After gaining his divine skill, Kenshin stumbled towards the mouth of the cave while holding the walls for support. Every step was a struggle in itself. Even so, squeezing out all the will and stamina in his body he pushed forth and step by step advanced towards the mouth.

“Just a little more…the mouth…I can see it…” Kenshin walked step by step, treading on it like he was climbing on a very stiff mountain. Finally, when he reached the mouth of the cave, he saw it. In the sky, a massive spatial tear was opened from which an equally massive golden arm sticking out. Right now, that arm was glowing red while grabbing onto the ends of spatial tear and keeping it from closing down.

“This must be that fifth servant or whatever!!” for a second he became speechless at the proportion of the arm that was sticking out of the spatial tear. He began imagining the scenario where the owner of this arm suddenly comes over to this world and wreck havoc to its heart's content. Probably no one on earth could stop it, that’s how Kenshin felt after seeing the arm which was encompassed in a red mist.

“Hey! Who are you?” just when he was marvelling as well as dreading the massive arm, the voice of a woman entered his ear. Looking around, he found a brown-haired woman wearing the same type if cloak as others, laying flat on the ground. She seemed to have heavily affected by the arm’s pressure.

Startled by her shout, Kenshin nearly lost his footing, but somehow controlled himself. Seeing her defenceless form, a glint formed on his eye. Raising his right arm, he used his recently acquired divine skill. Seven multicoloured twinkling stars formed on his palm as they began circling around it, forming an orbit.

Forming seven shining stars was his limit, any more and it would dissipate. Kenshin felt that unless he levels up this skill, he couldn’t increase its power. It’s a shame that he didn’t have any unused skill points or else he would have used it on this skill.

With his will, he ordered one of the orbiting stars to attack the woman. Heeding his command,, the shining star construct flashed towards the woman’s head, making a silver streak in the process. Like a falling star, it impacted her forehead and came out of the other side.

The woman, with her eyes wide, could only watch Kenshin in astonishment as her life gradually faded away. Until the end, she couldn’t believe that she was killed just like that.

“So aiming for their heads would result in a critical hit! Nice!” muttering to himself, Kenshin repeated the process to all the other remaining cloaked crooks. He even levelled up by 1 in the process, although no one else’s strength was that higher than the woman.

Its only after that he noticed the massive arm’s constant effort to keep the spatial tear opening.

“I can't allow that!” he instantly charged 14 stars in both hands and aimed it towards the arm. His divine skill’s ability was to absolutely deal 1000 damage no matter the defence of the enemy. A mere 1000 damage might be nothing to this monster, but it was enough to lose its strength for an instant at this situation. That instant was enough for him to drive that arm back.

Pointing his two arms towards the arm, he let loose his 14 stars. They travelled like laser beams and attacked all the joints of the arm. At this critical, by only attacking the joint could he give enough shock to make it powerless for an instant.

Fourteen stars which were aligned in such a way that only four stars would be visible ignored all kind of defences and penetrated the two joints in the massive arm. Kenshin watched the massive arm shuddering for a second as the red mist surrounding it vanished completely. At that time he knew his plan succeeded.

The spatial tear also began closing at a faster pace. Just as he was about to relax, he noticed the arm wriggling like a

worm, in fright, he charged another 14 stars and let it loose towards the arm. The fingers of the arm opened and closed at a rapid pace as if the owner was in severe pain. Then it began receding into the crack, the same way it came out.

“Yeah!!!” he cheered in excitement but instantly ran inside. He noticed the absence of pressure the moment the hand started its retreat. Fearing that someone would pursue him, he ran away from the mouth and initiated his Burrow skill to slither away from that place. One could never be too careful in today’s era.

Using his remaining stamina and MP, he travelled at the top speed towards the main gate via which he came inside. He just wanted to go home and take a long break from all this violence. He had enough of this saving the world crap, he needs a few days of break to calm his nerves. He also wanted to go back to his home and convert some percentage his golds to cash and have some money around.

Most importantly, he wanted to go on a vacation. Although he got a divine skill, he wasn’t the least bit excited. The last moment where he used it drive back that hand was probably observed many people, both good and bad. He could never reveal that skill in the public as Kenshin Muto. Because the moment he does, his private life would be in jeopardy. His sister’s life might be at risk due to this.

In this case, he would follow those western heroes’ example and continue a dual identity, and that was if the situation calls for it. Or else he would never use those set skills in public ever again.

On that day, unknown to him, a new legend in his name was born. A person who used his laser beams to defeat and drove back a catastrophic monster back from this world and saved billions of people.

From this day onwards, the legend of Laser Hero was born…much to Kenshin’s charging to this embarrassing name. He even vowed to never reveal his identity ever in future.
