-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-Death(1)-
Hundreds of snow apes ganged up on Kenshin, trying to beat him up into a paste. But Kenshin, as if possessed by a wild beast, fought with them crazily. His broadsword streaked around, slicing and dicing monsters around him. Although he was stricken by those monkeys every now and then, ut still didn’t affect his battle prowess. On the contrary, it made him even more aggressive.
Suddenly a monkey body slammed him, sending him flying. Before he could stabilize himself, a group of monkeys came, and body slammed him on the ground. After that, more than fifty monkeys threw themselves above a laying Kenshin. Very soon a mountain of monkeys formed with Kenshin squashed below them.
BOOM!!!
But suddenly an explosion occurred sending out purple colored flames that instantly burned some of the monkeys into a crisp. The force of the explosion also send the monkeys in top flying into the nearby wall. More than 70% of total monkeys covering Kenshin died at that time.
From within the purple flame, the figure of Kenshin came out and made its way towards another group of monkeys. Within a few minutes, he did quick work out of the monkeys. Some were dead while others were wounded to the point that they wouldn't survive for long.
Just as he was about to head for another group, a loud roar heard in the sky. He instantly stopped his charge and looked towards the direction the roar came from. For a second he entirely became still as he observed the owner of the sudden roar.
Big! That was the only word that could explain that creature. But the current Kenshin didn’t have that much consciousness to comment that. All he could see was a powerful monster waiting to be killed.
“AHHHSS!!” roaring out in a strange noise, he immediately jumped up. The ground he stood cracked, forming spider wave cracks due to the force. Using the broken floors as a pivot, he jumped up directly towards the opening where the head of the massive monster was showing. Within a scant few seconds, he was out of the hole and was standing at the edge, looking intently at the gigantic ape.

The fire armor in his body suddenly started to flicker before reforming into a more sturdy looking one. Taking a step, he vanished from his spot and made his way towards the ape’s face. He didn’t care if the ape was going to squash someone he knew, all he cares was the ape’s face that he was going to burn with his flames. Suddenly his speed doubled as he became a blur even to those high leveled hunters.
During that time the ape was just going to squash Vera, who had closed her eyes in acceptance.
Kenshin appeared in front of the ape with a purple flash with his hands in the shape of a punch.
Crack!
Something braking sound was heard as he gave a heavy punch to the monkey’s nose. In addition to that, the fire did some additional damage to the face. Even though it had a thick skin and a striking defense, the face was still a vulnerable spot.
The ape was so surprised at the sudden pain that it lost its balance and skidded a few steps back to stabilize itself. But how could Kenshin give it enough time to recover! He soon followed it and started to cause damages to all over its face and neck.
Suddenly Kenshin’s hands increased in size to unbelievable proportions, before forming into two massive fists. The fist’s size was twice of Kenshin’s. Then he slowly moved them before suddenly increasing its speed.
Boom!!
One of the fists landed heavily on the right side of the ape, bending its face. Then another landed on its right cheek. Like that Kenshin continued to land one after another punch on the monkey’s face.
Finally, the monkeys could no longer balance itself and fell down with its back facing the ground. At that time, one of the Kenshin’s big burning fist again changed its shape and formed a massive chainsaw. With just thought the blades began to rotate as Kenshin thrust it toward’s the ape’s neck.

Kroar!!
The ape shouted in pain as the blade shredded its neck. But it was worthy to be called a semi-ascended monster. It had a very thick skin. But Kenshin’s blade was no ordinary chainsaw, it was made purely out of his purple flame. Besides the physical damage, it was also causing extra burning damage. Behind his helmet, Kenshin laughed sinisterly.
He lifted his blade and aimed it towards its already wounded eye this time. Just as he was about to stab, he felt a searing pain to his back and was sent flying. Like a rolling stone, he rolled on the ground landed several hundred meters away from where he stood initially.
But in the middle of rolling he regained his balance and using his hands and legs he broke his momentum. Half of his armor in his torso was broken and was now slowly repairing.
After stabilizing himself, Kenshin looked towards his attacker. It was a cloaked figure who had her legs extended towards his direction, obviously using it to kick him earlier. Fisting his hand, the purple flames flared in his body as it immediately repaired his broken armors. Standing up he ran toward’s the cloaked person. Covering a few hundred meters in a few seconds, he reached Lyda and lifted his right arm to punch her cloaked face.
But Lyda used her left hand to change the trajectory of his punch and send a punch of her own to his abdomen. At that time Kenshin lifted his left leg and used his knees to stop the incoming blow. But even so, he was sent a few steps back due to the force of her punch. The purple leg guards broke apart after that encounter but were soon repaired itself. She came near him and aimed a kick towards his face, leaning to his right Kenshin avoided and gave a roundhouse kick toward’s her left chest.
But she stopped it using her left hand. At that time the purple leg guards flared suddenly as a huge amount of flames enveloped her left side.
“Ah!” giving out a pained cry, the woman separated herself from Kenshin and jumped back to put away the flame. After she put away the flames, she discovered half of the cloak was burned to crisp. Not only that some of her long white hair was also burned down.
From the starting till now, it was the first time she had taken damage. And finally, her face was revealed.
She had a narrow but gorgeous face. Her eyes were also thin with black shadows drawn below it. Her pupils were brown colored, but instead of normal round pupil, she had slit ones. She also had a third eye on her forehead, but it was closed now. She was wearing purple lipstick. Two fangs were picking below her upper lips.
If described in one word, she could be described as a deadly beauty. But to the current Kenshin it didn’t matter, he only cares about if his target had died or not.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
