-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-Fully Unsealed(1)-
After seeing off Kenshin, Vera adopted a serious face and immediately headed towards the entry and exit gate, the small opening in the ice walls made by some powerhouses. The spot Kenshin choose to come out was a little far from the entrance as such it took her five minutes at her top speed to reach there.
“Halt!” a loud voice sounded in Russian when Vera was within 200 meters of the gate. After that, a sturdy blond headed individual wearing a military issued vest, and white cargo pants appeared out of nowhere. In fact, he didn’t appear out of nowhere, it's just his skill that made his overall speed much much faster than what an ordinary hunter’s eye could follow. It was speed related physical skill user, rarer than magic skill users and enjoy the same privileges as a magic skill user.
As the man appeared he scanned Vera from top to bottom, when his eyes landed on her breasts, he gulped a mouthful of saliva. Although Vera noticed his frivolous look, she didn’t say anything. She just wanted to accomplish the task entrusted by Kenshin as soon as possible, she didn’t have time to waste her time with this kind of idiots. Without giving him a reply, she speeds towards the gate.
The man’s obscene smile instantly vanished when he saw the woman ignoring him entirely. To him, who was an egomaniac, this kind of attitude shown by a woman towards him was like the greatest humiliation to him. With a frown, he immediately activated his skill and tried to grab Vera’s arm. Just as he was about to touch her left arm, suddenly he felt like the world spun around him, then he realized that the world wasn’t actually spinning, it was him who was spinning in the air. A few seconds later he felt pain like no other in his stomach, he lost consciousness before touching the ground.

Without even looking back, Vera moved on. After reaching the gate entrance, she was stopped by the guards there. Then she revealed her status and employment ID which was confirmed instantly.
“Welcome back Divison Leader!” the hunters standing guard gave her a salute to which she nodded in response. Just as she was about to move on, she looked towards the place where the idiot was laying face down and pointed her finger towards that direction to a guard standing near her.
“An idiot was sleeping there, bring him in.” after that she directly left the place with a cold and distant face. But behind that façade lied a serious concern and a sense of urgency. After finishing her business at the gate, she immediately rushed to the DCB headquarters. With her top speed, she managed to reach it in two minutes.
Without greeting or caring about anyone, she instantly ran towards her personal tent. As she was not in the main tent, her private tent was currently closed and guarded by a soldier appointed by the DCB. When the soldier saw Vera running towards him, he immediately made a military salute towards her.
With a nod, she entered her tent. The insides of her tent were like any other tents, a bed and a table with various tools on it. A map hung on one of the cloth walls, showing details of North pole. She didn’t care about any of those, she immediately ran towards her safe and retrieved a black box that’s one-third of her height. Towards the box’s top, there was a digital locker system that showed some keys and an LED display. Punching a few numbers, she opened it.
Inside the box was a red crystal, connected to it was a LED display and a keyboard. There was an earphone with a microphone attached to it. This device was one of the device made for long distance, uninterrupted communications between higher officials of an association. Basically, this device runs by converting sound and electric energy into magic energy that was transmitted by the red crystal to the receiver crystal on the other side. Its one of the most advanced devices invented by humans that didn’t need any wavelength or known spectrum to transmit messages.

“Hello, this is receiver’s ID 244XXXX may I know the ID of the caller?” a male voice was heard from the other side.
“Hello. This is Vera, Divison Leader of North Mission, my ID is 0784XXX. I want to transmit an urgent message to the command centre. Please inform them as soon as possible that I found the leak. On account of my authority, I make this message’s urgency as priority 1, be quick.” After saying that she cut off the phone and sat down on the bed, waiting for the reply.
Suddenly eyes glittered as an average eastern face appeared in her memories, suddenly her body quivered as she shook her head to clear it off such thoughts. Right now she was thinking of not only about Kenshin’s safety, but humanity’s as a whole. This encounter with that woman had brought a sense of crisis to her heart. If Kenshin’s speculation was correct, then this group of lunatics might be more dangerous than any other catastrophe.
Within a single night, they conquered the entire north pole, granted there was no human garrison stationed there. But the fact that they could make monsters follow their orders and completely change the terrain was a testament to their power. That woman she encountered was a summoner by profession, as such her fighting strength at close combat was the lowest if she could defeat her in just three blows, then what about other members? They must be as much if not more powerful than her.
In such a situation some of the higherups need to interfere or else all the hunters inside there would if wiped out by them.

Fifteen minutes later her communication device vibrated while producing a melodious sound. This indicates that someone from the other side was trying to contact her. She sprang out from the bed and ran towards the receiver and answered it.
“Divison Leader Vera speaking here!”
“Hellow Divison Leader Vera, I am Charles, in charge of secret affairs. We heard you found a well. I would like a detailed report on that.” voice of a middle-aged man followed from the other side. After her call, a huge change had occurred on the Russian DCB branch. With Vera’s identity, she could only prioritize a message up to level 1, but even that was enough to send the secret affairs department in a flurry. This was because of the content of the message.
What she said was a coded message that would mean that she had found solid information regarding the situation and in need of immediate assistance. As such the moment they received this message, the Russian branch had called for a meeting with all the higher members, and then they called Vera to brief on her findings. Knowing that this would happen, she was already prepared as such she was very formal from the beginning. At Charl’s urging, she started to narrate on her encounters from the moment she left through the gate.

Twoen
The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
