-Lava Monster(2)-
Obviously, Kenshin used his vibrational power for it. He didn’t know the correct Richter scale at which the quake occurred, he didn’t know at what Hz was the frequency of the vibrations, but he could feel it with his body. He felt the earth shake, felt the ground move and even felt the vibration themselves. It's like touching a bucket of hot water with his hands, despite not knowing the actual temperature, one can determine when it was dangerous for the body.
With his Heart of Rhythm, he determined the force and even the source of it. And with the help of that, he produced a freq that totally opposite of the earlier produced freq. he instinctively knew that the freq at which he produced vibrations would be uncomfortable for the source and would force it out of its hiding.
But Kenshin underestimated the power of magic. He underestimated just how vicious magic can be when it was controlled. Due to repeatedly fighting with his magic, Kenshin was slowly getting used to his WIS and INT stats. The subtle use of Opposites in his daily lives also helped a lot in achieving control over those two stats. As days passed, his control over it slowly strengthened as he got used to his WIS stat. The strong control over his magic helped him to improve his magic-related skills. Even his magic regeneration was affected due to this.
And the proof of this lied in front of his eyes, in the form of violently ripped earth, that looked like a giant just punched a hole through it. He didn’t expect for his skill to be this devastating and all he did was sent a counter frequency to the frequency that generated earlier. Skills were always like that. while Kenshin was pondering about the devastation he just caused, the pool of the volcano moved. The hot air bubbles became more violent, and temperature in the surrounding increased at a rapid pace. The same time, waves were formed on the pool of lava-like on the ocean, churning it in the process.

Kenshin again jumped a few meters back to avoid any surprises from the lava pool. He didn’t want to be splashed like earlier. The emission of sulphuric gases increased exponentially. Still, it didn’t do anything to make Kenshin hurt. Squinting his eyes, he watched as a blurry figure slowly emerged from the pool, taking the form of a huge giant that shaped like a human. Kenshin watched in bated breath for it to appear form the gaseous curtain and reveal its glory to him.
Then his wait was rewarded, as the sulphuric gases began to filter out, thinning the coagulation and clearing his vision. But as the form of the monster started to appear, Kenshin’s eyes widened slowly, so did his jaw hanging. And when the final form of the beast was revealed, he became so speechless that he forgot to close his mouth that could hold a cow in it.
It was red and so red and hot…very hot. No! not that kind of hot, but literal hot like high temperature hot. Its body, it was made out entirely of lava in the pool. Some places, like its hand, torso, its crotch, its legs, the lava in there were hardened to rocks, looking red and steaming hot. They looked incredibly hard as if they could punch holes through steel.
Except for these selected body parts, everywhere else were made out of, still moving around lava. The giant didn’t have a distinctive face, just the shape. Standing at the height of ten meters, with its steaming hot body, it was very intimidating to the sight.

Kill Lava Golem Lv 54 Rewards: 5000 EXP; 10 SP; Passive Fire resistance Lv 1
The appearance of this monster didn’t surprise as much as the rewards. It's surprisingly normal, compared to the rewards thrown by the system back in the north and his earlier quests, it lacks by a considerable margin. After thinking for a few minutes, he finally concluded that it might be due to him being stronger than the monster, both in levels and by stats.

This time, Kenshin was very much attracted to the later two rewards. He wasn’t worried about the experience points, they would come eventually. It was the skill points he lacked the most right now. With skills like Axel’s shadow manipulation, that Monkey chief’s [Call] laying around him, he needed as many SP as he could get to level up his [Replication]. Every level to it allowed him to replicate two new skills, and also increased the probability of copying a skill successfully.
With ten skill points, he could increase the level of [Replication] ten times, but he didn’t need to level it that much. Only twice was enough, the remaining ones, he wanted to save it for rainy days. As for fire resistance, it would eliminate the possibility of taking damage by his own skills as well as other’s fire-related skills. Out of all the elements, fire element skills packed a real mean punch, second only to lightning element skills. But the existence of a lightning element skill was so rare that, even in Japan, there were only four people who possess it.
Most of the top class hunters possessed fire-related skills and many variants of it. Take Maria, for example, she had the rare variant of fire skill, the explosion skill. He had also heard of a man who had a skill that could melt even the toughest of the metal with just a touch, back when he was a low-class grunt.
As for him, he initially got a fire type skill as the class bonus. But later it evolved so much that it returned to its origin and became a skill that allowed him to purely manipulate fire at its essence.
With the monster gradually invading his safe zone, Kenshin accepted the mission and got ready to kill it.
[Lava Golem][Level 54]
[HP: 1999/1999]
[ATK: 200][DEF: 200][AGI: 21]
[Skills]
Physical Damage Resistance Lv 10(50% immune to all type of physical damage) Magical Damage Resistance Lv 10(50% immune to all type of magical damage) Sturdy Body Lv 5(10% damage resistance) Heat Wave Lv 5(-20HP/10 seconds within 50 meters radii of the user) Lava Blow Lv 5(Throw a concentrated blob of lava at high speed causing 500 damage to the opponent) Transforming Body(Can freely change the state of any part of the body)(Race only skill)(Can’t be copied) Earth Body (+50 HP; +100 STA every minute as long as the body was connected to the earth.)
Seven skills! This monster had seven skills, and none of them looked weak or useless. Among it, he had a variant of one of those skills and one he couldn’t copy. Looks like there was something impossible even for his skill to copy, or it might be because that was a racial skill. But he wasn’t disappointed, he already possessed a skill that could achieve the same result. Among the left out skills, he wanted, no needed the two resistance types.
He knew that as he grows strong, the enemies he would face will only grow stronger. And he wasn’t talking about monsters only…
Clenching his fist, he lifted his right foot and zoomed on towards the burning monster, very much in the mood to pound some much needed points out of it.

They felt the golden dust of their divinity drift away from them, and the message of that wind became clear… This Winter will never end so that the Earth will.
