely linked to INT, and that was WIS. Basically, it has two functions, one is to increase his magic control and others to make him analyze things quickly. His WIS was only 220. After INT, WIL was highest. There were many things he didn’t understand about WIL, its definitely one of the more obscure stats around, second only to the elusive LUK. His WIL was 460. Kenshin remembered Core once mentioned that WIL was also responsible for a hunter to not succumb into the lure of power and lose themselves.

With one’s increase in power, their WIL must also increase accordingly to maintain a balance. Or else the power of other stats would overwhelm the hunter. Noticing his unused 80 AP, Kenshin steeled his mind and dumped everything to WIL. Suddenly, he felt like his resolve becoming harder, as if nothing could scare him away anymore. He also felt some sort of connection around him, as if he could change everything around merely with a thought. It's very unique and kept feeling that sensation for a good long fifteen minutes, before slowly fading. In his psyche, Kenshin noticed the umbrella also become more defined than before. Although it's still transparent, the outline was clear now.

He longed for the day when he could manifest it completely like Lily…and use its power to do unblockable damage. But even with these eighty points, his WIL was still not half of his ATK. Core said to keep his WIL half of his ATK at any time, or else imbalance would occur, and his ??? would take over.

After stats, he came to titles. He currently had three titles that he could choose from. One was [Bane of specters] that would give him a 1% ATK increase per one undead class monster kill, [Ekla’s guardian] which gave him 50% more EXP and finally [Surpasser]. Among all his titles, [Bane of Specters] would be ranked for OPness, but it had the requirement of killing undead class monsters first. The close second that could be used in any situation was this [Surpasser]. He had gained this title after unintentionally killing that snake Lyda had summoned.

There were total 4 benefits of this title, one 10% stat increase when fighting a monster stronger than him by 1 level. 20% stat increase when facing an enemy stronger than him by 5 levels. 50% when facing an enemy stronger than him by 10 levels and finally 100% when facing an enemy stronger than him by 20 levels. This title would strengthen him all the same as [Bane of Specters], but unlike later, it had a cap on how much it can strengthen him. Whereas [Bane of Specters] had no such restrictions. During that dungeon break incident, he was strengthened to the point of shredding dimensional holes with his fist alone. Kenshin hoped to reach that level again someday.

For this current mission though, Kenshin decided to go with [Surpasser] title.

The came lives, he had five of them, so he had five lifelines. Kenshin hoped to not face a situation where he had to use them. He was not in any hurry to meet that skeleton in the afterlife. Then he came to his collection of skills. Including old and new, he had a total of 27 skills. Among them, 12 were passive skills with varying effects. The rest were active skills. But nearly all of them was an attack or defense-oriented skills. He didn’t lack in them at all. What he lacked were agility based skills. His agility was very low in comparison to his ATK and DEF. Sometimes, even if he pictured the scenario, his body didn’t obey the commands, making him feel stiff. It was all due to his low agility.

The only movement based skill he had was [Burrow] and [Highspeed movements]. Looking at this, he decided to buy a few agility based skills and if possible, some passive skills that would aid him in upcoming battles.

With these in mind, he opened the system store to browse through skills. He had more than enough money to spare anyway.
