-Vol 5: A New Life-
-Escape-
No 5 decided to escape, finding it really unfavorable for him to engage with this clearly powerful enemy. The only reason he was hesitant because of the presence of these guys who could potentially expose their secret organization. These old men who were too immoral, under some pressure, could expose everyone involved. Their guild was doing this business for many years and for that reason they had quite a huge network build on. If even one of those huge network’s string were caught, everyone would get exposed. If the guild were exposed, there wouldn't be much problem…but if those people associates were to be exposed, huge trouble would come their way. He couldn’t allow that. He had to finish off these guys before escaping.
As such he made his mind, but Kenshin didn’t give him the opportunity to carry out his plan. He was on his ass the moment he stabilized himself. Holding a shield on the one hand and a few floating arrows on other, Kenshin instantly set his sights on No 5. Giving him no time to recuperate, he commanded one of the two arrows to rotate at a rapid pace and fly towards the young man’s direction. A purple arrow streaked across space and appeared instantly in front of No 5’s face. As he used the skill, his mastery and proficiency also rapidly increased making his constructed arrow have more deadly momentum.
“Shit!” the young man cursed loudly and retrieved something from his pocket. On closer inspection, it was a miniature red colored gauntlet. Hastily transferring his magic into it, the gauntlet began to glow red before a transparent shield appeared and protected him from the arrow. At the same time, the gauntlet was also increased in size, making it appear as a normal gauntlet. No 5 hastily wore it on his left hand and clenched his fist. At that instant, another transparent shied conjured just below the first layer. A few milliseconds after, the purple arrow which hadn't stopped its momentum, drilled a hole on the first layer and slammed into the second one.

No 5 paled in fright when he saw one of the transparent shield breaking into peace. He knew how strong these shields were and to break them, these arrows must contain some deadly power. What made him, even more, frightening was the property fo those arrows. He had tried attacking with his poison many times before, but his poison wasn't enough for that shield to break. It's due to that he was so confident of countering Kenshin’s arrows as he assumed them to be of the same property as his poison skill. But clearly, his skill was quite inferior to this masked soldier. What he didn’t know was that Kenshin’s skill wasn’t poison or corrosion, rather something more dangerous…its pure destruction. If his skill could poison and corrodes, Kenshin’s skill could even destroy that corrosion.
Although Kenshin’s arrows could break the shield put forth by No 5, it evidently took some time. For No 5, to activate his second skill, it was more than enough. It was what he had planned from the beginning, by using his second skill, he would pollute the whole place with his toxic poison. Even if he couldn’t kill the soldier in front of him, at least those, middle-aged men wouldn’t be spared.
Unaware of his intention, Kenshin poured all his power into breaking the shield. It was during that time, suddenly his eyes flickered. He observed a strange violet light coming out of No 5’s right hand whose palm was facing towards another side. Before the arrow broke the second shield, No 5 moved his left hand. His gauntlet flashed again, this time a violent gravitational force generated and slammed into the arrow that was about to break the second shield. Due to a sudden change in the gravity, the arrow’s tilt was messed up by a small margin, making it fly towards the roof, missing No 5’s head by an inch.

Before Kenshin could understand what’s going on, No 5 punched his gauntlet hands into the wooden floor again. A huge wave of gravitational force surged from the gauntlet he was wearing as it spread across like waves from the sea.
Boom!!
The whole room caved in as the wooden floor turned into tiny splinters. The roof separating the third floor and the floor below totally destroyed by the young man and his gauntlet. All the furniture and materials that were once a part of the principal’s room fell down to the floor beneath. Losing his footing, Kenshin tried his best to stabilize himself, at that time his eyes landed on the three girls who were present when he entered this place. They were already unconscious from the magic fluctuation between him and No 5 and were also freely falling with other things from the room.
Narrowing his eyes, he flashed towards them and grabbed hold each of them before safely jumping into the ground beneath. He didn’t check on No 5. Already knowing that he had escaped. He wasn’t worried though, his map’s marker was already on him. No matter where he goes, as long as he’s within a hundred kilometers radius, he could track him down. His first priority was though these girls and the remaining members of the racket. Although this No 5 could lead him to the mastermind, he was in no hurry. He also knew that those middle-aged men whom he had incapacitated were already dead, courtesy of that last attack made by No 5. That’s why he didn’t bother to check on them, besides, checking their identity was the job of police so he should let them handle it.
Placing the girls on the floor, he examined them one by one and frowned at their slow heartbeat and slightly high temperature. He concluded that it might be the effect of some kind of unique drug these people were letting them consume. Understanding the gravity of the situation, he opened his phone and gave a call to Yuki as he didn’t know the number of Lily.
-Huh! Kenshin? Is the job done already?
On the other side, Yuki sounded astonished. It was only 9 PM, too soon for him to crack down a huge racket.
“Um…well 60% done. Send someone over this place as soon as possible, there are some girls here who were heavily drugged. I think they need immediate medical attention.”
-What do you mean 60% done? And I have already made a few back-ups to wait in the vicinity, they will be there shortly.
“Okay! Thanks. As for 60%, a fish escaped from the net…a rather big fish. I am going to pursue him. If I can capture him alive, I reckon the whole school of fish would be getting caught within this month or maybe this week.”
-Okay! Be careful, okay!
“Don’t worry Yuki. I know when to advance and when to retreat. Okay, see you later!”
Disconnecting his phone, Kenshin set his sights on the rapidly approaching people from all over the school’s compound after hearing the loud noise. Some were scantily clad while others were full-blown naked. Every one of them holding either a hunter weapon or a gun in their hands. Their levels were also not that low, most of them were between level 20 to 25. Seeing them, a red light flashed in the eyes of Kenshin. Clenching his fist, he ran towards them with intentions of laying waste to these low lives with his fists alone.
