After gaining the system, he was never so helpless. Even while facing that snake woman, he at least was able to evade and run, but against this Lily, he couldn’t even put up a fight. Her attacks were also very strange, it was shaving off his HP without leaving any visible wound on his body. He could even feel pain. He couldn’t make heads or tails about any of this. The pain subsided after a few seconds, and HP also regenerated as his Passive Regeneration kicked in.

“Hey! What's your problem, huh? Why are you attacking me? And what’s wrong with that attack, why can't I block it?” Kenshin was now pissed off. Seeing that his passive regeneration could heal his wound, he had gained some of his confidence back. But still, he was way more angry than anything. To be suddenly being attacked, that too by such a weird attack, anyone would be pissed off by this.

But the Lily only replied to him in the form of another whiplash. He didn’t make the same mistake twice and dare to block those whips. Using his [Highspeed Moments] to it’s maximum, he evaded them from a hair's breadth away. As this continued, Lily couldn’t help but frown. She wanted to force Kenshin into a dire strait and awaken his power which he had shown in the office earlier, but it seems the work for her would be harder. This Kenshin’s speed was way beyond her imagine. But she wasn’t worried, its just the start after all.

With just a thought from her, the single whip split from the middle, becoming two whips that moved in two different directions, limiting Kenshin's’ scope of movements even more. Kenshin who was about to backpedal to avoid a whip to his face, suddenly startled as the other one arrived aiming at his back of the neck.

Cursing her under his breath, he squatted down then rolled on the ground to his right, before standing up and running away. But those whips as if having a mind of their own, immediately chased after him, even if he went out of their area of effect.

“Dammit!” cursing loudly, he again took advantage of his AGI and Highspeed Movements and ran zagged in an attempt to close on Lily at the same time evade those whips. As if hearing his thoughts and seeing through his intentions, Lily gave him a smile before backpedaling herself. She also ordered the two whips to return to her side and surround her completely. In this way, if Kenshin comes too close, he would immediately be attacked by those whips.

Clicking his tongue in anger, he extended his right hand as a purple flame condensed on his palm. The spark of flame transformed into a huge burning fire that speeds towards Lily at a very astonishing speed.

With a flick of her wrist, Lily commanded one of the two whips to transform into a golden dome. When the purple fire blasted into the dome, except for a few sparks, it did nothing to it. Even when the ground below dismantled into their molecular states, the dome itself remained unchanged. A deep five meters trench was formed around the dome due to the effect of the skill used by Kenshin.

Although there was a smirk on Lily’s face, on her heart, she was no less surprised as Kenshin when he saw her attack phasing through his barrier. Kenshin hadn't seen it, but there was a tiny hole opened in the dome-shaped golden forcefield. Unexpectedly Kenshin’s skill was strong enough to damage the weird power she was using all along. Taking a deep breath she celebrated in her heart for founding such a rare gem, now she just had to use a little more force and make Kenshin use all his hidden power, especially that Intent he had shown earlier.

She could just explain everything to him and make him show his Intent instead of going through this annoying process, but by doing so, she wouldn’t be able to see the unpolished raw power his Intent held, which she suspects to be huge.

“Pretty strong skill you have there…but ultimately it is useless. Now be good and show me your Intent.” With a smile tugging her lips, Lily shook her head and reprimanded Kenshin.

With eyes red, Kenshin glared at her. Although what she said could be taken as a joke, he couldn’t tolerate someone talking to him like that. Giving off a loud roar, the ground beneath his feet cracked and caved in as he propelled towards her with his hands covered in purple flame, the effect of [Destrcive Energy Manipulation]. At the same time, he also used the Vibrating skill to coat his hands, just below the destructive energy in the shape of fire. By doing this, somehow the damage was doubled.

Appearing in front of her in a flash, he sent the punch at the dome. With a loud booming noise, the dome barrier shook violently but didn’t break, on the other hand, Kenshin had to step back a few times to endure the recoil. At the exact time, the forcefield broke again and reformed into a whip before lashing towards still stumbling Kenshin. The whip landed on his stomach, sending him flying a few dozen fo meters in the air before he fell into the road.

“AAH!!!” the pain was unbearable, making Kenshin who had a huge amount of physique to scream loudly. Even with his high amount of endurance, he could still feel pain beyond anything he had felt in his life.

Looking at his writhing form, Lily also smiled a little, thinking in her heart ‘This Kenshin is really hard to deal with. If I have not used that skill of mine at the nick of time, he would have really broken my shield.’

Passive Regeneration kicked in again, healing the damage he received. The pain also reduced by then. Standing up, he glared at Lily before shouting it rage, “That’s it. Now you really pissed me off.” Forgetting everything about concealing, he immediately summoned his ‘Ruby sword’ which started to glow red in response to his anger. A red colored hue was formed just above the sword edge which was gone unnoticed by both Kenshin and Lily. With eyes red like blood, Kenshin leaped towards Lily again with his sword blazing in purple flames.

Lily hastily conjured her dome of golden forcefield again in an attempt to stop Kenshin’s onslaught. When he was just a few meters away from the dome, Kenshin rotated his sword and made its pointy tip face the dome of forcefield. A large amount of purple light gathered at the tip, below it was a huge concentration of red light.

As the sword tip and does came into contact with each other, sparks flew as the sword struggled to pierce through, but the dome remains strong, not even buzzing. Seeing that he was failing, Kenshin added even more force behind his push as well as more destructive energy into the tip. The red light below the purple fire as well above the actual sword top also intensified, as if it was responding to Kenshin’s anger.

“Come on!!” Kenshin shouted loudly as the sword began to shake at the force behind Kenshin’s thrust and the dome’s defense increased. The sparks also intensified making a very loud noise. At that time, the red light at the tip of sword intensified and shined, then suddenly the dome started to crack as if it was made of glass. A smile tugged into his face when Kenshin saw the crack, but it soon stopped as he felt a mindnumbing pain in abdomen again. Looking down, he saw a golden colored rod smashed heavily into him, the other end of the rod was held by Lily’s right hand.

Until now she was only using her left hand to battle against Kenshin. Before he could comprehend what just happened, he was blasted back due to the force of the rod. The place where the rod smashed against him, the clothes, more specifically the Blood Armour was broken into pieces, revealing his naked skin below.
