After regaining her bearing, Kaio’s wife’s already cold face became several degrees colder. Although what happened in the room had hurt her feelings deeply, it was not a new thing for her. She had already gotten used to such behaviors of her so-called husband to whom she loved deeply.

In the end, that love was just one-sided on her part.

What she did may not be the best in people’s eye but didn’t they say that nothing is unacceptable in love and war? Following that perspective, it can be concluded that she didn’t do any wrong at all. Exiting her room, she came down to her study located on the first floor, adjacent to the room her husband was sleeping in. Then she summoned one of her maids, her most trusted one.

Not very long later, a girl wearing a maid outfit entered the room. She didn’t look any older than fourteen, her brown hairs were tied in a bun and covered with a white cloth. She had hazelnut colored eyes that glittered whenever she showed some strong emotions, though right now it's dull and hazy. Her thin eyebrows were slanted. With her small nose, she gave off a budding beauty kind of vibe.

Her name was Trixi, one of the youngest but brightest maids in her care. Although she was only fourteen, her mind was so bright that not even a genius could defeat her. Though a maid, she took care fo all the financial matters for her and would often carry out her dirty deeds in secret. It can also be said that she was the right-hand woman of her’s.

“You called for me, mistress!?” with a bow, the girl politely asked.

“Oh! Trixi. You are finally here. I am waiting for you all this time. Did you find what I have asked you for?” the lady asked with narrowed eyes. Even with her cold disposition, the way she looked at the young maid was the same as how a mother looks at her daughter.

“I am sorry, mistress. I am unable to find anything. Though I have collected enough information about that woman.” The maid apologized at her incompetency in a very calm tone.

“Ho! Is that so! Tell me who is that woman?”

“Her name is Watanabe Yui, though she preferred to call herself Yui. She is a single mother with a child of mixed birth. The child is half Japanese and half westerner. She also didn’t have any backing or connections. There is no information on her husband. As for the hunter, he is a tenant on one of her houses. That’s all I am able to find out. I am sorry for my incompetence.”

“No, don’t worry. You did a very good job. At least you know where to search unlike the useless people working here.” the woman let out a sigh while looking at the maid she considers her own daughter.

“Trixi, what do you think we should do?” she asked. There was a plan already formed on her head, but she wanted to hear the opinions of this bright-minded maid. She always preferred listening to this maid of her’s. She always points out the most unconventional but the most effective ways to deal with a target.

“Harming her directly will be impossible. Suppressing her and her daughter politically will also be dangerous. Even if we use all the tricks in our sleeves, our opponent is a magic skill user working for the government. They would never actively go against him. But, in the end, all this can only happen if we do all this openly. If we do things behind his back and threaten the woman under his nose, there is a chance of success.

We must find a chance to threaten the woman directly. From what I gathered, the relationship shared by the hunter and the woman is not ordinary. I assume, even if she is not his lover, she is at least someone close to him. That’s why, if we act fast and catch the weak link sooner, we can easily control the hunter.” the fourteen years old girl said some vicious things that shouldn’t be coming out of the mouth of a girl of her age.

But maybe that’s the reason why she treasured her so much. She didn’t know who this girl was, but she was with her for two years already. She picked her up from the roadside and gave her the job as a maid. It was during one event that she discovered this girl’s talent. After that she always allowed her to stay by her side and observe various maters and ask her opinions on it.

As the days passed, she gradually discovered the vicious disposition of this girl who would always take the unconventional but efficient ways to deal with a problem.

Today too she pointed out many actions and plans to deal with the current situation they were in, which, even she would have overlooked in the past. Hell, when she was of her age, she was nowhere close to her level of intelligence. Her intelligence had also helped her guild to complete many dungeon raids efficiently, making her the most important asset under her.

The moment you see him leave this city, immediately inform me. we will execute our plan then.” The lady made her decision. “As you command.” The little maid excused herself and retreated out of the room.

The next day Kenshin took the public bus for his target, the level 4 dungeon on Lake Hinuma. He had left Axel with Mrs. Yui and Ellie. As there was no need for him to tag along with him. Where he was going is a level 4 dungeon. It was more dangerous for him to stay within Kenshin’s shadow.

Kenshin had never ventured into a level 4 dungeon, making it his first ever. To say he was nervous wasn’t wrong either. He was indeed nervous and also expectant. He wanted to experience what he never able to before. He wanted to explore this new place and also increase his own understanding of his powers.

Dungeons were divided into three main categories. Upper, Middle and Lower. With each category having three tiers, upper tier, middle tier, and lower tier. Each category has ten levels, and each tier has 3 levels. That is to say, dungeons from level 1 to level 10 comes under the lower category. From level 11 to level 20 comes under middle and from level 20 to level 30 comes under the upper category. Similarly, from level 1 to level 3 comes under the lower tier of a lower category. Level 4 to level 6 comes under middle tier and level 7 to level 10 was upper tier dungeons.

All the classification of dungeons were done in the same way.
